Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

I don't have the bike but I subscribe to the app for 14$ a month. I love it, and think it's totally worth it! I hate going to the gym, so it's really nice to be able to fit in a class whenever I can throughout my day. I take 3-4 strength classes a week and I love the instructors! The app itself is also really cool, it keeps track of which muscles you have focused on so you can know which body parts need to be activated. They also have a variety of classes you can choose from: strength, cycling, stretching, meditation, yoga, running, walking, cardio, and bootcamps! #callieskillacrew
I tried this out, but could not see the benefit. If you lack motivation when working out, then this is probably for you if you can afford it. However, this is definitely a luxury item. Not only do you have to buy the peloton itself, which is very expensive, you have to purchase a subscription. Without the subscription, it's a basic exercise bike that is overly priced. Again, if you lack motivation and you have so much money that you use it as toilet paper, then this is for you. I would rather find other ways of motivating myself, and save my money.

Cheaper subscriptions, or ad-based free subscriptions.
I use the app nearly every day and the bike whenever I get the chance. I love the large selection of classes and the instructors are motivating. It is easy to fit a workout in by selecting a short class.

the bike is AMAZING! Also all of the classes on the app are great and easy to use when not by a bike.

Sturdier water bottle holders
I bought my peloton at the beginning of the pandemic and still use it almost every day. The quality of the content is amazing and despite bad press recently, I thoroughly enjoy taking all of the classes. Instructors are awesome, especially some of the newer ones like Callie!

I have an emotional connection to this bike. I love this product. I miss it on vacation.

Brand marketing could be improved. Peloton to non-users is an exclusive yuppie product. But its a lifeline for many (including me) during the pandemic.

Gamechanger! Great step up for my at-home fitness routines. I got it during COVID, but it's going to be a staple from here on out. My favorite thing is the short workouts--a quick 20min cycle, for example, can kick your ass. It's easy to fit it in. The instructors make it what it is--they're likable, and engaging, and encouraging.

Expensive but one of the best ways to fit in hard and fun workouts.

The clip ins require tightening every few rides, generally expensive

I've only used the digital app, and it's very comparable to other fitness apps out there. The classes are certainly solid though, and I kept using the app for several months.

Suuuuper high price point for the bike/tread and ongoing subscription.
The equipment is great but for me Peloton really shines with its streaming app and workout videos. The workouts they offer are fantastic and their teachers are motivational while also being very great instructors. It's become a part of my regular workout routine, especially the recovery stretches.
I am not a peloton equipment owner but I do use the app. For $25 a month and unlimited classes to Choose from it is a great option for those who can’t afford group fitness classes or a personal trainer. The app is user friendly. The classes are high quality and extremely motivating. I really enjoy the tred and Pilates videos.
I love the community that Peloton can build, the amount of content and the instructors that became the soul of this brand. It's just the subscription portion of it that it's too much.
Excellent product and worth buying again. I was satisfied with the quality, may even be better than what I normally purchase. I would definitely buy this again and will be trying the varieties offered.
We were one of the early adopters to Peloton. I think we got it in the first year. Overall, the experience has been positive. I used it consistently before and during the pandemic. The product hasn’t changed much since, but I def have. So the critique isn’t on the bike, it’s just a lifestyle change.

This is how I found out I’m not athletic at all. I do love the bike and everything about it, I even kept my subscription so I can do yoga!
I love peloton! The instructors are super engaging and diverse, so you can always find someone or music types that match your vibe. The workouts have such a great variety too--from the bike, to tread, to pilates. I am obsessed!
This brand is the best to do the at home workout system, though the price point is incredibly high and limiting. Wish there were more options at various price points. I would love to have the Peloton treadmill, but simply cannot justify the price point. However, these products are the best on the market and you truly cannot beat the quality. I will just have to continue to use these items at the gym instead of in my home.
Love it! It is fun to exercise at home and feel like you are at a class with your private trainer.
The app is super user friendly and full of inspirational coaches that help you finish your workouts strong!
I know that not everyone can afford Peloton, but if it's REMOTELY in your budget I highly highly suggest. I've been excited to wake up every morning and log my workout. It becomes addicting and a great release of the day.
