Tate’s Bake Shop earns glowing reviews for thin, crisp, buttery cookies—especially the classic and gluten-free chocolate chip—which many call the best store-bought option, close to homemade. Reviews also flag clear drawbacks: the cookies are very crunchy (divisive for chewy-cookie fans), sometimes too sweet or oily, crumbly, go stale quickly in the bag, and feel sparse per package.

"Betcha can't eat just one" but for cookies! If you like a crunchy, crispy, buttery cookie - Tate's is for you. The gooey, chewy, levain-esq cookie is one one end of the spectrum, and this is on the other. Delicious. Tasty. Rich. The only pre made cookie I buy.
Very moist cookies
They’re gluten-free cookies are out of this world
Tate's was one of the first brands to have a decent gluten free option of cookies and even though I sometimes wish they would have a chewier version available, the crispy cookies are always a delight. They have the perfect crunch
My family is a Tate's family. We keep multiple packages on hand at all times. It's really about that crunch and the chocolate chip ratio is just right. I'm not sure why they're so addictive but they are.
My kids love these they're one of their favorite cookies the eat them all the time and they're affordable as well as delicious
I’m definitely in the minority when I say I don’t like these. I don’t mind a cookie with some crunch, but these are just too hard. I haven’g tried all of the flavors, but the ones I have had have been unremarkable. I’ve had better tasting cookies that have cost far less.

It's not my favorite texture but these are a great option for a classic cookie that's also gluten-free!
I absolutely love Tate's Bake Shop Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are thin and crispy and full of flavor. They are very different from other prepackaged cookies on the market, which makes them incredibly unique.

Best gluten-free cookies out there! Wish they made dairy free or vegan options though!
Thin, crisp chocolate chip cookies that taste- well- better than your average store bought cookie!
I'm the type of person who loves a crunchy cookie over the soft middle, so Tate's are perfect for me! I'm deducting a star because I know that this isn't for everyone. I am also gluten-free, and love that they have an expansive line specifically for this audience. Also, when I open one of these bags it upsets me how much plastic packaging is used. There's like two or three plastic trays and each of the trays is also wrapped in a cellophane bag. I really wish they could update this to be less wasteful!
I love Tate's- atypical to your classic soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie, they have a crunchy and caramelized taste to them. Worth a try for sure. I also really enjoy the cute green bag pacakaging
Love these cookies! They're my favorite chocolate chip cookie from the grocery store, and the texture is wonderful (for both the gluten and gluten-free). Only negative is that there aren't enough cookies per bag!
I LOVE Tate's. I will say that my favorite are just the basic chocolate chip cookie. Anyway, these are thin and crunchy, so if you're a chewy cookie fan, I dont know if you'll feel the same. I say that due to the thin nature and crunch of the cookie, it's easy to eat a significant portion of the bag without even realizing. I also say that the gluten free and vegan options are also great, even if you aren't vegan or gluten free. In short, these cookies are great, eat them with some ice cream for a bonus delicious treat.
really good vegan cookies !
I bought a bag of the chocolate chip cookies on a whim and they are absolutely delicious. Great flavor, great texture. They're dangerous. You'll want to eat the whole bag in one sitting.
the best!
