    Harmless Harvest

I tried Harmless Harvest for the first time at an airport on a 14-hour travel day. I drink a lot of coconut water as an island gal, so I was surprised to see bottled, PINK coconut water! The label explains that this is part of the oxidation process, which is helpful for context. I felt hydrated for the rest of the travel day (which is surprising, because I almost always feel very dehydrated, despite every attempt to add in electrolytes and moisture), which is a huge perk. I didn't love the taste though - despite being sugar-free, it tasted sickly-sweet to me, and the flavor was off from the traditional coconut water I know. I'd certainly be open to trying it again (and comparing it to other coconut waters in my rotation), but probably would need a coupon or real reason to buy again for enjoyability alone.

    Scent Lab

The AI is really the star of the show here - I'm quite picky about my scents and rarely order scent unsmelt (?) - from deodorants to body scrubs to candles, I like to have a preview before purchases. I was curious though about the AI's ability to accurately assess my scent preferences from a (seemingly) simple image-driven quiz enough to really want to test this out. I matched with scent #1224 and, while the description notes matched my favorite scents, I was skeptical if the actual candle would honor this well. I'm delighted to say that it did! Not only do I want to reorder this scent, I want to try the quiz again to see what other concoctions Scent Lab recommends. A few drawbacks: I would have *never* purchased this for $45 without knowing if I were to actually like the scent, and even now knowing that I like it, I still don't think it's worth $45. While it's a great smell and nicely sized candle, I can't justify that cost, especially as there's a lot of bubbling and breakage in the wax. Additionally, the packaging is underwhelming, especially for that price point - the sticker label is an eye-sore. In any case, it's a cool concept with excellent scent profiles, and I'm really grateful to get to try them out as the ThingDrop.

I've really loved every product I've tried from them (face sunscreen only), including: glow screen, matte screen, unseen sunscreen, and every face. I am on the hunt for cheaper alternatives because I live in Hawaii and use so much sunscreen daily (Supergoop is SO expensive), but until I find it, I'll keep buying. One downside (that is a big one for me): the packaging. The color: It's white, which looks luxe, but quickly becomes tinted with the color of the sunscreen (in the case of matte and glow screen). I hate this! It's also really hard to get the last 1/5 of the product out of the tube.

The packaging - please make it better!!

My absolute favorite bakery-style cookies in the whole world. I lived in NYC for years and regularly stopped at their store fronts to purchase. I ordered/shipped them to friends as gifts, and I've bought their frozen versions at Whole Foods and FoxTrot (Chicago) - not as good as in store, but can you really expect them to be? 10/10 recommend. Must stop in NYC - my favorite is the dark chocolate peanut butter. To. Die. For.

The best tasting oat milk on the market (specifically the Barista's edition). The ingredient list could be cleaner (and the calories are really high for this - whereas other milk alternatives are much lower in calories), but overall, I would recommend for someone looking for great tasting oat milk.

I love swell and their line of insulated products - my favorite are the bowls. Their water bottles were popularized all over the internet (and in subscription boxes, at gift stores, etc) for years - however, I don't actually think that they have the best water bottles (small opening - hard to clean and fill with ice). But for quality, beautiful, and long-lasting pieces, you can't go wrong with swell.

I love that Mighty Patch popularized this idea so much that other brands have created their own. However, these are SO expensive for poor results - I found that Curology's add-on blemish patches (I think they're less than $2 for 20 of them if you have a subscription) are 100000x better. These didn't really do much for me, whereas Curology's worked with a single use.

i LOVE Banza - pizza, rice, and pastas. No, it doesn't taste identical to flour-based pastas, but it's the absolute best-tasting alternative I can find. And the protein! Excellent substitution for gluten-conscious folks looking to add protein to their diets. Be careful with cook time, though - if overcooked, it's TERRIBLE.

I was one of the Girlfriend Collective's early customers back in 2017. Their fits and material comfort have improved vastly since then, and I've been a loyal customer since. I applaud their work as a leader in the body-inclusivity movement and you can absolutely count on the quality and beauty of their pieces. I love their colour palettes and sourcing of materials - this brand is amazing!

I'm all for supporting eco-conscious and woman own brands. There are costs that come with a quality product - so I understand costs! However, free shipping with no minimum would go a long way :)

DELICIOUS. I am a big dumpling/potsticker/fried rice girl and this adds a great flavor and subtle heat. I wish there was a twinge of sweetness though.
