Reviews mention

  • Noticeably fast hydration boost
  • Convenient travel-ready packets
  • Wide, crowd-pleasing flavors
  • Mixes easily in cold water
  • Overly sweet, sometimes salty taste
  • High sugar and sodium content
  • Occasional thick, gritty texture
  • Inconsistent flavor enjoyment

Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

  • Life saver!! Liquid I.V. really gets the job done! It truly makes me feel better.

  • A lot of suger with an overly surgery taste. Typically when I want electrolytes, I want a refreshing drink and this isn't refreching.

  • The Lemon Lime flavor is reminiscent of a Vietnamese Salted Lime Soda, which makes drinking it super easy and fun. Although it is slightly too sweet, so I dilute it even more with water. The packaging is simple and easy to store at home. We now keep a secret stash of it at home for long nights or grueling workouts, would definitely recommend it to my friends.

  • I love drinking these when I go to music festivals especially in the summer. I recently tried the sugar free white peach flavor, which was probably my favorite.

  • While breastfeeding and pumping I was having some troubles staying as hydrated as I should until I started drinking Liquid IV twice a day. I had never felt better after drinking it.

  • a life saver after long beach days, summer hikes, and hangovers. We rely on them often and they never disappoint.

  • It's an ok product. I am not sure if it does what it claims it does, as I don't feel any more satiated versus a regular bottle of water. With that said, the grape flavor (which is hard to find) is the best flavor, and I will mix it with 20 oz of water, rather than the standard bottle of water. It tastes fantastic over ice, and not so great at room temperature. It is a superior product compared to the "g" brand out there.

  • I love keeping Liquid IV on hand to stave off hangovers - drink one at the end of your night and you'll feel significantly better the next day! I've only tried the lemon-lime flavor, but I think it's delicious.

  • As an avid traveler for both work and play Liquid IV is a life-saver. Spending so much time in planes really drys you out! We buy Liquid IV in bulk and find it very hydrating and a must for any sort of travel.

  • I LOVE liquid IV. I always mix one up before lake days or when I know I won't be drinking as much water to stay hydrated!

  • Not my go-to electrolytes–the stevia taste of the regular ones is way too strong.

  • I love using these when I know I'm going to be sweating and needing those additional electrolytes. These are super tasty and mix easily. I end up getting the large bag and then swapping flavors out with my friends.

  • I personally don’t love the taste but if you struggle getting water in and don't like drinking plain water this is a great supplement.

  • Liquid IV is my headache drink go to. The lemon lime is my personal favorite, the only one I haven’t liked is the strawberry variety. They do taste better cold

  • It was too sweet for me when I used the whole packet but it definitely works to rehydrate. It's not something I regularly need in my panty, but I like having them on hand in my travel bags.

  • Use this for outdoor days. And to help with getting hydrated. Family members use them as well.
