Neutrogena earns largely positive reviews for effective staples—especially the Hydro Boost Water Gel/Moisturizer, reliable sunscreens, and gentle eye-makeup removers—suggesting the brand works for many skin types and acne-prone skin. Reviews also flag drawbacks: several cleansers feel harsh or overly drying, some sunscreens can be greasy or sting eyes and leave a white cast, certain wipes dry out skin, and the brand is not cruelty-free.

I have been using neutrogena in the past for sunscreen while playing sports. It gets uncomfortable after a while and greasy. I have changed to a different sunscreen. I do some other sunscreens instead.

Always a solid product at an affordable price point - usually have sales or coupons available too. Their sunscreen works really well consistently, love purchasing the travel size to take on trips as my go to.

I feel like Neutrogena is Neutrogena it’s been around since most of our aunties and Grammie’s because it’s tried and true. I would say there are more “luxurious” skin care brands but this is a staple at any age

Usually Neutrogena is pretty good. I am reviewing the ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen 100 SPF with Helio Plex broad spectrum UVA – UVB technology. it claims to have a lightweight and clean feel. It is a little bit greasy, but mostly it’s a pretty smooth application. It smells a little like sunscreen.

I have used a few of their products Neutrogena products over the years. I think they are a staple drugstore brand because of the affordability. Their make up wipes are my go to. I recently discovered their toner and like it a lot.

Over the years I have used multiple NEUTROGENA products and have really enjoyed all of them and have re-purchased many of them. I love all of their products and got a few of these hydro boost hydrating masks to give as gifts!

I received the collagen bank moisturizer and also an SPF version. I thought they would be the same but one doesn't help against the sun. I will say I was wrong. I prefer the sunscreen version because it is on the thinner side and runny. I was nervous at first because it did have a white appearance when applied to my skin the sunscreen moisturizer but as I massaged it it turned completely clear on me. I have fair skin though, I would like to see a darker complexion person try it and see if it doesn't white cast on it. The sunscreen moisturizer doesn't have the traditional coconut scent that I don’t care for it is fragrance-free. I also noticed the pump is easier to press down to get the moisturizer out since it is not as thick as the other one.

I am obsessed with the Hydrogel Masks. They are so easy to apply and the mask actually stays on your face. They are soft and provide instant hydration, exactly as described! These are also super cost-friendly and a bargain for what you get. I save the extra serum in the package and use it morning and night! I've noticed a genuine difference in my skin since using these masks and I have very sensitive skin, it's been a game changer!

I love these wipes. It's a bag of 20 count pre-moistened towelettes. They work to dissolve dirt, remove bacteria, oil and makeup. They're a nice size, I only have to use one to remove my makeup. They removed my makeup nicely without irritating my skin. They also removed my eye makeup with no trouble. The packaging is great, they're individually wrapped, keeping them from drying out. They're great for travel, just toss them into whatever you're carrying. I don't really notice a scent. They are ophthalmologist, dermatologist and allergy tested. They are designed with the earth in mind, the compostable wipes are made with 100% plant-based fibers and biodegrade in 35 days in home compost. I like these extra gentle eye makeup remover pads. They're gentle on my eyes. They do a good job at removing my eye makeup. I like that they're pre-moistened ready to use straight out of the container. They don't leave an oily feeling behind. They remove waterproof mascara and they're ophthalmologist tested.

Hydroboost was my introduction to water gel moisturizing creams. I haven't looked back since. I also like their mineral sunscreen because it surprisingly doesn't leave a white cast and their Ultra Sheer Body Mist sunscreen because it works and leaves a nice glow. The smell is extremely strong, though. Don't spray it in a small enclosed space...

Been using it for a while now 👀✨ and it actually works! My under eyes feel smoother and look way more refreshed. Not greasy at all and layers well under makeup 💁♀️💧 Love that it’s lightweight but still hydrating.

only good experiences!
Loved this! Worked very well in cleansing my skin without drying it out. The foam/lather created was amazing and effective in "exfoliating" your skin! Being fragrance-free is a must-have for sensitive skin and this absolutely delivered!

"Neutrogena is my skincare staple! 🌸💆♀️ I swear by their gentle, effective formulas that keep my skin clear and balanced. From their iconic Hydrating Facial Moisturizer to their gentle cleansers, Neutrogena products are my go-to for everyday skincare. I love how they cater to different skin types and concerns - it's like they get me! 💕"

I’ve fallen in love with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel—it feels like drinking water for my skin with every application. It absorbs almost instantly, leaves a plump, dewy finish, and never feels greasy under makeup. If your skin tends to dry, a cream layered on top at night completes the hydration beautifully.

This body gel cream is perfect for dry skin—it absorbs instantly and leaves my skin soft, smooth, and hydrated all day. The texture is lightweight and non-sticky, but it delivers deep moisture. Great for hot climates or anyone who hates heavy lotions.💙💙💙

This retinol cream made my skin feel firmer and smoother within a week. It has a lightweight texture and didn’t irritate my skin like other retinols. I use it at night, and I wake up with a fresh, even glow.

Neutrogena has been my staple since teenage years. As someone with fairly sensitive skin, I have found Neutrogena to be usually reliable for skin care -- does the job well without irritating my skin too much. The products are generally affordable and easy to find at local pharmacies and supermarkets.

Neutrogena has been around for awhile and has an affordable price point and variety of products. My favorite is their SPF Revitalizing Lip Balm. It's basically tinted chapstick with spf. Feels great on the lips and has a good spf rating of spf 20. Most lip products don't have any and those that do are generally at spf 15. I take mine with me on trips so I've got spf coverage while it also provides a nice color boost, while hydrating my normally dry lips. Only drawback for me is I wish there were more color choices (currently only a few).

Best drugstore beauty brand for sensitive skin. Their cleanser was the only one I could use without irritation for decades and the fact they sell makeup as well is a cherry on top!

I’ve been using Neutrogena’s eye cream for a while now, and I absolutely love it! It’s incredibly light and has no scent, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. One of the best things about it is that it doesn’t cause any milia for me, which has been an issue with other products in the past. Plus, it works wonderfully under concealer, making my makeup look flawless. While it does a fantastic job moisturizing the under-eye area, it’s not specifically for wrinkles or dark circles. However, it contains hyaluronic acid, which helps keep my skin hydrated and smooth.
