*updated review* Unit started making a loud squealing sound and one setting no longer works. The company said it’s no longer under warranty (apparently they only offer a one year) and they also have an extended warranty through an outside company called Clyde but from what I can tell this extended warranty was not available in August 2021 when I bought the unit. Now after less than 3 years I have to replace it. I maintained the unit perfectly and expected I would get 8-10 years out of it. In the future I will sacrifice aesthetics for a higher quality longer lasting product. I love my windmill AC unit. It looks very nice and keeps my entire apartment cool. I also love that I can use their app to control the settings or use the remote that it came with. No need to use the touch controls on the unit itself.
