Tower 28 Beauty earns largely positive reviews for sensitive-skin-friendly formulas—standouts include the SOS Spray/Serum, ShineOn Lip Jelly glosses, SunnyDays SPF foundation, and the Swipe Serum Concealer—delivering calming, hydrating wear and easy, dewy application. Reviews also flag weaknesses: SOS’s hypochlorous mist can smell chlorinated and feel overhyped, some cream blushes and Bronzino lack longevity or run glittery/heavy, mascara may clump or smudge over time, packaging hinges and gloss leakage occur, and SunnyDays can oxidize, skew warm/yellow, or cling to dry patches depending on skin type.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
I was initially drawn to Tower 28 because of their incredible packaging—yes, I judged a book by its cover—and I’m so glad I did. Everything I’ve purchased from them has exceeded my expectations. I don’t have any major skin concerns, but the SOS Rescue Spray has become a staple in my routine. I love using it after the gym or while I’m out by the pool on a hot day. I’ve recommended it to many friends because it’s such a versatile and soothing product. The Barrier Recovery Cream also has a wonderful formulation. I was squeezing out the last bits of my previous bottle because I didn’t want to run out. I haven’t tried their cleanser yet, but I’m confident I’ll love it based on the quality of their other products. The LipSoftie shockingly dethroned Rhode as my favorite lip balm. It’s so comfortable and nourishing. I keep one in every bag. The mascara is great, providing nice length and definition; however, I prefer a bit more volume, so hopefully they explore other formulations of it in the future. I own two shades of the BeachPlease Cream Blush because they are so pretty on both cheeks and lips. What I really appreciate about Tower 28 is that all their products are thoughtfully designed with sensitive skin in mind. It’s a brand I trust and will continue to support.

I love this brand! I love that it is certified friendly for people with eczema. I have tried the tower 28 spray and I’m obsessed. I spray it on my face everyday several times a day and it makes my skin so clear. I also recently tried their mascara. It’s really good.

Great and affordable products! Tower 28 ShineOn Lip Jelly lipglosses are my FAVORITE and I think they’re so worth the money for the amount of product and quality that you’re getting. They are so lightweight and not sticky at all. They make your lips look luscious af!! Especially in the sun! I have so many shades but I think the clear one and is my fave just to add a lil oomph to a look. I haven’t tried much else other than the lip/cheek tinted balm and I enjoyed that but it wasn’t anything super special.

I am deeply obsessed with the Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray. It’s one of those rare products that I constantly find in my empties and immediately repurchase. Any brand that takes the time to be approved by the National Eczema Association has my full trust—and my money. This spray is a total lifesaver. It’s gentle, effective, and keeps my sensitive skin calm and happy. I especially notice it helps reduce flare-ups around my period and keeps my skin feeling clean, balanced, and clear. An absolute staple in my routine.

The "Chill" shade of the lip jelly smells just like coconut! And, it's completely clear. The only con with this one is that it doesn't seem to be as long lasting as other lip balms and glosses I've tried.

I have a few Tower 28 products, but one that I will keep recommending over and over again is the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray. I will admit that I was skeptical about it at first—I've used other skincare products to reduce redness before. However, this stuff definitely works and helps to reduce redness for hours! I typically spray it on after putting on moisturizer and sunscreen and before any makeup. Definitely would recommend for anyone who has a lot of redness in their skin. So far I've only used a travel size bottle, but I'm planning on getting the larger bottle to refill the travel size with. It does have a bit of a chlorine smell when you first put it on (considering there is hypochlorous acid that makes sense!), but it doesn't linger for too long!

This is one of my new favorite brands. I love the simple products, super cute packaging. And I love supporting this brand after I learned the story of how it was started. I have the lip gloss in spicy. It’s a cool translucent red shade. That’s kind of unique.

I purchased the SOS Spray after hearing rave reviews from a bunch of folks — I haven't actually noticed a difference from using it, but it's the only facial spray I have and I continue to use it because I haven't noticed any downsides. Might work really well for other people, just not me! Love their packaging and branding though! I also got their lip gloss and love it! Really unique shade, not too sticky, lasts a while. No complaints.

This was recommended to me as someone with sensitive skin and rosacea. I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I now use the spray toner, serum, and barrier cream. Not exactly an overnight miracle but the barrier cream was a nice surprise - it feels rich without being greasy or heavy and sits well under a skin tint. Updating this to say that I have now tried the mascara and setting spray and continue to be really impressed by product and price point.

Big fan of the SunnyDays Tinted Sunscreen Foundation. I've been looking for more SPF friendly products and this one fits the bill for me. The color matches my complexion really well, and just a little bit goes a long way to provide even coverage. Goes on smooth with no oily feel. I recently used this last week while I was at a work conference and felt like my coverage and shine stayed in check for the entire day all the way through dinner. I'll be buying this again.

Love the packaging of this brand.

I’ve tried the daily rescue facial spray, as well as the mascara, and I love both the mascara leaves my lashes feeling long and it doesn’t clump. The facial spray adds moisture to my face after cleansing, and it lasts throughout the day.

I bought the SOS daily rescue facial spray, travel size, to bring it with me during flights. I've noticed it has soothe and calmed my sensitive skin. Very easily absorbed, doesn't leave he skin sticky. I'd love this to not be in a plastic container though.

this year i decided to try and streamline my skincare routine to be centered around one go-to brand. after some testing and searching i landed on tower28. it's everything my skin needs: calming, hydrating, not loaded with extra ingredients, not trying to do a million things at once. their line is very focused and simple, which i like. i have a tendency to pick at my skin, so i've found the SOS spray most helpful for that. i also use it after i get out of the shower when my face can feel a little dry and red. it definitely calms things down, but i don't notice a huge whoa effect. want to keep using it more regularly before deciding whether i would rebuy. i'm hooked on the moisturizer. first aid ultra repair in the tub was my daily moisturizer and i still love it but this feels almost just as nourishing without being quite as heavy. it's a little more suited for day to day wear and i think works best with another hydrating serum underneath as it feels like more of a "lock in"/occlusive layer. looking forward to trying their serum next. have also used and loved the concealer, although i prefer saie's (slightly more hydrating).

I bought Tower 28's Kung Fu Panda 4 Set which includes a ShineOn Lip Jelly Non-Sticky Gloss in the color Magic and a BeachPlease Cream Blush in Dumpling Hour (unique to this pack). I've never bought from this company and wanted to try their products in a cost-effective and fun way. The Lip Gloss had an yummy coconut flavor and was soooooo iridescent in the sun. True to its name, it's not sticky at all and is becoming a favorite lippie. Dumpling hour is a radiant, bright red that easily adds color to my face and I am quickly converted to being a blush girlie. The only thing is, Dumpling Hour is an unapologetic red and when I put too much I look bruised. Interesting cream texture as I've only used powder blush, but it was a nice try.

I got the T28 ShineOn lip gloss in shade Coconut and i love it. It has a very subtle pink shade on my lips (olive-neutral skin) and is not very sticky. Something i have noticed though, the smell is not very pleasant but this has to be cause of the natural preservatives in T28 products.

SuperDew is a translucent complexion-boosting highlight balm. No shimmer, no glitter so basically just glass skin!! I’m trying to find subtle makeup products and this literally exactly what I envisioned when I thought of just glass skin without shimmer.

I love the ethos and branding of Tower28, unfortunately I haven't loved every product. I love the SOS spray and was already a user of Hypochlorous Acid and I'm excited to see it entering the mainstream however, there are other Hypochlorous Acid sprays on the market a much lower price point. With the SOS spray, you're paying for the 28 aesthetic. The Sunny Days is unfortunately not a holy grail for me. I purchased shade Fairfax and unfortunately the color shown on the site is soooo much fairer than the actual shade. The models shown wearing Fairfax are far lighter in complexion than me and yet the shade is way too dark on my face. Fairfax in person looks how Melrose looks on the site. I also find it really clings to any dry skin you might have so definitely exfoliate realllyyy well before putting it on. For the pros, I found throughout the day it has a great glow and has a great finish (provided your prep was flawless). I LOVE the lipglosses. They're super hydrating and not sticky. I also would love to try the blushes and bronzers at some point! I appreciate how upfront the brand has been about price increases. A lot of companies have been raising prices in a way that feels a lot more like price gouging and corporate greed than inflation. Tower28 has had minimal price increases and has been super upfront about them which is refreshing.

Tower 28 SOS spray is my holy grail. This spray calms my skins redness and helps heal my breakouts. I find myself reaching for this more than any other spray or toner. I use it night and day before my snail mucin. I really can’t be without it. I have repurchased over 4 times already.

Love the recovery cream. My face has reacted well to its ingredients. Goes on smooth and no scent makes this an amazing face lotion. Their cheek colors are really pigmented and goes on nicely

i absolutely love tower 28! their shine on lip jellies are some of my favorite lip glosses. the colors are just so pretty and the formula is barely sticky at all
