SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

Maybe this raging five stars will drop when the world catches up with SmartSweets. For now: I'm just so happy to be able to buy a thing without cane sugar that feels like the happy lie I want it to. Lets me indulge without sending my gut *isssssues* into a tizzy. Yay! Thank you, SmartSweets fam!! 🫶
Really good, love the peach rings. Find they are very chewy and get stuck in your teeth more than regular candy.
Mimics nostalgic flavors of candy. My favorite is the Swedish fish. Don’t expect it to be a perfect match though
I'm on the fence about these. I like the gummy worms and the sour kids but the peach rings and watermelon gummies are SUPER chewy and sticky.
the gummy bears were so sticky when chewing them. They get stuck in your teeth.
When these first came out, they were a unique product on the market. Now it seems like the quality has decreased and the gummies are harder to chew. In addition a few competitors have come on the market that do a better job of balancing sugar content with taste.
These sweets are great in theory. The packaging is beautiful but they lack flavor like standard gummies which I’m looking for alternatives for.
I love that they're vegan but the flavors taste nothing like they say and it has a weird aftertaste
Tried the peach rings, sweet fish and sour melon bites from Target. Unfortunately, I'd probably not get them again. The texture was very hard, chewy and just sticks to your teeth. Points for being plant-based with no artificial sweeteners and low sugar.
I don't get the appeal here. These weren't tasty to me at all. I like that the option exists but I didn't feel satisfied at all and just didn't enjoy the heavy texture. I hope they can come out with some better formulas as I'm all for a range of options in treats!
Love the idea, packaging, branding etc but flavor could be better.
Love these as an alternative to the traditional versions. I’ve tried mostly everything and the only common issue is they all get stuck in my teeth. Other than that I love them!

I grab these every time I go to Walmart and everytime I curse the money I'm about to spend. Why can't I just not be bougie and grab Swedish Fish?! Anyway, I'm obsessed with these and they don't sacrifice flavor or taste weird. Occasionally there seems to be some quality control issues and the gummy worms are rocks, but mostly that's not the case.
Tasty and guilt free sweetness for all my fellow sweet tooth’s out there! It definitely brings back childhood memories but with a healthier touch to it!
These candies are my go-to when I'm craving sugar but still want something good for me. They hit the spot!
I love Smart Sweets! My favorites are the peach rings, sour patch kids swap and the sweedish fish. More than not, I grab for two bags - they're delicious and a great low sugar swap.
These are very addicting. They’re not a perfect replica of the real thing but they’re tasty in their own way. They’re a tad pricey but we’ll worth it!
Ok, so these are great.... no question about that. But I think part of it is also just portion control; there are small quantities for high prices. I guess its just whatever suits you but they do taste great. Pretty readily available in my area at least.
Make sure you get this from Whole Foods (look it up, they sell a diff recipe at places like Target!) This candy is so good. It tastes just as good, if not better, than "regular" candy. In fact, it tastes better! And there's no weird texture or oddness that a lot of sugar-free brands have.
I love the branding and wanted to love the product so much, but the fake sugar taste was too much for me to look past. In this case, if you're wanting to eat sour gummy worms, just get the real sour gummy worms.
