  • Clean, well-organized store environments
  • Convenient drive-up pickup service
  • Stylish, reliable house brands
  • Engaging designer collaborations lineup

  • Inconsistent clothing quality and sizing
  • Basic, underwhelming grocery selection

Target earns largely positive reviews for being a polished one-stop shop that delivers strong in-store experiences, convenient Drive Up/pickup, and dependable house brands—yet reviewers flag frequent out-of-stocks, rising prices, uneven clothing quality/fit, and a mediocre grocery/electronics selection. Reviews portray Target as good for variety and discovery, but inconsistent inventory and quality concerns, plus mixed views on inclusivity and DEI shifts, temper enthusiasm.

  • Target's decision to reduce its DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives is raising critical concerns. While some may view this move as a necessary step toward accountability, it risks undermining the significant progress achieved in creating an inclusive workplace. Scaling back these efforts threatens to stall momentum and diminish the company's commitment to diversity. It is imperative that any effective DEI strategy remains robust and unwavering in its goals. Target must articulate its intentions clearly and demonstrate that success extends beyond mere numbers. The potential consequences of this decision are substantial, and the company must tread carefully to maintain its reputation and responsibility in fostering a truly inclusive environment.

  • They typically stock everything I need. The quality of their clothes has gone up and I have found some great staples that have lasted a while.

  • Target is amazing. 10/10 compared to other mass retailers, it has most of what you need and good promotions. It’s not by any means perfect and has a lot of flaws, but it’s one of the best stores for couponers because it allows price matching. If they get rid of that it would knock down to a 3/5 because their prices are high and their stock not as plentiful as Walmart.

  • My go to store. They have everything !! I love pick up and ordering on the app. So easy!

  • Target is such a household name that I'm not sure why it needs a review. I appreciate the role it plays in mass market shopping, not the discount store that Dollar General is nor the hulking labyrinth Walmart has become. Target is a comfortable shopping experience that has mid-quality products at an affordable price.

  • Tried and true, it’s Target! Their branding, store layout, and design is genius. It’s an actual trap, there’s a Starbucks in there! Don’t even get me started on the fact that you can now add a Starbucks drink to your drive up order. And it is FAST. I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than 5 mins from parking to loading and leaving.

  • Love Target for the most part. If you shop their sales, gift card offers and circle offers, you can get decent deals. Downside is that you can’t use paper coupons here for the most part - their registers reject most of them and they won’t override. Additionally, their app isn’t always reliable for “in stock” information for their stores.

  • Great product assortment, fast shipping, excellent customer service and pricing.

  • What’s NOT to love about this store? So many cool and unique things. Their house brand of products is pretty great too. Especially their groceries. I’m lucky enough to have regular locations and Super Targets so those are definitely a plus.

  • I love Target. I can get all my essentials in one place and good quality items. Even the target brands are phenomenal and they are preferable to brand name at times. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well!

  • Target is my favorite place to shop. The red card is great. There is always a great selection to choose from whether you want clothes, groceries or household products. The target circle is great too especially since it's free!

  • Love target! The only downside is that I always buy more than I expect to. Love their pricing and how you can get everything in one place! Also, always great deals on the app.

  • Love target but it’s become overly expensive for a pharmacy/ grocery store.

  • While Target Canada was a bit of a bust, my love for Target still knows no bounds. Great variety of products, good quality house brands, and an impressive range of sizes (assuming things are in stock). I regularly make trips across the boarder just to stock up on their basics, snacks, and housewares - my most recent trip included three tshirts, a pair of jeans, Good Day sour gummy worms, and flannel sheets. One star off for the chaotic messiness of the change rooms at some of the stores and the replacement of the Target restaurant with Starbucks. What I would give to shop with a blue raspberry slushie and cinnamon sugar pretzel again.

  • Target has always remained my favorite Big Box store. Shopping there has always been a joy as opposed to a chore, due in part to consistent store layout and exciting new products. From clothing to protein powders to home decor, Target always seems to have items that I cannot find anywhere else. Customer service has always been great when ordering online, and the cashiers friendly.

  • I freaking love TARGET!!! Who doesn’t? Everything you want and need in one glorious building. Need I say more?
