Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

This stuff is OK…tastes good and convenient, but I’m only giving this two stars because of the sodium content. Selling something as “healthy” that has this much sodium is in no way healthy! PLEASE check out the amount of SODIUM in this stuff! I know some people don’t have any current BP issues, but drinking this much sodium on a daily basis is WAY more than the USDA, and that will CAUSE problems down the road.
I love liquid iv. I use it constantly and think it’s effective. It helps me when I have hangovers/headaches or if I have a hard workout. More flavors would be great

very good
It’s like a pick-me-up for hydration. Taste-wise, tangy and not too shabby, but don’t expect a flavor explosion. What hits the spot is the hydration boost; it's no joke. Electrolytes and vitamins packed in this lil' pouch help you stay on top of your hydration game. But hey, it’s not a miracle fix. Good for a boost, but don’t expect it to replace plain ol' water entirely. 🍋💦
I am not a fan of Liquid IV, it's full of sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors and synthetic vitamins. Definitely not that you need if you're dehydrated.
a weekend MUST for me!
I had the strawberry flavor, which i added lemon juice to in my water because the taste was a bit chalky. I can’t attest to the hydration, though I’ve heard good things. I can see how using this every day may not be feasible since the flavors aren’t the best tasting.
It might hit your wallet a bit harder, but at least it doesn't assault your taste buds with a salty disaster like some other brands. Can't say if it's the absolute champion of hydration, but hey, I haven't been curious enough to ditch it for another brand.
waaay too much sugar.

Only good things to say about Liquid I.V. and a great way to get hydration and electrolytes. Great to use when you realize you haven’t had any water during the day or stay hydrated during workouts. They are very sweet so I like to dilute with more water than what’s recommended.
Total hangover cure! I normally shy away from any type of powered drink pack but a friend let me try one of these after a night of drinking and within an hour, I was hangover free.
Excellent for outdoor summer activities, could do a little better on flavor though!
Liquid I.V. is great BUT very sugary - I often use one packet for two full glasses of water. Highly recommend for the days that you have an extremely strenuous workout or a big sweat (or a brutal hangover).
I got a box of the Liquid IV Hydration Multiplier in lemon lime to take on a trip to South America just in case my daughter or I got travelers diarrhea. Luckily we never had to use it! Instead my daughter tried it in her water bottle when playing hockey. She didn’t end up liking the taste. I, however, do like the taste and add it to my water bottle for workouts, while at the sauna, or sometime just when I’m feeling a little sluggish during the day. I’ve noticed when I feel tired and blah in the afternoon, if I use this I feel re-energized and focused. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m dehydrated and this re-hydrates me well or if the B vitamins in it really work to boost my energy. Whatever the reason, it makes me feel better. I didn’t rate it 5 stars because it does contain a fair bit of sugar but they do have a sugar free variety if that’s a deal breaker for you.

Liquid i.v. is fine but really too sweet for me. I'd love if there was less sugar. I prefer the ratio of sugar and salt in Cure Hydration. They are still drinkable and I am currently drinking them almost daily since a friend gave me some.
It's really good but a little sweet. I do know they have a sugar-free version now, so excited to try it.
I love liquid IV. The lemon lime flavor is so good and I feel refreshed and renewed!
Liquid IV is too sugary in my experience. I usually mix with double the water recommended to help, but overall good flavor options.
Honestly just not the right balance of clean and health-conscious ingredients for me to use regularly. Way too much sugar and not enough focus on what my body actually needs to refuel. Okay in a pinch.
