  • Beautiful montessori-inspired designs
  • High-quality wooden construction
  • Engaging, age-appropriate curation
  • Insightful developmental guides
  • Bulky toy accumulation issue
  • Play gym mat thinness
  • Occasional durability shortcomings
  • Inflexible subscription model

Lovevery earns strong reviews as a thoughtful, developmentally attuned toy and play-kit brand that generally works—children engage deeply and many items endure across stages—while weaknesses surface around bulk toy accumulation, occasional durability issues, and limited longevity of the Play Gym for mobile babies. Reviewers praise the beautiful, Montessori-inspired designs, high-quality materials, and helpful guides, but flag the subscription’s inflexibility (boxes over individual kits) and some toys being either too advanced or underused.

  • I love, love, love Lovevery! I've been ordering boxes from them every since my baby was born. You get one every 3 months. They are like Montessori toys. She always loves the toys and plays with all of them. She still plays with the ones from what she was first born even. I never have to go and pick out toys and worry about if they are going to be correct for her development. They are always perfect for her age. They are wooden and last a long time also.

  • We bought the subscription packages and used it for both of our children they are great quality toys that teach the children different skills for various stages from baby onwards. We highly recommend lovevery to parents with young children.

  • I absolutely LOVE Lovevery!!!!! I ordered this for my first born up to the age of 3! Then when surprise I was expecting again, I immediately added a second subscription for my daughter! I have seen the difference in my children and how smart they are. I love seeing their minds create and learn while playing with this. Every time a Lovevery box was delivered it felt like Christmas to my kids who would squeal with delight ready to open and discover science based learning again!

  • A friend recommended this company to me. I got the play mat and was generally happy with it and it was high quality. I thought the tent would be fun, but my baby was barely interested in sitting inside under it at that point so I got less use than I thought at that stage. Also some of the sections of the mat my baby rarely showed interest in. The black and white cards and mirror were the highlights, and we hung rings from the center that were the biggest hit. I wish the play mat came with a chain of rings. The first boxes had some overlap with the play mat so I bought 2 of the later ones. He played a lot with nearly all the toys. Some of them got a lot of play, or he would go back to them later. Some of the boxes had one or two items only that I wanted, so I joined a facebook group and bought them used. There is a huge resale value on these toys if you are worried about the cost. I haven’t sold any of mine yet, but you can definitely recoup a bunch of the cost through said groups. I also bought the soft stacking baskets and the car from their target line. The baskets were great since he was into the throwing stage, and these were completely soft to throw. The car he didn’t show as much interest in. I also got the tunnel — pretty good, my son liked it but didn’t use it as much as I thought. I liked that it is organic cotton although I wish it was washable. Finally, I got the block set. My son does like it. The shape sorter is kinda weird, only certain blocks have holes for them so you need to separate out the ones that match and only give those or there will be frustration. My son loved the bead threading, but then would swing them around, and since they’re heavy blocks, it turned into a weapon. So I had to hide that for a while. The blocks only fit inside the box if you do it perfectly, and my son first was upset the box wouldn’t close. So I also hid some blocks for a while so it would close.

Making the books available to buy individually. A lot of them look interesting and I bought some earlier ones on a facebook group. Would have preferred buying them directly. Some people on the group are really selling them for way more than they should be, like $30 a book, so this seems like a missed opportunity. The boxes used to come with more toys. Lovevery said they would rather focus on fewer items that are better, but at this price point, some of the earlier versions definitely seem more worth the cost.

  • Love our lovevery play center. So many ways to entertain our little one and especially loved the developmental guidance to help us better understand how to engage her! Haven’t tried the subscription but would love to.

Would love a better way to store the toys (every day and between kids). They will last and we need something a better place to put it!

  • This is THE toy brand to invest in. High quality, beautiful, and engaging toys for your little ones at every stage of development. It's obvious they care about not just kids but the parents working hard to raise them <3

  • Love this company. They have some very high quality products for kids. Great idea and the guide books that come inside come in handy. It is a nice way to cycle out toys and make sure your child is playing with toys that are age appropriate while helping with their development.

A bit pricey, would love to see some deals. Not all families can afford these boxes.

  • We have the Lovevery play gym and block set, and I've been impressed by the quality and design of both. In my experience their products are high-quality, functional and beautifully designed!

  • The best toys, hands down. We've sent out so many Lovevery gifts to expecting and new moms, and everyone loves them!! Now they have an app too.

  • There are so many kids toys to choose from and a lot of them are shoddily made and not necessarily right for your kid's development stage. We got Lovevery first as a gift and continue the subscription on our own for our kid's first year and it was a godsend to be able to just rely on getting the right toys every few months, instead of having to do the research and trying to find the right toys for her to interact with. As new parents, that's the last thing we want to have to spend our little spare time doing. Lovevery toys are really thoughtfully designed and well-made, and there are many pieces that my LO still plays with months after. Also, their customer service is very friendly and efficient - one box was shipped to our in-laws' because I had forgotten to update the address after traveling there and they shipped another one out to our home right away, while they recalled the other. Really appreciate that they understand their customer base - new parents who are overwhelmed and often forgetful!

Some of the boxes have some items that seem repetitive from previous boxes and feel like "fillers". It was really great for the first 6-9 months, but after that, the toys start to pile up and it becomes a storage issue. It doesn't feel sustainable for us to continue a subscription that delivers so many toys every few months (in addition to getting other toys as gifts, etc.) and it does start to seem a bit wasteful. Would like an option with just the key one or two items that are unique to that developmental stage.

  • This is a really great subscription experience and when you are in the new stage of parenting it's nice to have one thing you don't have to think about. The toys were always developmentally appropriate for my kids. It may seem like a big investment but the toys have really good resale value and hold up well.

  • Lovevery makes some great options for play! Their fun but aesthetic style is such a nice balance. There are some great options for montessori play, but overall I don't feel their subscription boxes make the most of your money. Some toys are adequately engaging, while other times I feel like I'm paying for a mundane object. I got to the point where I would rather pick and choose which toys I purchase and at which prices. I was also frustrated to find that in order to replace the toys on our playmat between kids (the fabric cloth on a silicone ring and the sensory ball, as well as the straps they attached to) it was going to cost over $80. Seems like robbery after spending $200 on the playmat.

  • My son loves it. It helps him develop and unleash imagination. Toys are colorful and made of child safe sustainable materials.

  • Perfect toys for the age of my grandson keeps him entertained!

  • We got this when my son was 0-3 I think. I didn’t think it was worth it. We canceled it after that

  • Love it I have a subscription and my daughter loves the toys

    Really love the toys.

  • Love these toys. Our kids have gotten tons of use out of the various toys we've bought from Lovevery. They're high quality, well made, beautifully designed, and we're just really big fans of the brand.

Not much they could do better. Some are a bit pricey but that's about it.

  • We absolutely adore our Lovevery play gym, it really is the best play gym option! I appreciate the activities guide and cards that come with it, too.

The accessories are prohibitively expensive for what they are.

  • I love the Lovevery experience - the unboxing, the quality of the products, the books (they are still some of my son's favorites), and most of the toys. My only complaint is that my son wasn't interested in some of the toys. I'd definitely subscribe again if I were to do it all over again, but it the products weren't always right.

Light customization of the older kids kits.

  • Our Lovevery play gym remains in the middle of our living room, that is the only thing out. My baby has loved it since she was a newborn and now still plays with certain aspects of it. She also enjoys her toys from the subscription. I hear the toys get even better after the 1-year-old mark, so I'm excited for that!
