Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

So glad they have expanded. We were early adopters. Now we have tried all their products and several are on our weekly shopping list.
This pasta is a good healthy alternative to traditional flour pasta, but is lacking a bit in the texture department for me. I just can't seem to get that ideal al dente texture without being too chewy. It also changes the flavor profile a bit of my italian dishes that I cook using this pasta.

Pasta is delicious and maintains it structural integrity. Love the protein and clean ingredients.

Banza is a healthy, everyday pasta option that is palatable for vegans and people who wish to avoid gluten and soy ingredients. I have tried various flavors including pasta, mac & cheese, and pizza. Pasta flavors are my favorite, as they are easy to cook and taste good. Pizza is a bit lacking in flavor and relatively small compared with other multi-serve packages.
LOVE Banza and the added protein! It is my go to anytime I make a pasta dish.
this pasta is good for what it is, but you can definitely tell that it's not regular pasta. I eat it because it has a lot of protein in it but I don't love it.
I think the Banza chickpea pizza is actually one of the most delicious frozen pizzas in the store. The price is a bit steep but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The pasta also is great for someone who wants a change of pace from the usual white pasta in the supermarket.

Cooks up just like classic pasta and tastes great so I now use Banza instead. Bonus points because it’s such an easy way to get more necessary nutrients into my picky toddlers diet!
Talk about tasty panbe you got to try this.
These are pretty good! It took me a bit to get used to the texture of these noodles but they’re still tasty!
I live Banza products! They are easy to cook and are a healthy alternative to traditional pasta. They’re a staple in my pantry.
I'm obsessed with Banza pasta!! Great alternative to wheat pasta. Make sure to watch the pot as you boil it because it tends to boil over. Must try!!
Banza has fully replaced traditional pasta in our house. Love that we're getting a big punch of extra protein and fiber with every pasta meal.
Good quality chickpea pasta! The rice is very good, though I prefer the lentil-based brand right rice which offers numerous fun flavors. I don't think Banza is worth the price relative to store band but it is still a quality product with good taste and deserves respect!
too much of a protein taste I did not like this
I wanted to love this pasta alternative, but the texture just was not appealing. Like most gluten free alternatives, it was a little grainy and soggy. Not my favorite.
The closest I've gotten to real pasta. It definitely is a great alternative to real pasta. I wouldn't eat it plain though- it's slightly bitter but with the right toppings you won't know the difference. It can be a bit more expensive than real pasta. But it fills you up more than real pasta because of the amount of protein in it!
