Fig.1 Reviews

4.5

Fig.1 earns positive reviews for gentle, effective formulas—particularly its Retinol Level system and Ceramide Moisturizer—delivering smoother, brighter skin with minimal irritation, though some users experience breakouts or little visible change. Reviewers praise the refillable, hefty glass packaging and fast-absorbing, fragrance-free textures, while noting drawbacks like bulky, travel-unfriendly bottles, occasional pump issues, disliked or faint scent preferences, and mixed reactions to the retinol’s strength and results.

  • The Ceramide Moisturizer is really the workhorse of this duo. Its application experience deserves a closer look. When I press down on the airless pump, it dispenses a perfectly measured amount of a crisp, white cream that looks dense but feels incredibly airy the moment it touches my skin. When I spread out the cream. It has a high-slip, almost watery “burst” quality. It moves effortlessly across my face. It perfect if you like to use a cushion-style application or a gentle tapping motion to ensure even coverage. It feels cooling on contact, instantly taking down any lingering heat or tightness from a long day. When it comes to absorption, unlike heavier balms that require a lot of working in, this doesn’t need it. It absorbs within seconds, transitioning from a wet, silky slip to a velvety, soft-matte finish. It avoids that “filmy” feeling entirely. I can feel that my barrier is bolstered. When I run my fingers across my cheek, there’s zero tackiness.

  • I really didn’t notice much of a difference with this product. I don’t much care for the smell of this product. While I appreciate that the goal is to make a refillable product so you can amp up your retinol, I hate that the a glass outer is half frosted with clear bubble. You can kinda see what’s inside but it’s not exactly aligned. I know that’s so picky, but it detracts any luxury feeling from the brand.

  • I was introduced to Fig.1 through a Nift offer. I first tried the sunscreen, which was pleasant and worked well without leaving a messy white residue. Now I'm trying the night serum and waiting to see if there is a long-term benefit. The products can be ordered through the company's website (as I have not been able to find them in local stores).

  • I wanted to give it a couple weeks before giving my full review. I’ve been using this retinol nightly and my skin is smooth, bright, and has improved when it comes to redness. My skin is on the sensitive side but I am able to use the cream nightly without issue. It’s fragrance free, which is great for sensitive skin, too. The packaging is so nice to look at, I don’t mind leaving it out on the counter. AND it’s refillable? Sign me up. I love this product.
