SOS Rescue Spray

  • I kept hearing that Tower 28’s SOS spray was the OG, best one on the market. I’ve tried other hypochlorus acid sprays in the past but didn’t think they did much but dry out my skin. I was willing to buy the real thing and see if I noticed anything different. The main difference with the SOS spray is that it is also formulated to be at a specific pH of 4.5 that is best for the skin. It also doesn’t contain any other ingredients but hypochlorus acid. I was surprised to discover this one doesn’t dry my face out at all, not even using more than once a day or spraying liberally. It’s been helping to speed up some of my really deep cystic acne.

  • LOVE this item. I think its a great post workout, post airplane, post ANYTHING item that refreshes your skin. I initially got the small size to test and then bought the refillable one so I can just refill the small one and I can bring it with me everywhere! Only thing I wish was better was the price!

  • Love this spray, especially to use while traveling and after the gym, when you cannot wash your face yet but still want to feel fresh and clean. I carry a travel size with me almost everywhere. Has no smell and does not burn like other facial sprays. Highly recommend.

  • While I adore most of Tower 28's makeup products, I think the "SOS Rescue Spray" is overhyped. I have the travel size spray bottle so I can keep it in my purse. First of all, the spray sucks compared to other misting sprays. Then the formula itself doesn't seem like anything special. Do I break out? No. Does my skin feel decent afterwards? I guess, though it's hard to tell much difference. As many other reviewers point out online, you buy drugstore hypochlorous acid spray for remarkably less and it does the same thing. I'd honestly skip this one.

  • I love every product from Tower 28! Their rescue spray makes my skin feel so clean and prevents breakouts. I also just started using the Palisades Pink setting powder, and I like how brightening it is without being overwhelmingly pink. The mascara is also a great option for lengthening, and it never flakes off on me!

  • This is my new holy grail skincare. I can't say enough good things about what this does for my redness and inflammation. i wouldn't say I have bad skin to begin with, but I am truly shooketh for what this does for my general red tone. It's hydrating, gentle, and refreshing. I use it as my first step in my skincare routine morning and night. I can't think of a single downside to it. Ordering more ASAP.

  • I’ve seen so many reviews for Tower 28’s SOS Spray, I finally took the plunge and glad I did. I can get redness and generally like to use mineral water sprays to wash away the hard water after washing. I figured this could do that as well as have the added bonus of healing. It does just that. I don’t use it daily, just whenever I’m red, a little rashy, or broken out. In the morning, my skin is calm and clearing. Can’t ask for more than that. I like having this ready to go whenever needed.

  • I am deeply obsessed with the Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray. It’s one of those rare products that I constantly find in my empties and immediately repurchase. Any brand that takes the time to be approved by the National Eczema Association has my full trust—and my money. This spray is a total lifesaver. It’s gentle, effective, and keeps my sensitive skin calm and happy. I especially notice it helps reduce flare-ups around my period and keeps my skin feeling clean, balanced, and clear. An absolute staple in my routine.

  • I love this brand! It’s always tough to find high quality cruelty free make up. The shimmer eyeshadow goes on super smooth and has a beautiful sheen. The tinted spf moisturizer is perfect for the days I have to run out the door and don’t want to show up at work with a completely bare face.

  • I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from Tower 28 so far! I first discovered the brand during a summer trip when a friend let me use her SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray, which helped saved my skin from the "backne" I got from carrying a backpack luggage in the humid heat. It’s been a staple in my bag ever since. ▪️ SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray: Absolutely worth the money!! This has become a hot weather and travel essential for me. It calms my skin, no irritation to my dry, sensitive skin, and doesn’t have a distinctive smell. I use it post-runs and hikes/post-flights/after wearing a mask. Note: I once tried a cheaper dupe to refill it, and it smelled like bleach. Never again! ▪️Cooling Shadow Stick (Roxy): Smoooooth application and once it dries, it stays in place but still looks shiny, glittery, and dewy. Once it sets, this thing does NOT budge, so the chance of glitter fallout is super low. It’s small and a bit pricey for such a tiny thing, but makes a great size for travel. ▪️ SOS Makeup Bag: Love that it's made from recycled materials. The bright color will make it easy to spot in my luggage, and the paracord loop adds convenience so I can hang it wherever I need to. ▪️ SOS Barrier Recovery Cream: I’m still testing this one. I have dry, sensitive skin, and the texture reminds me of the gentle moisturizers I’ve tried from Japanese brands.

  • Tower 28 has a lot of good products, but my favorites are the SOS spray and cream. I always carry a mini SOS spray in my bag with me (acne prone girlies you know) and keep a full size on my counter to spray after cleansing. This has been a game changer in my acne journey

  • I was skeptical at first for the SOS Spray because so many of my friends told me about it but I didn’t believe spray could help me with congested acne skin. I have combo skin but after I work out or am sweating during the day it’s so helpful for me to spray this right after to minimize breakouts.

  • I've been wanting to test out Tower 28 for a while, and it did not disappoint. The tinted SPF has a serum-like consistency and a lot more coverage than I expected. I love it as an everyday skin tint, but it wouldn't be my first sunscreen choice for a day outdoors, as you would really have to layer it on to get the SPF 30 benefits. That said, I love it as a skin tint. It gives the natural finish and coverage of a high-end foundation, while being easy to blend and work with. I don't have much to say about the SOS Daily Rescue Spray because I haven't been testing it long enough to notice a true difference in my skin. However, I love that it comes in a travel size and that the spray has practically no scent, which I've heard is not the case with some hypochlorous acid sprays. The sprayer is pretty basic, meaning it's not a very fine mist, but that's the only thing I could find to complain about.

  • I really like this spray and consider it a must have, especially for traveling. They also offer a convenient mini travel size. I try to use the product on a daily basis, especially in the colder months.

  • i’ve been on a recent gym kick and was trying to figure out why i was breaking out so much on my face and back. turns out since i sweat so much during workouts (and am guilty of not washing my face til i get home and shower) that that was the source so i’ve been using this spray like immediately after ending the workout and try to spray my back as well and it’s been helping immensely. def think it’s a bit overpriced so might try a generic hypochlorous acid and see if it’s the same

  • I really love this brand. Everything I try, I end up loving. I first started with their tinted sunscreen. I love the formulation, only thing is that I wish they had more cool toned shades, but otherwise love it! I love the SOS spray and the pink setting powder!

  • I was initially drawn to Tower 28 because of their incredible packaging—yes, I judged a book by its cover—and I’m so glad I did. Everything I’ve purchased from them has exceeded my expectations. I don’t have any major skin concerns, but the SOS Rescue Spray has become a staple in my routine. I love using it after the gym or while I’m out by the pool on a hot day. I’ve recommended it to many friends because it’s such a versatile and soothing product. The Barrier Recovery Cream also has a wonderful formulation. I was squeezing out the last bits of my previous bottle because I didn’t want to run out. I haven’t tried their cleanser yet, but I’m confident I’ll love it based on the quality of their other products. The LipSoftie shockingly dethroned Rhode as my favorite lip balm. It’s so comfortable and nourishing. I keep one in every bag. The mascara is great, providing nice length and definition; however, I prefer a bit more volume, so hopefully they explore other formulations of it in the future. I own two shades of the BeachPlease Cream Blush because they are so pretty on both cheeks and lips. What I really appreciate about Tower 28 is that all their products are thoughtfully designed with sensitive skin in mind. It’s a brand I trust and will continue to support.

  • I bought the SOS daily rescue facial spray, travel size, to bring it with me during flights. I've noticed it has soothe and calmed my sensitive skin. Very easily absorbed, doesn't leave he skin sticky. I'd love this to not be in a plastic container though.

  • this year i decided to try and streamline my skincare routine to be centered around one go-to brand. after some testing and searching i landed on tower28. it's everything my skin needs: calming, hydrating, not loaded with extra ingredients, not trying to do a million things at once. their line is very focused and simple, which i like. i have a tendency to pick at my skin, so i've found the SOS spray most helpful for that. i also use it after i get out of the shower when my face can feel a little dry and red. it definitely calms things down, but i don't notice a huge whoa effect. want to keep using it more regularly before deciding whether i would rebuy. i'm hooked on the moisturizer. first aid ultra repair in the tub was my daily moisturizer and i still love it but this feels almost just as nourishing without being quite as heavy. it's a little more suited for day to day wear and i think works best with another hydrating serum underneath as it feels like more of a "lock in"/occlusive layer. looking forward to trying their serum next. have also used and loved the concealer, although i prefer saie's (slightly more hydrating).
