Muji reviews and discussion

I don't think there's a room in our house that doesn't host some kind of Muji item, be it an organizer or a wayward pen. When it comes to storage and organization (both for permanent and travel), I'm hard pressed to go anywhere else. The design system just clicks which is helpful when they're being used seasonally and circulated, so ease of access is helpful. I believe where people might be thrown is with the pricing, as it is a little steeper than kitting out your home with reliable IKEA goods. It's incredibly subjective though, I love how understated Muji homewares are and I don't mind shelling out for pragmatic pieces that stand the test of time and wear. They also produce my favourite wooden spoon/spatula.

Muji has such a wide range of affordable products, and their .38 black pens are a staple in my household. Their clothing leaves a little to be desired (not the best quality IMO) but the stationary, travel containers, and home goods more than make up for that.

I find Muji's things to be very high quality. I love their cork trivets. They're huge.

Really quality products at reasonable prices. I just wish they had more stores across the US.

Very random review probably, but the Muji right angle socks are the greatest socks in all of the universe.

affordable, basic yet stylist things in so many categories! i especially love their linen clothing and notebooks. the clothes in particular last forever if you take care of the pieces well. the pricing is super reasonable. the materials are all nice. i love stopping into the store and always find something worth picking up. have never regretted a purchase!

Muji is hands down the best. Tastemaker and staple-creator extraordinaire. Makes great gifts of treats for yourself. Their pens are best in class!

Longtime MUJI customer. Aside from their A++ rollerball pens, I really enjoy their homeware products - especially anything made from the stainless steel or glasses. Affordable and long lasting.

respectfully, i don’t get the hype. very expensive for everyday basics/essentials in regards to home goods, clothing, beauty etc. quality pillows though!

I always feel fancy stepping into a muji. Like a mix between ikea and uniqlo, but with added ambiance. Sometimes they play little songs in the store that make you feel like you're on a pirate ship.

i like how simple all of the products are. the pens are great to stock up on, especially the .3 blue nibs. recently i've especially been loving their boyshorts, which are simple and breathable.

Muji is my go to for home and stationary supplies. I could not recommend the 0.5 and 0.38 ballpoint pens more - smooth and satisfying to write with. I've been using them since 2014, and haven't stopped. They're refillable, so you don't even need to buy new pens. Otherwise, I also love their home storage containers as well as dishes/wood cutlery. Great for aesthetics but also practical. What I miss the most about living in Asia is being able to go to any brick and mortar Muji store to browse. In the US, you'll most likely need to use the website. If you have the chance, try out their Yuzu Fruit Spread either on toast or in hot/ice tea!

I have ALWAYS loved Muji as a brand. Great quality products at reasonable prices. I’m a huge fan of their travel bottle range & their refillable gel ink pens. I’ve been using Muji travel bottles for about 14years now & I travel A LOT! I still have some of the original bottles I bought when I first discovered that Muji sold them. Unfortunately I no longer live close to a Muji store but their website & online ordering are very easy to use. All in all an extremely positive experience from a brand I would highly recommend.
