Phlur earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its fragrances smell clean, cozy, and distinctive—standouts include Missing Person, Vanilla Skin, Heavy Cream, Tangerine Boy, Father Figure, Ameline, and Sandara—yet longevity and occasional artificial or overly sweet notes draw criticism. Reviews praise sleek, weighted packaging and easy layering, but cite reformulation concerns post-acquisition, variable sillage (especially body mists and some perfumes), and polarizing scents like Beach Skin and Not Your Baby.

Lovely packaging and unboxing experience. Very modern feeling and streamlined. Scents seemed true to online descriptions.

I only tried the perfume, several of the testers. I don't really like fragrance, but I keep thinking maybe there will be a scent out there that changes my mind. These did not change my mind, but I thought they were very fresh and I am glad I tried the samples for a small variety.
This scent became a tiktok 'scentsation', and I had to give it a try. The Heavy Cream smells delicious, if a little sweet, but it's a perfect compliment to the Vanilla Skin fragrance.
I recently bought the Vanilla Skin body mist. I really enjoy the scent. However, people advertised it as being super long lasting, making buying the perfume unecessary. However, it does not actually last that long. I recently bought and returned the "Not Your Baby" scent and I really wanted to love it, but it smells like baby powder.
i love this smell very deep and warm and unique I love this scent - the bottle is luxe

They all smell so clean and fresh!!
Rather than perfume, I tried body wash from Phlur in the scents Sandara and Olmsted & Vaux. The consistency of the body wash was much runnier than I expected. I felt like I used a lot more product each time given how runny the body washes were, but they also lasted me a surprisingly long time. I usually prefer a slightly unisex scent, but the scents themselves felt overwhelming floral to me in spite of notes like “oakmoss, cedar, amber.”

For the consistency of the body wash, a different bottle design might help with the fast flow. Otherwise, the scents are probably fine, just not for me.
I ordered a sample pack and enjoyed every single scent. Some were not "me" but were really nice nonetheless. My favorite was Ameline and Moab. The packaging is lovely.
I love all the scents I've bought from Phlur. They are cool girl-esque and I love that they're made with clean ingredients. My only gripe is that I'm unsure of their lasting power.
I purchased the scent Sakura and was pleasantly surprised. I was unfamiliar with the brand, so I got a travel size to test. The scent is unique and fresh, without being overpowering. The packaging is so nice- very weighted and sleek. I would be interested to try more scents from Phlur!
I didn't expect to like the scents as much as I did. I'm always a little wary of viral, influencer-led brands and I'm a highly skeptical person, but one of these scents are now in my permanent rotation. They are a little pricey, but the bottle feels really nice (a nice lil magnet experience) and the fragrance has pretty good longevity.

I discovered this brand on TikTok and wanted to try it due to the positive reviews this brand was receiving. I wanted a fun scent for summer and chose to purchase a travel size Apricot Privée to try our the brand. I really like the scent and find its a perfect fruity summer scent.

If you are sensitive to fragrance I recommend trialing sample sizes first as I did have a mild allergic reaction to this scent (stuffy nose and sneezing)
I tried the Missing Persons perfume and loveee the scent, very unique.

I'm incredibly saddened that Phlur was purchased. It's nothing like how it was previously. I ADORED their marketing, scents and incredible sales. There set up was very similar to one of my favorite French perfumeries were they took the time to really explain the ingredients, the inspiration and the perfumers behind each scent. It wasn't just a product but an experience purchasing from Phlur. Now they've taken away some of the best scents and they don't seem to have individual perfumers as they did previously. Who knows if the original scents they have retained are going to be held to the same quality with the new owners. Phlur has been cheapened with cheesy teen-looking (and smelling) scents that just seems run-of-the-mill and overpriced for what they're offering. The Memorial "sale" is a joke. Free shipping? Wow, what a steal. In the past, they offered 50% off full-size items. What used to be my favorite perfume company is now a massive disappointment all around.
