Neutrogena Reviews

4.1

Neutrogena earns largely positive reviews for effective staples—especially the Hydro Boost Water Gel/Moisturizer, reliable sunscreens, and gentle eye-makeup removers—suggesting the brand works for many skin types and acne-prone skin. Reviews also flag drawbacks: several cleansers feel harsh or overly drying, some sunscreens can be greasy or sting eyes and leave a white cast, certain wipes dry out skin, and the brand is not cruelty-free.

  • I was surprised by the new Glass Glow Balm in Natural Glow. The texture of the balm is very light. You only need a little bit. I liked to apply using my fingers. As soon as I put my fingers in the balm and warmed it up the balm began to slightly melt and making it easier to tap into my skin. I like that it doesn’t have pieces of glitter in it. You can use for highlighting all the areas you normally like to glow but with a more natural and radiant look. Subtle but enhances your look. I’m impressed with the texture and formula and the packaging. It’s a better quality than I expected from drug store makeup. It will last me forever !

  • Neutrogena is pretty much a staple brand for me, it’s not too expensive and it has a good variety of products. I like their hand cream, spray spf and hydro boost moisturizer. I feel like you can use it on all skin types and it won’t trigger a breakout or make you feel greasy. I haven’t tried their cosmetics yet but they sound really good quality too.

  • affordable drugstore products that work! despite dropping and breaking this compact, the powder has been a go-to for coverups. great as a setting powder that won't further clog up pores for acne-prone skin

  • This Neutrogena product feels more like a moisturizer than a typical sunscreen, which I really liked. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated without feeling heavy or greasy. It layers well under makeup, but it isn’t cruelty-free, which is a huge downside for me.
