  • Thick, hard-to-break bars
  • Irregular, awkward segments
  • Some dark bars overly sweet

Tony’s Chocolonely earns strong reviews for rich, creamy chocolate and inventive flavors like Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Pretzel Toffee, and White Raspberry Popping Candy, while its fair-trade, anti-slavery mission resonates. Reviews also flag drawbacks: bars are very thick with irregular break lines that are hard to portion, some dark varieties run too sweet or chalky, and concerns appear about heavy metals in certain dark bars.

  • This chocolate is thoroughly delicious! I love the size of the chunks, how shiny the bar is, the flavor of the almonds with just a hint of savoriness! So goooood! However, it’s a bit pricey and a tad sweet. Would still buy again, but as an occasional treat.

  • Incredible flavors that are pure luxury and satisfaction every time. Love the mission, what a great company.

  • Great tasting chocolate that’s rich and is made with pure ingredients. I also love the look of the fun packaging.

  • YUM!! I’ve tried a couple different bars and they are really tasty! They also seem to be high quality- I stay away from commercial brands so if I want anything chocolate these are my go-to. They also make mini bars perfect for a sweet treat on the go

  • i constantly think about these chocolate bars and my only gripe is that stores i’ve found them in before have stopped carrying them or won’t have my favorite flavor (caramel sea salt). the bars are huge and while a bit pricey, an amazing chocolate that is hard to not eat all in one go

  • Ethical chocolate just tastes better. This is my go-to chocolate brand. Like we get the advent calendar, and just buy bars on the weekly. My favorite is the toffee flavor.

  • I'm a vegan so I didn't try Tony's myself. However, I did give it to some of my students for the holidays. They absolutely loved it and were quite a fan of the flavor. I particularly appreciate that Tony's is made from slavery-free cocoa farms. It is difficult these days to find ethical chocolate at an affordable price. Tony's delivers.

  • Tony's Chocolonely is an absolute treat! My boyfriend's favorite chocolate, and I have to say, I'm a huge fan of their Salted Caramel flavor. The perfect blend of sweet and salty, with rich, creamy chocolate that just melts in your mouth. Not only is the taste exceptional, but I also appreciate their commitment to ethical chocolate production. It's a guilt-free indulgence in more ways than one. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious, responsibly made chocolate

  • These are so dang yummy, high quality, and has a great supply chain. Highly recommend, great for yourself or as a gift!

  • Big fan of Tony’s. As a genuine choloholic I think it’s now one of the best chocolate available with fairly widespread distribution. The ingredient list is short and high quality (so many commercial chocs no longer even have cocoa butter and have replaced with palm oil). And of course you’re supporting their important mission of pushing the chocolate supply chain to be more fair trade and slave free.

  • Always delicious and far superior to Hersheys.

  • I think this chocolate tastes like dirt and I don’t believe anybody actually likes it, they’re just buying in to the ethical line. I really wanted to like it, my mission is to eventually only buy from B corps and sustainable, fair trade companies, and I was excited about it. And then I hated it.

  • I am not a huge candy lover but this milk chocolate hits the spot once a month and I only crave this one.

  • I'm not a huge milk chocolate fan but Tony's Chocoloney has a great one!

  • I did not expect liking this chocolate. I was doing it because of the fair trade value involved with this company. But I was quite pleased. I also had two equally impressed friends. Keep up the good work, guys.

  • fun packaging, and taste is good but not my favorite as I prefer a thinner chocolate bar.

  • Literally eating one as I type this. Got a bar as a gift on Thanksgiving and it's so smooth. Can't wait to try more flavors!

  • Legit the best candy bar ever. Salty and sweet, perfect texture.
