Native earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its deodorants and body washes smell exceptional and many users say they work for everyday wear, while others report short wear time, residue, and staining. Reviews praise clean-feeling formulas, sensitive-skin options, and standout scents like Coconut & Vanilla, Eucalyptus & Mint, and Citrus & Herbal Musk, but note inconsistent odor control in heat/workouts, occasional rashes or grit, and cardboard-packaging ergonomics.

I tried the deodorant and I don't think it works very well. I notice in certain situations when I sweat extra (working out, stressful meeting, etc.) that I can smell myself and the deodorant is basically gone or not working. I like the scents they offer but it just doesn't do its job. Won't be buying again.
Some products are great, like their shampoo. Some are terrible, like the deodorant and conditioner. My hair has never been more dry. But then we also actively use their toothpaste, which is made up of a few, clean ingredients and has a great taste! So I’ll continue trying products from this brand.

I have their eucalyptus and mint deodorant. It smells great! A few pros and cons: Pros: clean brand, aluminum free, does the job, feels better than a traditional brand like old spice/axe Cons: $12 a stick, if you sweat profusely you'd need a second application (post-workout) I was in the market for a new body wash and decided to try their white tea and lilac body wash. Pros: smells great, ingredient list isn't full of chemicals Cons: if you read the ingredients, because it's natural ingredients, it's all just variations of salt = cleans well but leaves your skin a bit dry, will need to moisturize afterwards Overall, for general everyday use, Native is a great brand. For now, I think I'll just stick to their deodorant.
I had an uncomfortable reaction to the baking soda in the regular Native deodorant products (rash, redness, pain) but no reaction with the sensitive formular. I feel like Native works well on days I may be working from home or exercising at home, but I feel like I need a little more sweat and odor protection when I am out and about. The scents are great though! Wish there were more scents in the sensitive formula.

Good Natural Deodorant but doesn’t work as well as the stuff that are bad for your pits! The trade off. Love the scents. I really liked the Valentine’s Day candy scents.
Maybe it’s just me but it unfortunately doesn’t stand up to other deodorant products. I truly want to use something more natural but I don’t want to compromise smelling or not feeling confident. This just doesn’t do it for me. The scents are very nice but the effects don’t last more than a couple hours before I can notice myself sweating/smelling through.
I just switched my deodorant recently to the charcoal native deodorant and am in love with it. I am someone who previously used a three step product because I sweat more than others and this one deodorant has done better than the 3 step product. I love the smell too. No more embarrassing, stinky, wet pits!
Not my favorite but don’t hate it. It’s the smells for me. Their holiday line is my favorite I think it’s the sugar cookie. Omg please keep it all year!!! It’s the best one. I have to stock up on it every year to get me through!
Products don't work for me! I have had a years-long journey trying to find "THE ONE" in the aluminum-free, clean deodorant world.. And this one (for me) is still not it. Pros: great smelling products Cons: I broke out in a rash shortly after using (despite doing a pit detox), and I don't love the consistency - goes on hard, flaky, and uncomfortable. Pit stains, sweat, and did not work on BO for me.
I love the look, smell and quality ingredients in their products but the deodorant didnt work for me in the hot texas summers! That being said, I am obsessed with their scents and adore the body wash and shampoo line!
UPDATE: After the company was acquired, they removed the probiotics and prebiotics from the ingredients. They didn't announce this, so I only found out when I got a sudden rash after using this product for years and asked Native about any ingredient changes. I'll be using up what I have but looking for a new brand. Pros: works longer than any other deodorant I've used. Lots of scent options and a sensitive version, though I haven't needed it, even though my skin can be sensitive. Subscription discounts. Cons: apparently recently bought out by Proctor & Gamble, so who knows how long their quality and values will last. Bottom line: I don't plan to stop using it unless it goes downhill of course. I like to support smaller more ethical brands, but so far, this is by far the best I've used.
Smells great. Works very well. The body wash is fabulous, my daughters favorite
I like the scents but this deodorant ended up staining my shirt armpits.

I have only used the deodorant and it did not work as well as other natural deodorants for me.
I have only used the deodorant and shampoo from this brand, but I love both. The deodorant is natural, and has fun, not overpowering scents. Effective products with sustainable packaging.

I have used Native's deodorant for many years and have never had anyone complain about my smell.
I love the smells of these products and have used the deodorant a few times. The main problem is the cost is pretty high for deodorant but that's too be expected for a new ish brand. I think it's worth it if you like the unique smells they offer though
Love love love! The scents are amazing and it really works while remaining natural. Obsessed.
