KraveBeauty earns favorable reviews for gentle, effective basics—Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, Great Barrier Relief, and Beet The Sun sunscreen frequently calm sensitive skin, boost hydration, and layer well under makeup. Reviews also flag drawbacks: Oat So Simple and some moisturizers can feel too light or sting, Great Barrier Relief may pill or feel greasy to some, the cleanser can under-cleanse very oily skin, and the AHA toner can be too strong for sensitized users.

The Matcha Hemp Hydrating cleanser has quickly become a favorite of mine! It does such a good job at breaking down residual makeup and oils and leaves my face feeling very clean, moisturized, and nourished. There have been plenty of other cleansers that have left my face feeling rather stripped of hydration so I’m glad I was able to find a product that works so well on my face.
The matcha hemp hydrating cleanser is everything! It smells great and leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized.

LOVE great barrier relief. it’s an absolutely unmatched serum. I’ve tried competitors’ versions and they don’t hold a candle to Krave. It works great on my sensitive skin and I love the smell. Consistent rebuy for me!
I don't get the hype. The couple of products I tried were good for sensitive skin, but the cleanser didn't blow me away and the serum ending up pilling after a bit. Probably wouldn't ever repurchase tbh.

This cleanser has my heart. It’s hydrating and so so soothing but cleanses so effortless. Krave beauty never disappoints 🥹
I love everything I have tried from this brand. Good for my sensitive skin. The GBR serum is one I always need a backup of.

I swear by the Great Barrier Relief serum! I started using this at the beginning of Covid when my skin was freaking out. Completely transformed my skin. It is a bit on the thicker side, but doesn’t feel heavy at all! Went through about 7-8 bottles of them. Not to mention the newer packaging is such a great idea! I did find the oat cream wasn’t as hydrating as I would’ve preferred, even as an oily girl
I have followed Krave's founder, Liah Yoo, for years, and have built my skincare routines around her advice. Recently, my skin went totally haywire and I needed to build a new routine. I ordered Krave's Great Barrier Relief serum, Oat So Simple moisturizer, and Beet the Sun sunscreen, and the Makeup Re-Wined 'Pilot'. After just a few days, I noticed a big difference in my compromised skin barrier. The sunscreen in particular is excellent. I have very sensitive eyes and constantly struggle with stinging from my sunscreen. It's never been an issue with Beet the Sun. The Re-Wined cleanser has replaced double cleansing for me, a much gentler option to get all my daytime skincare off. Their sustainability practices are really impressive. The serum container can be easily broken down into recyclable and non-recyclable parts. The Makeup Re-Wined 'Pilot' is a discounted version of their makeup remover; this batch was not the right consistency, and instead of just dumping all of the product, they offered it at a lower price. Overall, the price point is great, the products deliver, and it feels less wasteful than other brands. Excited to try more from this line.
Overall pretty gentle skincare although something in their moisturizers like great barrier relief and oat so simple stings my skin a little bit but I have super sensitive skin. Currently trying out the kale-ah-luyah toner which sometimes is too strong and burns my skin but as long as I use it infrequently it seems to be all right. I’ve been following liah yoo, the creator for a while now and I do love everything the brand stands for and all of her ideals.

I’ve tried almost the entire line of products. The Great Barrier Relief serum is the stand out of the line, and to this day has not left my skincare shelf! The Beet the Sun sunscreen is great as well. Not sticky, applies well under makeup, and, since the reformulation, provides great SPF protection

Amazing products that support skin barrier function, without being harsh or stripping. Loved their original sunscreen and excited for the relaunch.

Krave Beauty's Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser has been my go-to facial cleanser for several years now. Reliable formula, gentle on my skin. (I have super dry skin and this doesn't feel moisture-stripping at all.) Love the clean, simple ingredient list. Also adore the fact that they're an Asian woman-owned small business. I've noticed recently that they've revamped their packaging design to be even cleaner and simpler than before - in a good way :) I've also tried their oat-based moisturizer, and while I lvoe the concept, it simply wasn't moisturizing enough for my dry skin. Guessing it could work well for others though.

I haven't yet tried their newer formulation of sunscreen, but very curious about it.

I have been using the matcha cleanser for around 3 years now. I have not tried anything else because this is the perfect cleanser. It has an amazing skin feel with a luxurious foam and an even better after-feel. I have dry skin and this cleanser never leaves my skin dry or tight. The price tag is also amazing!
I have the Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser and think it’s great! It keeps my skin squeaky clean without feeling too dry. I hope to try the great barrier relief next!

Would love if this brand were carried at Sephora/similar to make it more accessible
Beet the sun sunscreen is amazing, but living in Canada I will say shipping was slow . I would recommend doing an auto ship so your never in a pinch for your faves! All and all great brand for beginner skin care girlies!
I started with the matcha cleanser and purchased the travel set with the cleanser, moisturizer, toner and serum. I've since purchased at least 6 more bottles of the cleanser, it's so gentle and soothing on my skin and leaves it feeling clean and gently moisturized. I enjoyed all the other products but the other one I would repurchase is the serum. The moisturizer was nice but a little too light for a Canadian winter.
My actual holy grail. The Great Barrier Relief is my all-time favorite product out of all skincare brands that I've used. I love the brand's focus on simplicity and only buying what is essential. A lot of my past skincare issues were due to overdoing it on all sorts of products, so stripping down to just using Krave Beauty and a couple other serums has made a world of difference for my skin. I also hugely respect their commitment to transparency and sustainability.
Have bought 5 matcha hemp hydrating cleansers. A staple in my routine love it so much. Always hydrated my skin and never leaves it dry.
Great Skincare products! I'm a huge fan of Liah's youtube channel and their overall approach to skincare. I have all of their products. I've noticed substantial improvement to my skin after usage of their products. Bought, rebought and used up their products multiple times. I suggest this as the first brand any time someone asks my for skincare suggestions.
I've been using the Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser on and off for years. No matter how many times I try to venture out and try a new cleanser, I always end up returning to this one. My face feels amazing after using this and it's a fantastic price point for the product itself.
