Nuun earns strong reviews as an effective, low‑sugar hydration aid that helps runners, travelers, and everyday users feel noticeably more hydrated and energized, with many praising the fizzy, fast‑dissolving tablets, broad flavor range (Tri-Berry, Strawberry Lemonade, Wild Strawberry), and convenient travel‑ready tubes. Critiques surface around inconsistent or artificial‑tasting flavors, stevia preference, occasional chalkiness or residue, slower dissolve times, and mixed results for certain lines like Rest and Recovery.

I feel like this brand is just okay. They are good for having a shot glass sized dose of vitamins/hydration/etc. but definitely think there are tastier products on the market
I came across Nuun from a friend that is diabetic and educated me that these are both legitimate in boosting hydration AND do not contain and sugar/sugar additives. I had previously tried other brands (Liquid IV and Pique) that caused some stomach issues, but Nuun works for me and tastes great. I've purchased both the hydration and rest versions and both work effectively. I do appreciate the variety of flavors (lime, lemon, grape, orange, tropical) and how the reusable, compact carriers come with a cap.

So good! I plop a tablet into my water before I head out for the day to fizz out by the time I'm ready to go and have tasty, hydrating water to start my day. They're not super sugary like other hydration brands are and the packaging just makes them even more convenient. I keep a tube in my car, next to my bed, and a few in my cabinet so I have them whenever I want them.

I'd love to see more flavors!
I tried the Strawberry Sport Hydration and have mixed feelings. I drank it before bed after a night out and while I enjoyed the taste (especially compared to Liquid IV which I find very salty), I don't think it did a lot of my hydration levels. I have since had it a couple more times and while I think the taste is better than others on the market still, it's not the most effective for my body.
These are lifesavers for endurance athletes like myself. The tube is easy to carry in a bike bag or running vest, and they are actually pretty reasonably priced. I like the flavors they offer, sometimes.I wish they had more sugars for intrasport hydration!
Constantly stocked
Great tablets! I love how simple and easy these are to use. They come in a lot of flavors so you can find something for everyone. They're clean and no-nonsense, great supplement during those months when you just need some extra vitamins!
I used to take a non-caffeinated nuun tablet daily after it was recommended by my doctor for dehydration. While it might feel like a tube for around $8 is a bit much, do the math and you're saving significantly compared to that many Gatorade bottles, and you're helping the environment by purchasing a product that doesn't ship water. I’ve switched to another brand as of 2023 - this is higher sugar and lower in the mix of vitamins I prefer.

Honestly, I should be a Nuun paid influencer. Thats my level of devotion to this brand. I started drinking Nuun about 5 years ago- when I saw the product in Whole Foods. Now I buy in bulk DTC, from amazon, and from any store who will sell me them. The classic Nuun tablets are unbeatable- great tasting electrolytes with very very low sugar. This product: CURES HANGOVERS, makes you feel like less of a monster when you are dehydrated, gets you pumped for any workout, is essential for recovering from activity, keeps your family from becoming angry mob when its hot out. Its like snake oil except it actually works. I use both the caffeinated and uncaffeinated Nuun tablets- favorite flavor is Cherry Limeade and the Lemonade flavors. But I haven't come across a flavor I really don't like. I also have tried their pre-workout drink and like it, tastes a little more chalky and its a lot of caffeine, but it will definitely make you feel ready for a long run or big workout! Anytime its over 80 degrees, I drink 2 a day and it makes a world of difference in how I physically feel. Important to note- that hydration is not complete if you are drinking purified water- you need some sugar, salt, and electrolytes to hydrate yourself! Other great times to use Nuun- Skiing or in cold environments that are draining on your body, pre-night out/drinking with friends, traveling, when you feel kind of sick and want to recoup faster, anytime you realize you haven't actually drank water for like.. the whole day and need to atone for your sins! Better tasting than alternatives with the same benefits, and much more cost effective than alternatives as well! Seriously if you are reading this- you should try Nuun!

Shipping from DTC is on the slower side, but no other complaints!

I love nuun tablets! I have only tried the solid tablets that disolve in water, but have tested many flavours. Since they are a bit on the pricy side, I mainly use them during travel, high intensity exercise, or when im feeling under the weather. I find them not overly sweet, as someone who isnt a fan of super sweet beverages, and my favoruite flavours are watermelon, cherry, blueberry pomegranate (was surprised by this one) and others. I usually have a handful of these in the house ranging from Immunity, Sport & Caffiene variants.
Great flavors, super easy to travel with. They are light and seem to make me feel hydrated
Quick and easy and good flavors. The caffine ones are great pre-long run, regular are great after a hot yoga or hard workout. Also great for a hangover lol. The night time ones might be placebo - but I like the flavor, the low sugar content, the fact that it's an alternative to melatonin and a good switch up from sleepy time tea.
These are a really great energy source if you are a swimmer

Not a bad choice for electrolytes.
I've tried nuun before as my electrolyte option while training for a marathon and it works well for its intended purpose. The only thing I can't stand is that all the flavors have this slightly artificial fruity aftertaste that lingers and after a while, it really bothered me to the point that I had to switch to other electrolyte options.

Nuun is like an enriched and cleaner version of the usual water enhancers (e.g., Crystal Light). The taste is fine, and the sachets and bottles make it easy to carry. I'm not so sure of the health benefits.
love these things. way cheaper than the individual liquid IV packets and they're the same exactly thing in reality. love bringing the tube of these to the beach, on hikes, traveling etc when i know it's going to be hot and/or i'm going to be active
I've been buying Nuun for years because it's great for big hikes and backpacking. They taste delicious and I love how many flavors they have. And it's fun watching them be all fizzy when I put them in my water bottle :)
I love Nuun! The electrolytes are wonderful, but it's all the extra attributes are what take it up a notch. The immunity tablets are great for when I feel a cold coming on, and the flavor range is great.

Nuun are the best tasting hydration tablets I've tried (because the taste is so faint, which I prefer!). I use the Lemon Lime or Strawberry Lemonade Sport Hydration. They are not very sweet, and have no cane sugar, whereas the first ingredient in Liquid IV is cane sugar (ew). Though Liquid IV has more vitamins, which I think would be an added benefit in Nuun. I'd also like to know what "natural flavors" is in the ingredients... That being said - I am sort of over the whole hydration-tablet craze. Like, I take vitamin supplements as needed, eat healthy, and make sure to drink a lot of water when I work out. I can't really say whether these have any effect.
