  • Exceptional insulation performance

  • Heavy, bulky bottles

Hydroflask earns strong reviews as a durable, well‑insulated staple that keeps water icy for hours or days and survives years of hard use, but it’s heavy and dents easily. Reviewers praise fun colors, sizes, and interchangeable lids, while noting shortcomings like leaky or hard‑to‑clean straw tops, limited cap/mouth options, and heat retention that lags for some food jars and coffee cups.

  • I have had multiple water bottles across my life. This one is by far my favorite. Sturdy enough, and keeps my water cold. I love the customizable option they now offer with all the color options and sizes.

  • I have the 32oz bottle with the straw top and the 21oz bottle with the standard mouth top. I also have the 12oz coffee cup with the flex lid. I absolutely love Hydroflask's products because of how durable they are and how well they maintain the interior temperature. The colors are great too!

I have had my 32oz bottle for three years now and it has held up extremely well. It only has a few dents in it (which are definitely due to my own fault) and the bottle has survived many falls. I once dropped it in my high school parking lot and it rolled for about 50 yards as I chased it, and the bottle was still completely fine, didn't leak, and only barely scratched. Improvement-wise, although the price is a bit expensive, the product certainly holds its value.

  • Keeps your hots hot and your colds cold!

Light most double-walled containers, it’s a bit in the heavy side. And on a very rare occasion the rubber gasket can slip out, leading to leaks.

  • pretty bulky but definitely worth it, kept my beverage cool for most of the day

  • Simply put, Hyrdoflask does it job: keeps my drink cold. And it's extremely durable. That's pretty much it as far as my water bottle criteria goes.

  • These suckers are so dang durable. I've had mine for 6 years? 7 years? and it still looks brand new. I use it weekly, toss it on the top rack of the dishwasher and tote it all about town. Drinks stay cool for hours (5+) and it doesn't sweat/make a mess in my car cup holder or on my desk.

  • Hydro Flask has become my go-to gym bottle ever since I received a 24oz bottle as a gift at a company event. Its insulation technology keeps my water refreshingly cool, even during intense workouts. I appreciate the durability and leak-proof design, making it a reliable companion for all my fitness activities. The Hydro Flask has quickly become an essential part of my gym routine, ensuring I stay hydrated and refreshed throughout my workouts.

  • Hydro flask is a great company with a great product. Their main differentiators are the screw-on caps, handle, and customizable options.

Hydro Flask makes a wonderful product with accessible accessories. The marketing alone is genius and helps browsers become buyers. Very welcoming brand, with high quality materials.

  • Good quality, sturdy products. Especially love their travel containers!

  • I have had my hydro flask for around 3.5 years and it has held up great! I use it everyday and it always keeps my water cold!

  • My Hydroflask water bottle is going on 10 years strong, with only one small dent where I dropped it on a curb. These things are made to last.

  • Great product! Having such a reliable water bottle is such an essential in my case. I am always thirsty, and I hate using excess plastic. As someone who drinks a lot of water, this is a great option to reduce my waste output, plus they’re cute and easily customizable! I currently have a small white one, but soon I hope to upgrade to a larger one. 11/10 would recommend!

  • They work just as good as the higher priced cup. Love the interchangeable tops.

  • I've had my 32oz Hydroflask for well over 5 years and put it through the wringer. It's held up the entirety of its lifespan, but doesn't keep my drinks as cold as it used to. Apparently all the dents I've accrued affects the bottle's insulation and makes it not as effective (who would've thought!). While looking this up I found out about their trade-in program and am now looking into retiring my bottle. It was worth the price and served me well.

  • I would never defile my hydroflask with anything other than ice cold H2O and it does a great job of keeping it cool. I also tend to beat up my stuff and this thing barely has a scratch which is saying something. Only minor thing: it can be kinda hard to clean the threads inside the top. As good as advertized.

  • I'm a bit clumsy, which means things like water bottles get knocked round more than average. I've had my Hydroflask for a year now. It's a 21 oz (621 ml) Standard Mouth Bottle. It's still as good as ever and, critically, hasn't leaked once. It holds hot or cold liquids if you choose the mouth opening (basically just the screw top and the bottle) and you can choose from a wide mouth or standard mouth opening diameter. The standard mouth is plenty big enough for me personally to drink from if I want to hydrate quickly. If you're not planning to use it for hot liquids, you can also choose a bottle with straw cap, or buy the straw cap separately if you change your mind later. Beware that the 'Insulated Sport Cap' isn't leak-proof. I'm not sure when you'd use this over the Flex Straw Cap, which is leak proof when closed. All in, this does the job and the added bonus if you can put the bottle and the lid in the dishwasher. Perfect.

  • Hydroflask makes solid products that get the job done and offers a wide range of attractive colors to choose from. The bottles, mugs, thermoses, and so on keep beverages hot or cold for extended periods, which is a definite plus. However, while Hydroflask has its merits, it faces stiff competition from other brands offering comparable performance at more affordable prices. While the brand may have built a reputation for quality, there are alternative options available that provide similar functionality without the hefty price tag.

  • Love, love, love my hydro flask!!! It is my go-to waterbottle and I also love how many different options there are for lids. It fits a huge amount of water and stays cold for DAYS. they have so many amazing colors and they're always coming out with new ones too.

  • I'm trying not to hoard several of these but how could you not? I have four in different colors and sizes. There's no other water bottle that I trust to take with me on hiking and backpacking trips. My 32oz has survived the perilous trail along the Na Pali Coast, withstood 20mph gusts at the top of Angel's Landing, the 24oz kept me cool, calm and collected at the Grand Canyon and kept me warm under the moonlight while kayaking from the Hoover Dam. At this point, the Hydros are more reliable than most husbands.

  • Pros: The larger bottles hold a great amount of water and will keep your beverage cold all day. Cons: bulky, heavy, does not fit in all car cup holders, and not dishwasher friendly.
