Lush earns polarizing reviews: aficionados praise its standout bath bombs, indulgent scrubs (Scrubee, Ocean Salt, Magic Crystals), beloved staples like Dream Cream, Celestial, and Mask of Magnaminty, plus vegan/eco-minded practices and fun in‑store testing. Detractors cite overpowering, sometimes irritating fragrances, inconsistent efficacy (notably some skincare, conditioners, and shampoo bars), product discontinuations, and occasional staining or messy residue from bombs—making the brand better for gifts and sensorial self‑care than results‑driven routines.

Go for the bath bombs and go back for the bath bombs. I like them so much that I always end up trying other products (shampoos, lotions, masks, etc.) and while many of them are okay, I've not loved something so much that I would repurchase. Some of the fresh face masks can be really refreshing but I am still looking for one that doesn't dry out my skin. I love their mission and commitment to sustainability - especially that you can return empty packages for recycling.
Love it so much!

I have been using Lush products for many years (maybe over a decade) and I love that their products are made from natural ingredients, and also make skin and body care fun. My favorite Lush products are the massage bars. They are a bit novel but moisturize so well and always leave me feeling pampered and luxurious. It's a really affordable way to indulge in a bit of self-care and know that you're treating your body well as the same time.
Definitely a fun place to shop around! I am only sharing my experience on the jelly body wash. Very cool and unique but was not my favorite every day body wash.

Unique products and great scents.
Some of my favorite products, but also some disappointing ones. The body conditioner solid works incredibly as a shaving cream; it leaves my skin really soft. I really like their fun body washes; I have one from them that smells like chocolate and I love it. On the flip side, I would not recommend the body scrubs or lip scrubs. I have a body scrub from them and every time I use it, it leaves my skin irritated. It does not matter how gentle I am with it, and I do not have sensitive skin, so this comes as a surprise. Also the lip scrubs are very dry. Additionally, I got a sample of the shower jelly and it fell apart within 2 uses. I am not sure if this the same with the full size version, but I will not be purchasing it.
If you like fragrance then this is the place, haven’t been to the store in awhile, not sure if still there. All my children 18to 25 loved the bath bombs. I have to admit the body scrubs are great , but anything else for me has too much fragrance
I've been a big fan of Lush for years now. The salt face wash for acne works amazing!

The main issue is that if you don't use it regularly, they expire
I got a wonderful set of beautifully designed bath bombs as a gift. They were delightfully reactive and smelled heavenly. I think the bath bombs are a lovely little luxury.
I have been buying Lush stuff on and off for 15+ years now -- when it first emerged so many years ago, it was unique and I tried most of their products... over time, they've seemingly gotten less innovative, and now I only pop by occasionally to buy bath bombs.

I love to layer my perfumes and discovered that Lush had solid perfumes made from castor oil. I ended up getting Rose Jam and its the perfect base layer if you love floral scents. It lasts on me all day and heightens the scent of my liquid perfumes. I get so many compliments anytime I wear this by itself or layered.
SO excessively fragrant, instant headache
I used to buy a lot of stuff on Lush years ago. Such a great brand and prices are really good. Obviously LOVED their bathbombs, and still do!
Very fun place to shop. The store notably has vegan products and tries to be eco friendly. It's nice that some products are self preserving, such as the salt scrubs. I really like the shampoo bars. It is quite expensive and I feel the brand falls into the treat-myself category.
Generally love the products. I do find some scents overpowering. Ultimately, I love their eco-friendly approach, unique packaging options, and fun product names! Staff in store are usually very helpful.
I love the skincare at LUSH! Everything feels very clean and organic, so naturally my skin loves it. The toners are so refreshing and easy to use as it is in a spray bottle.
Amazing natural products for all skin types, always coming with new collections and clever marketing perspectives.
Amazing smelling products, the bath bombs are the best I ever had. Its good for the environment I keep buying the snow fairy over and over
I love Lush a lot! It’s one the pricier side but the smell lingers and the bath bombs last ways longer than other brands. Though the scent are always overpowering. I would always sneeze from the smell.
I have used a few of Lush's products especially their skincare range and it has helped me clear up my spots when they were at their worst! If I am honest, I think there are better products on the market but for what you pay and how effective it was, I recommend it!
I love their concept but because of the amount of perfume they put in their products I can’t use it because it will burn my skin
