Reviews mention

  • Gentle, non-stripping cleanser
  • Soothing, barrier-repair serum
  • Lightweight, no-cast sunscreen
  • Transparent, sustainability ethos
  • Occasional pilling with serum
  • Moisturizers feel too lightweight
  • Aha toner causes irritation
  • Cleanser underwhelms very oily skin

KraveBeauty earns favorable reviews for gentle, effective basics—Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, Great Barrier Relief, and Beet The Sun sunscreen frequently calm sensitive skin, boost hydration, and layer well under makeup. Reviews also flag drawbacks: Oat So Simple and some moisturizers can feel too light or sting, Great Barrier Relief may pill or feel greasy to some, the cleanser can under-cleanse very oily skin, and the AHA toner can be too strong for sensitized users.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE KRAVE BEAUTY!! this brand checks off all the boxes: it’s affordable, it’s high quality, it’s effective, etc. only downside is that at the moment the only way to purchase the products is through their website (hope that will change in the future).

  • I swear by this brand for skincare. Great Barrier Relief has completely transformed by skin and I definitely notice a difference when it's not a part of my routine. The Makeup Re-Wined is also my holy grail cleanser for removing make-up. I really wanted to love The Oat So Simple Water Cream but didn't work so well for my skin. Overall I love the products I mentioned and have repurchased them time and time again. I also love how transparent they are as a company and the steps they are taking to become more sustainable!

  • I love Krave! The matcha hemp hydrating cleanser has been a staple in my routine for the last three years. It cleans my face without stripping it and leaves it feeling healthy and hydrated. Another favorite of mine is the great barrier relief serum, it's perfect when using retinol or tretinoin.

  • Love, love, love KraveBeauty. I've been following this brand since its inception. Fantastic formulas, pioneers of skin barrier repair in the American skincare market, priced fairly, aesthetically pleasing branding, and surprising commitment to sustainability for a beauty brand (selling batches of slightly off formulas, carbon offset shipping, intentional use of glass v. plastic, etc.). The products line is great alone, but I think Leah Yoo's videos describing the intentionality of the ingredients and formulations really maximize my understanding and overall experience with the brand.

  • I have Used Krave Beauty for years and love them. I love their mission to simplify the process and reduce waste. I love the matcha cleanser, the great barrier relief-body and face is a superhero product.

I’ve only tried the barrier relief serum, but I thought it was very nice overall. It wasn’t a miracle worker, but it felt nice and soothing going on. The smell, however, was kind of medicinal -if that could be removed, it would be worth 4.5stars!

  • I love the Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser. It is so soothing to my skin. I recently tried their new Makeup Rewind Jelly Oil Cleanser. It helps remove my makeup and is a great first step before washing with their Matcha Cleanser.

  • Their Snack Pack is the PERFECT travel-size kit to test out their products! I'm in love with the Great Barrier Relief + Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser. Everything feels so gentle on my skin. So far, so good!

  • I wanted to love this brand so badly! I feel like it was just 'meh' for me. I really admire their commitment to sustainability and their overall mission, but I feel like there are brands out there that are even more affordable and have more oomph with their formulation.

  • I have tried the matcha hemp hydrating cleanser, great barrier relief, and the makeup re-wined. All three products I would and probably will repurchase. They are all effective, worth the money (not even that pricey), and ....just kidding there doesn't need to be any other reason. I would try more of their products but I have ones in my routine that work for me that I don't want to change. Loooove!

  • i used krave products for a few months and really loved almost all of them. They were all very gentle and nourishing, except the face wash which dried out my skin. The great barrier relief serum was especially hydrating!

  • Pretty good! I enjoyed using these products and would definitely use again.

  • Really loved the whole experience using this brand. The Great Barrier Relief is great. Their commitment to sustainability is authentic and honest. I bought their body wash that was upcycled from face wash that would have otherwise been wasted, and I really loved their messaging around all of that. They also have great emails!

  • The sunscreen is my favorite from this brand and i’m so glad it’s back. it is the only sunscreen i want to use. It is great for darker skin too.

  • Krave Beauty offers a range of products, including cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreens, and serums. Some of their most popular products include the Great Barrier Relief serum, which is designed to soothe and repair damaged skin, and the Beet the Sun sunscreen, which provides broad-spectrum protection without leaving a white cast on the skin.

  • I’ve tried the beat shield, matcha hemp hydrating cleanser, and the great barrier relief balm. Beat the sun is my favorite moisturizing yet lightweight sunscreen and the great barrier relief balm worked well for my dry skin. The matcha hemp hydrating cleanser, however, was as but drying for my skin.

  • I have been using various KraveBeauty products for a little over a year. Their AHA is a great solution, and their Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleaner is a gentle yet effective face wash. I haven't noticed much difference in my skin with the Great Barrier Relief, which sucks because people rave about it. I love what the company stands for and that they are always willing and ready to change if the customers say there is an issue.

This is great if you're looking for a simple routine with all the major components.

  • Love the branding and products! Great to follow Liah as a content creator and founder who promotes transparency in the beauty industry!

  • Really sad they discontinued The Beet Shield. It was the best sunscreen ever :(

    Bring back some sunscreen! Lol

  • The matcha hemp cleanser is nice. At first I didn't care for it but kept using it and realized it's not drying. It has no fragrance which I love because of having allergies.
