Reviews mention

  • Clean, simple ingredient list
  • Convenient, portable oat cups
  • Rich, satisfying flavor options
  • Dairy‑free, plant‑based formulation
  • Inconsistent, mushy oat texture
  • Overly sweet flavor profile
  • Small, snack‑size portions
  • Occasional artificial fruit notes

MUSH earns polarized reviews: devotees praise its convenient, ready‑to‑eat overnight oats with clean, simple ingredients and standout flavors like Blueberry, Dark Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Snickerdoodle, and Pumpkin, noting satisfying, grab‑and‑go energy. However, reviews flag frequent texture issues (too mushy, wet, gritty), sweetness that skews dessert‑like, small portions better suited to a snack than a meal, occasional artificial‑tasting fruit notes, and sporadic spoilage or off batches—making it great for convenience seekers but not ideal for those picky about oat texture or intensity.

  • I like the ingredients in these oatmeal cups . They are really convenient when traveling especially. I think the name turns some people off, but it doesn't bother me . I love that they are with coconut milk!

  • Such a good flavor to it, but the texture was not it for me. I wish it was a little more thin in consistency!

  • pretty decent, I like the chocolate flavor and the peanut butter one. I prefer Brekki brand to be honest, it's a little more liquidy than this. Still a good easy breakfast with decent macros!

  • The taste is good but the texture is kinda....weird. A little wet. With that said, they do a good job filling me up and keeping me feeling satisfied. Worth trying, especially when on sale!

  • I have only tried the apple cinnamon and the vanilla bean. I like the idea, and they were pretty tasty. The texture is a bit meh, and I wasn't sure if I could warm it up.

  • Honestly, if I hadn’t been so hungry I probably couldn’t have finished. Not terrible, but not great either. I would much rather spend the time to make my own oatmeal. I put the extra oatmeal in small mason jars and eat throughout the week.

I find MUSH to be a little too sweet and ironically a little too mushy. It would be better if they were less sweet with a little more texture (for me).

  • Big fan of the snickerdoodle and vanilla bean ones. Flavorful, healthy, makes for a great snack

  • This is such an amazing and healthy breakfast/snack for when I'm traveling and I'm looking for something healthy I can keep in my hotel fridget or at home when I'm in a rush. It doesn't bother my stomach - which oatmeal sometimes does, and the flavors are AMAZING. My personal fave is the blueberry flavor.

  • these are actually amazing and i love the texture. i also love how many flavors mush makes!

you should definitely make a cookie butter flavor

  • This was fairly MEH. taste was awful. Consistency not good. Cold mush? Yuck.

  • As an oatmeal lover, I was really excited to try this product. I was also really drawn in by the graphic design and brand feel. However, the product was, in my opinion, kinda tasteless and didn't look visually appealing when I opened it.

  • Mush has a good taste. I wish they had more protein. Great quick breakfast option.

  • I love oatmeal so I thought I’d love these. unfortunately, i found the texture very slimy.

  • Mush is my breakfast savior! I love personalizing them by adding nut butter and fresh fruit. The Vanilla Bean is my favorite

  • Makes for a quick and easy breakfast. I'm a big fan of the blueberry and strawberry flavor.

  • i wanted to like overnight oats. but alas, the texture isn’t right to me. the flavor was okay. but it was a bit too mushy for me. i would still recommend the product to people that enjoy oatmeal in this manner.

this is purely my own opinion, but it was too mushy. i barely like oatmeal enough as it is and the few times i DO eat it i don’t add the amount of liquid it calls for. i always add significantly less. i was hoping the overnight oats would be more forgiving. but it seems like i’d have to try making some on my own with a lower liquid to oats ratio.

  • I have a love hate relationship with these oats. The flavor is so good! The dark chocolate ones are the best flavor! However, they are expensive and I can make something very similar for much less. When I have coupons from kroger these are definitely in my cart, otherwise they are a skip for me.

  • Been eating Mush ready-to-eat oats for a while now, and I have to say, I'm a bit obsessed. The creamy texture and delicious flavors are a perfect start my morning routine. The only downside? The high price tag might deter those looking for a budget-friendly breakfast option (~$2/cup), but for a truly indulgent snack, Mush is worth the splurge.

  • Love the rebrand and love the product. Would like the texture to be a bit better but overall great.

  • Honestly, buy this. Mush is a game changer and I love all of their flavors. The ingredients are so clean and even though this is easy to make at home, the convenience of not having to is a seller. The coffee and vanilla bean flavors are amazing and my favorite!
