Barkbox earns largely positive reviews for delightful themed unboxings, durable toys (especially Super Chewer for many) and responsive, accommodating customer service, so yes—the brand generally works and is good for keeping dogs engaged. Reviews also flag weaknesses: treats can be repetitive or upset sensitive stomachs, some toys fail fast for extreme chewers or pose tearable parts, customization/themes can feel rigid or duplicative, and auto‑renewal and shipping issues frustrate some users.

I loved being a bark box subscriber - we are currently taking a break from it, as we ended up with so many toys, but my dog loved it. My only wish is that they would have special options for dogs with dietary restrictions, but I understand that would be difficult.
If my dog could speak he would say he loves every barkbox.

More chew proof toys. My dog destroys his toys in seconds.
Barkbox superchewer - their marketing tactics are smart but you have to spend so much to get a "free product" The amount of treats is so small when you have a big dog! My dog doesn't like any of their toys, he's just excited for their treats I think it's awful they make so many tearable toys because I don't want my dog eating any of it!
Feedback
no more tearable toys on purpose-puts dogs at choking or blockage risk more treats for bigger dogs

They’re great! They make such fun and interesting toys it’s always fun to see what well get
These are great quality toys, my dogs are legitimately obsessed and the themes are very fun. I love that in squeekers themselves are balls, so there's a toy within a toy essentially. Really love Barkbox
I subscribe to the SuperChewer version of Barkbox. I definitely don't think a majority of the toys should be marketed as "tough" given my dog destroys them in about 30 seconds, but I'm still rating Barkbox highly due to their customer service. Whenever my dog destroys a toy, providing I send a photo of the toy to Barkbox, they'll send us a new one!

I wish the SuperChewer toys were tougher.
My dog and I always love BarkBox day when it comes in the mail! We get the Super Chewer box, since Poppy can get enthusiastic with her play time. The themes are always fun, and I really appreciate their customer service - they customize the box based on your reviews (toys not strong enough? more nylon. dog loves ripping fabric? more fabric!) and if a toy doesn't hold up to snuff, they'll ship you a new one free of charge.

their toys are my dog's faves, they're fairly durable depending on the toy, we've had some of them last for years. we usually get them from target (not the subscription box)
Just received Lucy’s first bark box. I bought the most expensive one because they were giving away a free large dog bed with purchase. I work with rescues and need all the beds I can get. To make long story short, I did not get the bed….it “wasn’t added correctly “ when I checked out. They said it was supposed to be automatically added. Well..,. After talking to customer service, and being told that the deal is over with now, I cancelled my YEAR subscription of the largest box. Come on people…. Sometimes you have to use your brain. Great toys and treats, loved the box, but you lost me as a customer by offering products you will not not honor.
We Love the SuperChewer Bark Box. My dog Checkers gets one every year for Christmas, because I can't justify getting one monthly. It just becomes an overwhelming amount of toys. But I appreciate that the boxes can be ordered as a one-off. The quality of toys and treats is great.
I have had the superchewer Barkbox for two months now. The treats are really good quality, and my dogs seem to enjoy them. The toys seem to be hit and miss with my dogs, for example this month we got a leaf toy that they aren't too interested in. I think I would rather have more toys than treats, but maybe there is a way of customizing that. Overall, I think it is a good service and a way of making sure you always have treats on hand, particularly for training purposes.
Great customer service and really fun product. I’ve had great experiences with them.
Fun unboxing but my dog ignored most of the treats and got over the toys pretty quickly.
The subscription can get pricey but it's worth it! When I got my dog he was a destroyer of all toys and they made sure to tailor his toys to him. When there was an issue with a toy they would send a replacement and it would get to us in 2/3 days.

Bark box has a verity of good toys suited for your type of dog along with fun treats. I have a 100lb dog and we got very durable toys and treats made with good ingredients that he loved. Also they have fun themes for each box which always entertained me. The only downside is that it is a subscription service and can be a bit costly
I had this for my dog, and I don’t know about her but it was always my favorite time of the month. So high quality and impressive.
I cannot say enough great things about Bark Box and the joy it has brought to my furry friend, Ollie, a lovable golden doodle. Bark Box has truly exceeded my expectations with its exceptional quality, unique selection of toys, and overall customer experience. I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved five-star rating! From the moment I signed up, Bark Box demonstrated their commitment to tail-wagging satisfaction. The website is user-friendly, making it effortless to personalize Ollie's box with his preferences and size. The subscription process was seamless, and the anticipation built as we eagerly awaited our first box.
Loved this subscription box. My dog always loved almost everything in each box. Cute toys. Yummy treats. Just a very easy subscription service to use.

We have a puggle and pit bull/chihuahua. It’s so fun to get the boxes every month and let them “pick” what toy they want. I love bark Box and so do my pups!

So many fun themed boxes! I loved how much thought went into the products. The treats don't get along with my dog's stomach so those feel like a bust but the toys always are a favorite in the group!
