  • The Ceramide Moisturizer is really the workhorse of this duo. Its application experience deserves a closer look. When I press down on the airless pump, it dispenses a perfectly measured amount of a crisp, white cream that looks dense but feels incredibly airy the moment it touches my skin. When I spread out the cream. It has a high-slip, almost watery “burst” quality. It moves effortlessly across my face. It perfect if you like to use a cushion-style application or a gentle tapping motion to ensure even coverage. It feels cooling on contact, instantly taking down any lingering heat or tightness from a long day. When it comes to absorption, unlike heavier balms that require a lot of working in, this doesn’t need it. It absorbs within seconds, transitioning from a wet, silky slip to a velvety, soft-matte finish. It avoids that “filmy” feeling entirely. I can feel that my barrier is bolstered. When I run my fingers across my cheek, there’s zero tackiness.

  • I really didn’t notice much of a difference with this product. I don’t much care for the smell of this product. While I appreciate that the goal is to make a refillable product so you can amp up your retinol, I hate that the a glass outer is half frosted with clear bubble. You can kinda see what’s inside but it’s not exactly aligned. I know that’s so picky, but it detracts any luxury feeling from the brand.

  • I was introduced to Fig.1 through a Nift offer. I first tried the sunscreen, which was pleasant and worked well without leaving a messy white residue. Now I'm trying the night serum and waiting to see if there is a long-term benefit. The products can be ordered through the company's website (as I have not been able to find them in local stores).

  • I wanted to give it a couple weeks before giving my full review. I’ve been using this retinol nightly and my skin is smooth, bright, and has improved when it comes to redness. My skin is on the sensitive side but I am able to use the cream nightly without issue. It’s fragrance free, which is great for sensitive skin, too. The packaging is so nice to look at, I don’t mind leaving it out on the counter. AND it’s refillable? Sign me up. I love this product.

  • Love the packaging, feeling of the night cream, and simplicity of their concept. It's such a great way to get started with retinols without the fear or complexity. I have now upgraded to the Level 2 cream, and it's so cool that I can just purchase the refill and add it to my existing (luxurious-feeling) glass bottle. I just wish they offered an easy way to travel with it, since it's so large!

  • It’s actually pretty gentle! I love the packaging although it can be clunky to travel with. I think it’s a smart thing to purchase if you plan on using serum from the brand indefinitely since you can easily refill it.

  • I took a bit of time to write this review to make sure I had time for my skin to react, and I am extremely thrilled with the results! I had just started using a retinol serum a few weeks before buying this, but my skin was drying out, so I was excited when I saw Fig.1 has different levels to slowly adjust your skin to it. I've had no breakouts or skin irritations, but I also don't have the most sensitive skin. The pump works great and the lotion is creamy and goes on smooth without being too oily. I will definitely be purchasing Level 2 once I finish this bottle! The biggest drawback is the size of the bottle, it was significantly larger and heavier than I thought it would be (although it looks great on my counter), so it doesn't work great for traveling or fitting into a skincare fridge.

  • Overall solid product (literally, and figuratively). The bottle is hefty and nicely made. The idea of it being refillable is interesting though, since the actual product comes in a separate bottle that you screw into the pump, so it still feels a touch wasteful. The product itself has a nice consistency - she's thick and creamy, goes on easily seems to absorb into the skin quickly.

  • I received this as part of a thingdrop and was excited to test the brand. Overall I like their packaging and products. I like how educational their website and products are. It is a brand I would recommend to a beginner interested in spending on high quality products but not breaking the bank while learning about the products for their skin. The retinol level one has been good for my sensitive skin with no issues. Will likely move up to level 2 when I finish the bottle, but still I only use this every few days it will take a bit of time. Like other reviews said, the bottle is big and heavy but looks good out on a shelf. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase but it’s not mind blowing.

  • To touch on the positives, I love the packaging and how the outer container is reusable. This product looks so great just sitting on my counter, and the aesthetics make it very appealing. I also think it works well and the texture is very nice and creamy. I did, however, have some issues on the shipping/customer service-side of things--my initial package never arrived, but they did send me a replacement which I really appreciated, but shipping is so slow and it took so long to get the product. I also received an email prior to the arrival that it would include 4 samples of their level 2 product to start using after I finish this one, but I unfortunately did not receive those samples. It was such a small thing that I didn't want to bother having to email customer service again, but I appreciate when a brand sticks to the small details and it seems like some things are getting lost. Due to these small frustrations, I'm not sure if I would buy this product again but I did enjoy the product itself.

  • My favorite part is that they have different levels of retinol and encourage you to start small and move up when ready. I'm still on the first level so I can't speak to their other products, but I have no complaints and my skin is adjusting at a nice pace. I have tried Differin gel in the past, but like that this is already mixed with cream and I don't have to be so careful applying a concentrated product. Obviously the packaging is excellent and fun to use, so that's a huge bonus. It feels like a luxe product at a more reasonable price.

  • The packaging is a lot bigger than I thought but I love the fact that it is refillable. I just started with this retinol and my sensitive skin has tolerated it well. I do not use retinol every day (every 3rd day for me), and it’s been great. The product feels light and does not have a scent, so I really like it. I look forward to continued use of this product.

  • This Retinol night cream arrived safely and carefully packaged. I think the container and idea behind it is very nice. The cream itself I think has a nice texture and a little goes a long way. I've not used Retinol cream before so honestly I'm learning about it and this is my introduction. I feel like I need to mix it with a dab of water before applying it because my face seems to break out a little otherwise. But I'm very much learning what works for my face. I do think my skin has been bright and though I've got hormonal acne at the moment I think it's been helping with the appearance of some fine lines.

  • I used a retinol before but loved the price tag on this. The initial bottle is less percentage than what I’ve been using, but will definitely buy the next bottle up. I’ve been using every night and although the bottle is fairly large, it doesn’t bother me snd refillable! So far, saving me money than sticking with the more pricier brand.

  • Your glycolic glow serum has changed my evening skincare routine for the better. My esthetician even points out what a difference she has seen in my skin since incorporating this into my routine.

  • I really like this formulation - it hasn't been irritating for my skin and is performing like other high end retinol i have tried. Level 1 is only .15% retinol, which is a bit low for me in my current routine. I have also tried the stronger formulation from Fig.1 and found it to be very soothing as well.

  • Wanted to wait several weeks / month before reviewing. and OMG I am obsessed. the product packaging looks luxurious, durable, love the refillable concept. The Retinol Level 1 has not broken me out at all like past retinols I've used, and my skin has been looking clearer / brighter / more smooth. And my package randomly got delivered 20 minutes away, customer service was very helpful - luckily my package was delivered to my address to the right place, I updated them - and they offered me a coupon since my package was delayed and I had to wait. I will be repurchasing. They are a very clean & effective skincare product!!

  • Very smooth, I have not been using every night as I have sensitive skin , package is much larger than I expected but the option to use it as a refill is great.
