Supergoop! impresses in reviews for comfortable, makeup-friendly SPFs—Unseen Sunscreen glides on clear and doubles as a primer, and Glow Screen delivers a luminous tint—while many note strong protection without white cast across skin tones. The reviews also flag drawbacks: some formulas feel oily or pill, a few cause breakouts or eye sting, shades/skintone match can miss, and several cite separation, packaging quirks, and consistently high prices.

  • Love these products! Work well and nice smell! Unseen sunscreen in my favorite but I also love (re)setting spray!! I keep the small one in my purse at all times during the summer months. The best!!!!!!

  • One of the best sunscreens. I love the packaging and size, making it easy to travel with. The lack of white cast is great, allowing you to lather on sunscreen without looking like a snowman. The sunscreen goes on very smoothly and has a nice feeling on the skin. Makes doing an everyday task feel a bit luxurious and adds a pop of color to one's bag.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE the Unseen Sunscreen. Absolute gamechanger in the SPF world, the texture is so nice, no white cast or residue left on the skin, it feels really soft when applying and just glides on without having to rub in. Has also caused NO pilling from my makeup or other skincare products which is ideal. Vegan, reef-friendly (keen surfer so this is important to me) & no synthetic smell. It's on the pricier side, but well-worth it.

  • I love the Shimmershade from Supergoop! It's SPF that isn't boring. Most days I wear it alone as eye shadow. I pair the daydream with eyeliner and that's my look. It dries nicely and can also be used as a base with another color on top. I just finished my 2nd tub and ordering a 3rd once I'm done.

The only thing I would change is that the product can dry out if you don't close it tight. Also, when you press down on the shadow, it compacts so at the very end, the product is not as light and creamy as when you first open the box.

  • I love literally everything about Supergoop! The branding, their mission, and the way they tell their story through social content. Plus the hundreds of different ways to apply sunscreen, whether through a balm, a cream, or an oil – Supergoop makes it easy to incorporate sunscreen into your daily routine. When I first started purchasing from them they didn't have many mineral options but now they've expanded a whole line of mineral sunscreens so needless to say I'm a big fan!

  • Supergoop is my favorite sunscreen brand. Their products are consistently great for my acne-prone, dehydrated skin. The sun protection is excellent, I have never once gotten sunburned while using their products, even when i've forgotten to reapply. Given the consistency and efficacy of their products, the only decision you have to make is what finish you want for your skin.

The size of the face sunscreens is small for the cost.

  • I use the Supergoop Play sunscreen for all prolonged outdoor activities and it's fantastic. It's thick, but it smells really good and fully rubs in without leaving any white cast. I got it in the 18-oz. pump container and it's lasted forever even with constant use.

  • I recently got the Glow Screen and I love it! It's lightweight, very slightly tinted, and has the perfect amount of shimmer to make my skin really nice and dewy. I haven't tried any of their other products yet but I definitely would.

It's pricey for the amount you get (I use it everyday so it's already running low) and I'm just not sure it's amazing enough compared to other brands for me to keep repurchasing, but I do like it so far and love that it's SPF 40+.

  • I'm giving super goop products a five-star rating because I learned that they I have added new products that satisfy the issues I found with the two supergoop sunscreens I have purchased in the past. I originally switched over because I wanted to find protection that had clean ingredients and surprisingly it's much harder to find than one would think. I found that super goop had less toxicity than the acure brand I used to buy at whole foods regularly. Super goop is also a lot pricier however I understand why. I was in particular looking for a product with zinc and that's what I got I used both the play spray with mineral and the cream with mineral and that mineral was a bit of a hassle. If you are a planner and preparer I would definitely recommend the mineral sunscreens as they really do offer a strong barrier of protection for the skin but blending it in without a white cast residue left behind is a challenge. Since I procrastinate I've always had to apply it at the beach or pool upon arrival and then visit the locker rooms if I'm going solo to ensure I've rubbed in all the white otherwise whoever's with me is put to work as we try to get the sunscreen absorbed without the ghostly white film. One summer when I was working at camp I had very little time and slapped this on hurriedly, the kids got a kick out of it they thought I was dressing up as a ghost for the day. I had not seen my reflection until after. The crazy thing is that it didn't all come out in the shower like it took a couple days but it got less pronounced. Anyway I'm still giving them five stars because I found on their website sheer options, matte, and more, to satisfy diverse consumers. I do recommend the spray over the cream just based on my experience with the minerals it's easier to rub in but I will definitely be trying their invisible items. Also the option not to have a fragrance is so appreciated, thank you super goop!

  • I love love love this sunscreen. I use this everyday. It's light and wears very well under makeup as it blends easily. It is not greasy and you don't have the white cast that many other sunscreens leave. But what makes this an absolute win in my book, is that I have relatively sensitive skin and it does not irritate my skin at all. It can be a little pricey but it is definitely worth the money!

  • *This review is only regarding Supergoop's Unseen Sunscreen* I wanted to love it, it seemed so promising on paper, but it simply didn't work for my skin. It feels like vaseline, it simply sits on my skin, it pills, it's thick and "goopy." I would stay away from this specific product if you have skin on the drier side.

  • I've used other Supergoop products that I liked, but this is a review specifically for the Glow Screen. I have to say that I was a bit surprised by how much glow this product gives you. It's great that it's a moisturizer with SPF AND glow, but it was honestly too much shine for me. I looked like a dewy robot if that makes any sense? I ended up returning it, but Supergoop let me keep it while also giving me a refund. I was very grateful for their kind customer support, so I know I'll be returning to try other products.

I think this product would be great if you're someone who uses foundation because it would create a more natural glow underneath the coverage. It was just too much on my bare face. I guess it could be used as highlighter!

  • Super bad ingredients for your skin. One of the ingredients called Octocrylene which is super Hazardous for your skin.

Use Less harmful ingredients. Try the FORCE SHIELD SUPER-light SUNSCREEN by Hero.

  • Love their Unseen Sunscreen, even after all these years. Great under makeup, perfect silicone-y texture which is hard to pull off, and the packaging makes it pop inside your bag. Don't love the price tag though.

  • I've tried several of the Supergoop face sunscreen products and they are my absolutely go to every morning in my daily routine. I've tried the Daily Dose Vitamin C + SPF 40 Serum and the Unseen Screen. My favorite is the Unseen Screen as it's clear and feels so good on the skin where as The Daily Dose leaves my face feeling a little more oily. I carry around the travel size in my purse everyday and have the full sized one in my make up drawer, you can't go wrong with any of their products!

  • Packaging is great, I found that I still burned pretty easily compared to other sunscreens! I don’t think they are truly reef safe either which is a big thing for me.

  • I have lived too king without trying supergoop so one day I went and splurged on the CC SCREEN tinted sunscreen 😍 I do not regret my choice! The cream was so smooth and made my skin look like a filter 💫

I would love to see more shade ranges.

  • I love using Unseen Sunscreen on its own or as a base layer before applying my makeup on my face + neck. It's got a smooth matte finish and doesn't feel or look greasy! For the sunny Texas days, I use the Glow Oil on my extremities to give my arms and legs a nice glow too. I just picked up the City Screen and look forward to trying that! I love that you can get mini travel sizes of these too so I don't lug a big bottle around.

  • I decided to try out a small Supergoop Glow Screen tube using my Sephora rewards points. I assumed Supergoop was like many of the "trendy" brands nowadays—overhyped and overpriced, with a highly-compensated marketing team to work on cute branding (since what are social media recommendations anymore but "aesthetic" skincare?). I was pleasantly surprised. I still think this brand is overpriced, especially for sunscreen, but if I'm not wearing makeup, Glow Screen is the way to go. It's non-greasy, and leaves my skin with a shine that seems to even my skin tone out and make my blemishes less noticeable. Bronze glow is perfect, and despite its color, doesn't stain my clothes or fingers if I'm running out the door and can't wash my hands after applying. I feel more confident with it on my face and it also works as a glowy base for makeup since I don't use foundation. Ultimately and unfortunately, I do think I will be spending the $40 to purchase a full-size tube of this when I run out of my trial size one.

  • I have tried several supergoop products. The best product its the unseen sunscreen. It feels good on the skin, it leaves no residue. It does feel a bit more oily than other products, but works well to protect against the sun. I recently got the Poof Mineral Part Powder as well. This product is great along hairlines (and areas of thinning hair). It is a great solution to adding liquid/cream sunscreens along your hair. The only downside of the product is the price point -- it is higher than others. You pay for quality.
