Reviews mention

  • Bold, candy-like flavors
  • Noticeable post-workout hydration
  • Attractive, eye-catching packaging
  • Electrolyte-rich coconut water base
  • Overly sweet flavor profile
  • Artificial, powdery aftertaste
  • Inconsistent flavor quality
  • Less refreshing when warm

Prime earns mixed reviews: many find the hydration drinks effective after workouts and appreciate bold flavors like Ice Pop, Meta Moon, Blue Raspberry, and Strawberry Watermelon, while others say the brand is overrated, overly sweet, and sometimes leaves a weird or artificial aftertaste. Reviews also note strong flavor intensity and attractive packaging as positives, but call out cloying sweetness, inconsistent taste across flavors, and confusion between hydration and higher-caffeine options as key drawbacks.

  • Was really desperate for caffeine and it was the only energy drink available at the corner store…. It’s an energy drink for middle schoolers (evident by their spokesmen and branding!) Really nothing special and the taste left a lot to be desired. Better off with redbull

  • I've only tried the Ice Pop flavour, it was sweet but not too overpoweringly sweet. Wouldn't be my first choice of drink, but it was nice for a non-fizzy hydration boost.

  • Toooo sweet! Geared towards kids who really don’t need energy drinks or sugar

  • It's ok, not worth the hype. The taste is just ok. Nothing special.

  • I heard prime was all the rage so I went and bought some in store. I honestly didn’t like it very much. I was pretty sugary and goopy.

  • I just started drinking Prime a few weeks ago. I find them incredibly hydrating - typically after a long work out or for hangovers. They are extremely flavorful. The ice pop reminds me of childhood. Overall I really like all the flavors I've tried, though I do think if it gets warm, it's not as enjoyable as it being icy cold.

  • I got the bomb pop prime. It tastes good, but has the after taste of energy drinks. I personally don’t like the aftertaste. I paid $60 for a case to be shipped because of all the hype… months later I have almost a whole case just sitting. So obviously some people like it, it just isn’t for me.

  • I loved prime! I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did as hydration drinks tend to be icky flavor wise. But I purchased their powders and I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor! I have to admit I probably diluted them way more than what the label said to do...but no icky flavor and that is hard to find. Also - when drinking it I did notice a difference in my body, I had it continuously for a month and I did notice my hydration levels being where they needed to be.

  • The hydration drinks amd energy drinks have great flavors and are a change from normal drinks like Gatorade.

  • I hate to admit it but Logan Paul is a marketing genius. The product is fine, the flavors are fine, but I am more impressed by how 2 youtubers broke into the notoriously overcrowded drink space.

  • My boyfriend is a fan of both KSI and Logan Paul but since its release, it has been almost impossible to get these products without paying an extremely high markup from predatory vendors in the UK (I personally saw it be sold at a convenience shop for 10 pounds). Since I live in the US, I got him all the flavors in powder form from Walmart and brought it to him in the UK -- stoked as he was to try it and share it with me, I have to say it's pretty cloying, and artificial like children's liquid medicine. I was hoping it might just be the way we mixed it but my boyfriend got lucky and found a regular priced bottle at a Sainsbury's store in Cambridge (I think) and unfortunately, even that had the same overly sweet and artificial taste.

  • Prime was really hydrating, had great flavour and enjoyed the coconut water! Would purchase again.

  • After much trepidation I decided to give these a try. I had to purchase them for the 17 stores I oversee and thought I could market them better if I tasted them. I have tasted most of the flavors and found the flavors to be tasty; however, I am not a fan of the sweetness, and it is a little pricey. To be honest if I probably would never personally purchase one for myself ...... I really did not feel well after drinking a whole botltle.

  • Despite branding that might suggest otherwise, the ingredients behind it are actually not bad. As far as the 3 main electrolytes go (potassium, magnesium, sodium) it has decent amounts of potassium. Sodium and Magnesium quantities are low however so if you're looking replenish the latter, you're better off with another electrolyte-based beverage. In Canada, Organika electrolytes does a good job. In the US, LMNT is a better formulation. The main thing PRIME has going for it is taste. I tried them all and Red and Blue are my favorites. Nice clean taste, with no sour aftertaste like Gatorade. Cheers!

  • What can I say.... my kids are constantly bugging me for PRIME! Brand came out of nowhere and seems to just be growing and multiplying. Aside from the excessive cost (which I think is more about retailers taking advantage than anything else) but it is a solid product.

  • My husband and I purchased a 3-flavour variety pack and overall were quite pleased! The only one I didn't care for much was the lemon-lime flavour, as it was quite tart. Cool packaging!

  • the taste of these is WEIRD. pretty pedialyte adjacent and very sweet. i have bought it in a pinch but dilute it to half concentration with water.

  • Is it over priced? Yes! Is it better than other sports drinks? Yes! AND it has BCAAs (branched-chain amino acid) to better aid in muscle recovers. The sugar content isn’t too high either. I personally am not a fan of the taste except for the LEMONADE. Hands down the best flavor out there!
