The product worked great. Unfortunately, I guess I was not ready for DIY plumbing, and an invisible leak led to literally thousands in water damage within one day. I wrote in with my sad story, and Tushy sent me a few rolls of TP as consolation.

Cautionary tale / tip from my plumber: 1. Make sure your renter's insurance covers water damage caused by YOU, in addition to damage caused by others. Lemonade f*cked me on this. 2. Using a piece of dry toilet paper, run it along the length of the plumbing pipes you install, and if it gets wet at any point, find that leak and tighten that nut!

I had a bad experience using Myro for several months. Struggled with odor, sweatiness, and worst of all the deodorant refills melted and leaked inside my bathroom cabinets.

It's been over a year since I have been subscribed, so maybe they've improved the formulation for form and function. I hope so.

I only tried the first formula I received and it really dried out my hair. I wish I had known I could have asked for a free reformulation, because $70+ is pretty stiff for what's normally a ~$20 expense.

It's oat milk! It's priced well and it lasts a long time. I buy it for my boyfriend sometimes, he loves it. Shelf stable until you open it? Awesome. It gets along well enough with my whole milk that I can leave them in the fridge together unsupervised, unlike that catty soy milk.

Some of the nicest socks I own. Such a great mission - donating needed garments to shelters and outreach organizations. Many of my favorite socks fall apart from constant wear. These are built to last. I know I'm old now because these have become one of my favorite gifts.

I purchased my black original Allbirds in 2017 in preparation for an upcoming month-long trip in Europe, with my first ever real paycheck after college. I was traveling carry-on only and only brought 2 pairs of shoes, so the antimicrobial property of the merino wool used in the original Allbirds was really appealing to me, plus the fact that I could easily hand-wash them. I had no idea how COMFY they would be! After my trip, I wore them for years to my corporate job and happily machine-washed the insoles and hand-washed the uppers with Soak often. I finally wore those things out for good in 2020 (the wool got holes in it and I wore out the tread on the soles). I will be replacing them as soon as I need another nicer-looking pair of sneakers. Plus, at one point early on, Allbirds let me send my first pair back for a replacement when some stitching came undone shortly after I bought them. No idea if their customer service is still as accommodating, but I hope so :)

I haven't tried everything, but I'll be damned if their Boston Cream Pie ice cream isn't the best ice cream I've ever had. If you love Boston cream, it's worth the $12. Please get it if you can.

I've gone back to Glossier again and again since 2018. I loved their original line and I've tried many of their new products too. Their products last so long and a little goes a long way! I've got several shades of their liquid eyeshadow, I've repurchased the brown boy brow, and the cloud paint is so pigmented that I've had the same two tubes (Dusk and Beam) for three years. What a delight. I have oily eyelids that nothing really likes to stick to, so I love that I can touch up the eyeshadows almost without looking. When I was just getting into makeup, I used their concealer and liquid foundation daily - so easy, especially as someone self-conscious about looking "too" made up. I'm glad they're offering so many more shades these days. Finally, the packaging is so nice. I've saved most of it for drawer organizers, gifting, and travel pouches.

I've been using Billie razors since 2018, almost since they launched. I've been consistently impressed by both their products and their customer service. I have moved several times and the subscription has been easy to change, skip, and pause. The razors are super smooth and get the job done. I tried their shaving cream once and I enjoyed the scent and texture, but I'm a Dove-bar kind of shaver usually so I haven't re-purchased (yet)! Any time a pack of razors has gotten lost in the mail, they happily sent a new one. I have their razor travel case (brilliant) and two handles. One razor handle started degrading after about two years and they sent me a new one for free! Their razor packaging has varied a lot over the years. I think it's using less plastic with each new iteration.
