Tarte is a beloved brand, praised for its long-lasting blush, high-quality concealers, and innovative products such as the Shape Tape range, lip and cheek tints, and maracuja tinted hydrator. Fans also appreciate the brand's commitment to vegan products. However, some customers feel the quality has declined over time, with occasional misses in their product line. The large brush in their mascara and the failure of their pressed powder to effectively mattify were also noted as weaknesses.

Surfer girl mascara - I like tarte mascara. I liked the surfer curl volumizing. It separated and volumized my eyelashes. I'm not to sure about the curl, i don't really focus on that aspect of it. I like the color. I don't care for the brush, it's too big making it hard to reach tiny hairs.

Smooth operator Amazonian clay tinted pressed finishing powder - I was so disappointed with this pressed powder. I bought the translucent one. The reason I bought it was because I was looking for a face powder to mattify my face and really like the tarte brand. I decided to get pressed powder because I already tried the loose powder and it was a little messy, so I thought I'd try pressed and that is what the sales girl recommended. When first applied it did nothing, so I tried more product, then it left white powder on my nose, since that's where I need it the most. The white would be fine if it blended in and mattified my nose, but it was still shiny. I think it makes it look even shinier. It cames with a little flat brush, it didn't hold any powder. So I tried I little compact pad. That worked but you have to be careful about how much you put on it, it will definitely go on white. I usually use the pad and then use a brush to blend or just the brush. Since it doesn't work as a mattifier I'll just use it as the finishing powder.

I tried a mascara that didn't make a noticeable difference, but I'll cut them some slack because my eyelashes are short anyway. I also tried a foundation that has a pretty finish, but it doesn't work for me as a foundation. Funnily enough, I actually use it as a bronzer and it blends in beautifully with my complexion products from other brands.

I grew up using tarte, it is a trustworthy brand that makes quality products and versatile makeup products. definitely worth the price, they never disappoint!

Tarte's Shape Tape concealer is a nice quality vegan product with good coverage. 

I’m glad I tried this in store because it was a little tricky to match my tone, but once we got that figured out it was green light GO I love these products! 

Tarte’s primer is one of my favorite products. It adds a nice blur and glow and looks beautiful under tinted moisturizer or foundation.

Great products. A classic I used when I was first getting into makeup and still am loyal to shape tape for ever!
