Tarte earns strong reviews for working products—particularly Shape Tape concealers, Amazonian Clay blushes, and multiple mascaras that deliver length, hold, and easy removal—while criticisms target outdated-feeling formulas, tricky shade matching, and occasional heaviness or creasing. Reviews of Tarte also flag inconsistent hits (some eyeshadows and setting sprays underwhelm) but praise long wear, comfortable textures, and standout items like tubing mascara, Juicy Lip Plump, and Maracuja-based tints and hydrators.

I love this tubing mascara ! I think it’s one of the only mascaras that really makes my lashes feel long and pop! It holds all day and is easy to take off at the end of the night as well. I repurchase this over and over

Wow. I just purchased the coolest skincare product tarte cosmetics has ever launched. Today I wore it under my makeup and it gave me the most effortless glowy dewy makeup look. I also attended Sephoria today and so many people complimented me on how gorgeous my skin and makeup looked. This product gave the most perfect makeup base I have ever seen.

Finding a blush that doesn't look like clown makeup on very pale skin can be a serious challenge, but Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade paaarty is an absolute staple in my makeup bag. In the pan, it looks like a somewhat muted, dusty rose, but on pale skin, it goes on as a gorgeous, natural-looking flush that strikes the perfect balance between nude, pink, and mauve.

It’s very creamy and you have to shade match correctly because it is very high pigment. One bad thing about it is the creases it settles into particularly into the eye area but it’s reliable when it comes to skin coverage.

The Tarte setting spray is honestly so good. A few spritzes and it instantly gives your skin that fresh, glowing finish without looking oily or heavy. It just melts everything together in the best way. What I really love is that it doesn’t feel sticky at all - no weird residue, no tightness, just lightweight comfort. It keeps makeup looking smooth while still feeling like your skin can breathe. Definitely a staple I’d recommend.

I love this lip plump! It gives a nice minimal plump and doesn’t have a bad burning sensation. I don’t know the shade but it’s a beautiful mauvy color that is fairly pigmented. The clicker is a nice touch to bring out more product.

I tried this in the shade Hibiscus and it’s a lot darker than I expected so I’m kind of meh about it. I’m kind of disappointed in how goopy the formula is, it’s almost way too liquid-y which makes it look messy. I know that it’s a vinyl and it’s supposed to be with the “wet effect” but it bothers me that it doesn’t feel like it ever dries down. I don’t completely hate it because it’s an interesting concept but I don’t think it’s completely worth the hype or full price.

I like the brand generally, however I do hold the belief that they have been at a lack of technological advance in terms of formulation when it comes to their products. Yes, they’re classics but the products don’t deliver as well as other newer ones may do.

The juicy lip plump is my favorite lip product right now. I love the shade options, and the clickable pen makes it easy to apply. The minty flavor adds tingle and the gloss adds shine, so overall my lips do look much plumper. I haven't been impressed with Tarte's other products, but the lip plump is a must for me.

What can I say, I love their stuff. Particularly the eye makeup. The mascara is my fav and the only one I will wear. It's one of the few designer brands that does not irritate my skin but still give that big lash effect.

I’ve been using the Tarte tubing mascara for about two years now, and I love how much length it adds along with how easy it is to take off. I’ve always had issues with ending up with mascara remnants under my eye, and this mascara doesn’t leave those marks.

I’ve been using Tarte make up for years now. They’re really fun and the pigment is great. I’ve ordered from their website and purchased in person and it’s all been quality products. The Sea Glass liquid eye shadow is one of my favorites because it goes on sparkly and stays all day.

Tarte products are such great quality! I absolutely love their blushes, concealers, and lip products. Their mascaras and eye shadows are also amazing! They're well worth the hype they get on social media.

I tried the tarte concealer based on a recommendation from my sister. I have dark circles and have had trouble finding the perfect concealer for me. This one works well and has a creamy consistency. I’m not sure if it’s worth the money though as there’s no wow factor.

Over the years I have used and loved TARTE products. I especially love their holiday special boxed gift set that comes with eyeshadow, highlighter, blush, eyeliner and mascara. I also enjoy using the EYELASH CURLER that comes with a mini of their mascara. I love all their products that I gave tried but I especially love their mini which are fantastic for travel! I really love their mini blushes, since I don't use blush often, it's a perfect size.

THE COMPANY THAT STARTED MY LOVE FOR MAKEUP. Amazing company, with amazing effective products. I would highly recommend. LOVE LOVE LOVE Follow my tiktok @maddiediaries to see me try out this products and more like it.

Surfer girl mascara - I like tarte mascara. I liked the surfer curl volumizing. It separated and volumized my eyelashes. I'm not to sure about the curl, i don't really focus on that aspect of it. I like the color. I don't care for the brush, it's too big making it hard to reach tiny hairs. Smooth operator Amazonian clay tinted pressed finishing powder - I was so disappointed with this pressed powder. I bought the translucent one. The reason I bought it was because I was looking for a face powder to mattify my face and really like the tarte brand. I decided to get pressed powder because I already tried the loose powder and it was a little messy, so I thought I'd try pressed and that is what the sales girl recommended. When first applied it did nothing, so I tried more product, then it left white powder on my nose, since that's where I need it the most. The white would be fine if it blended in and mattified my nose, but it was still shiny. I think it makes it look even shinier. It cames with a little flat brush, it didn't hold any powder. So I tried I little compact pad. That worked but you have to be careful about how much you put on it, it will definitely go on white. I usually use the pad and then use a brush to blend or just the brush. Since it doesn't work as a mattifier I'll just use it as the finishing powder.

I really love the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara because it gives my lashes a naturally thick and long look without clumping. The formula is lightweight and perfect for contact lens wearers, plus it stays put all day without flaking. Honestly, it’s one of the best mascaras I’ve used in a long time.

I absolutely love Tarte! The face makeup, such as bronzer and blush, are easily my favorite. It's always so soft and stays put. I just got some lip balm, and it's amazing too. Good color and doesn't dry my lips out at all.

Tarte’s tubing mascara has been a saving grace. I have sensitive eyes and often find when i use regular mascara taking it off causes my eyes to get extremely irritated and sensitive. Being able to use just water to remove the tubing mascara is amazing!
