These feel just ask expensive as they are. I was very reluctant to buy from this brand because of the cost, but I’m glad that I did. I’m not sure I would buy them at full price, but for Black Friday I think it’s worth it.

I recently placed a fairly sizable order from Aesop, and it delivered the experience I’ve come to expect from the brand. The hand and body products like Reverence and Resurrection Aromatique Hand Washes, along with the Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser, are nuanced and fresh/clean. I know some would like the scent to last longer, but I don't think it's necessary for a soap to have such fragrance longevity. I also enjoyed the Refresh Bar Soap and Olous Aromatique Room Spray, which further that cohesive Aesop atmosphere. The fragrance sampler set (Anthology I) was a nice way to explore their scent world, though not every fragrance felt like something I’d wear regularly. As always, the presentation and branding are beautiful, but the pricing does keep this from being a no-notes experience. I love having Aesop in the mix, just not for every single category— definitely a special gift option though for those luxury fragrance friends in your life.

I first discovered Aesop in a restaurant bathroom and I remember immediately thinking how lovely both the hand soap and moisturizer were. The scent was distinctive and the whole experience just felt elevated. I held off on buying it myself because it is borderline absurdly expensive for a hand wash and moisturizer set. I’m using the Reverence scent, and I love the gentle exfoliation. It’s just enough to feel like a mini reset for your hands without being harsh. Over the winter, I noticed my hands stayed a bit softer than usual. I’ve already had to replenish the hand soap, but the moisturizer seems like it will last quite a while. All in all, it feels like a small daily luxury that I’ve come to really enjoy.

First time buying from Aesop though I’ve used their products before. The hand wash has a unique smell, and I like that it’s not too thick and also has finely milled pumice — pumice is a nice touch and is fine enough where it doesn’t feel too abrasive or aggressive. Before buying, I thought the bottles were glass, but they’re actually plastic. While the scent and quality of the soap is nice, I think I still prefer more affordable options for myself, but I feel like Aesop products, like the hand wash, make decent gifts. Not sure if it’s just me (or maybe due to the holidays), but I requested a gift bag, but the hand washes just came in a box wrapped in paper, which was a bit of a bummer. Haven’t had a chance to ask support about it yet.

I think good things are popular for a reason, especially after a long time! Aesop has been the GOAT forever, and I get why. I absolutely love the soaps and the hand cream is really great value for the price— lasts forever. The hand sanitizer is one of my favorites as well. Most of all, I feel like Aesop has been consistently great for decades, which is increasingly rare.

There's a reason this soap has a cult following, and even though it's pricey it is one of those small pleasures you can make last over many months. I also love to gift the Aesop gift boxes to friends and folks who are impossible to find gifts for... or who live in small apartments... or who have it all. They're pricey, but a small luxury that really makes someone feel special I think.

Great smelling soap with a beautiful bottle. A heavier glass bottle would be nicer, but I understand safety concerns if glass breaks. I don't think I would buy again with it being over 5 times as expensive as any other soaps I can buy.

I can’t think of anything that smells as good as this scent! It’s absolutely phenomenal. The price tag is bonkers, undeniable, but holy smokes is the scent undeniable. Does it wash your hands or moisturize them any better than a drugstore brand? No. But does it smell so unbelievably good and it sticks around? Absolutely. It’s THE status hand soap for a reason, there are no dupes. It’s def a nice to have not a need to have, but if you do have it…sensational! Was expecting a bit more of an elevated unboxing from them, but it was deeply mediocre. I think the acquisition may have cut the corners of delight.

Say what you want, but this was one of the real OGs when it comes to chic, simplified hair & body care. The hand wash, lotion, and poo drops will forever remain in my "most iconic" list. Sure it's pricey, sure other brands have gone on to take away some of that "cool" factor, but respect needs to be given where it's due.

No one understands that I thought about this product for a year before I bought it. Let me tell you, it is worth the investment. This makes me want to wash my hands all of the time because of how good it feels on your skin. Plus, I feel so luxurious.

Lux but expensive. The hand soap, especially the reverence hand wash and redemption scrub is so lush. The skincare is great but I’m not sure it’s worth it, I would rather use medical or higher active ingredient products but for an all natural brand it’s really a luxe experience. I use the Parsley seed oil cleanser every night for removing makeup and it’s such a nice treat at the end of the day, spa-like and does the job very well. Also B triple C and Lucent are great. Recently purchased the incense and I will never be buying any other incense. I’ve bought the papers, the expensive blue ones (can’t remember the name), so many. But the Aesop ones have turned me, and my sister, after she came over and asked what is that smell. So good

Aesop products feel super luxurious — the scents, the textures, even the packaging all make it a beautiful brand to experience. I do love using them, but I honestly don’t know if they’re worth the high price point. I was lucky enough to get mine for free, and while I’ve enjoyed them, I’m not sure I’d personally splurge at full retail.

Unfortunately the brand is not over hyped or overpriced because all the products are phenomenal! The scent experiences alone are worth it but the hand and body products also cleanse without stripping the skin of moisture.

The most elevated hand soap. I love having this in my bathroom and it smells refreshing but not synthetic and overpowering like some traditional hand soaps.
okay so the full experience is having a sales rep wash your hands as soon as you walk in the store. honestly, love it. just pricey
I know it's expensive but it's effective and worth every penny. I even got my frugal dad hooked on their soaps. He's tried to find every dupe but can't find one that's even close to Aesop. Their hand lotions are actually nourishing and smell divine!
