Reviews mention

  • Refined visual design
  • Durable leash construction
  • Quiet silicone toys
  • Multifunctional leash usability
  • Stiff collar material
  • Scratch-prone metal hardware
  • Noisy crate door
  • Fragile toy durability

Fable reviews assert the brand works as a design-forward pet brand: reviewers praise visually refined, durable leashes, attractive furniture-style crates, and engaging silicone toys, but report inconsistent hardware durability, stiff collars, noisy or insecure crate doors, and some fragile toys. This makes Fable a strong buy for buyers prioritizing aesthetics, versatility, and quieter silicone play; cautious buyers should note fit and longevity concerns for collars, leash hardware, and certain toys before purchasing.

  • Crate: Expensive but worth it. Chic, durable, functional...my dog loves it. Could not recommend more. Bed: Annoying to wash because it is a snug fit but that was to be expected. I absolutely love it otherwise/overall Bowls: High quality and minimalist - LOVE

  • My dog Koda loves his Fable pet toys and cannot get enough of them! He's always playing with his new toys and I'm excited to get him additional goodies from Fable soon.

  • Dog bed is a nice size, but the material makes it feel a bit lumpy, and the washable sleeve can get dirty-looking pretty fast. Our dog preferred it with a towel or blanket over it.

    Feedback

Material could feel less lumpy; sleeve shows dirt easily.

  • I love the look of my Fable Signature Leash & Collar. I have had both for nearly 4 years, so I can vouch that they are pretty durable and easy to clean. I think they're the best looking dog accessories on the market (aside from Lunge, which is nearly 3x more expensive). The collar is very "stiff" though and not easy to adjust. I reached out to them about this issue when I first purchased the collar, and they sent me a new one, and it had the same problem. You'll see what I mean in my photo of the collar sitting on the floor - the loop part does does not flatten, so the collar doesn't sit flat around my dog's neck. After years of use, it does feel loose sometimes and I'm tightening it often. My dog doesn't try to run away but I can imagine it might be easy for a dog to escape from this. Some screws in the clip part of the collar also came loose over a year ago. They have never fallen out and I just have to push them back in. Photo below as well, and of the general wear & tear after 4 years of use on an 80lb dog! Maybe now their products are better quality - I'd be open to re-ordering but if I have any of these issues again I would definitely be contacting customer service. Overall I would recommend their products if you care about aesthetics and ease of cleaning!

  • We bought this crate to double as a nightstand in our studio apartment. It's beautiful and is a perfect size for our Italian Greyhound! The only thing that is not my favorite is that if the door slips out of my hand, it can crash down quite loud. That is user error more than anything, but something to be aware of if you have a jumpy pup like us.

  • I have used the leash with my 80 pound pitty for 3 years now and it is in great condition. I like that I can walk him handless and it makes me feel very secure knowing that he cannot just pull the leash and break free. I’d recommend for anyone with a dog that pulls, I use it with a harness. Very effective.

  • But the falcon toy and it only lasted 15 minutes with my dog before it started to fall apart. Made my dogs mouth bleed.

    Stop selling expensive garbage

  • I've had a few Fable leashes and toys, and they were great. Dogs don't really care about how design forward their toys are, so these nuances have been lost completely on both my dogs. I finally bought the crate, though not directly from Fable-- mine was a hand me down. The small is much larger than you think, and the door is less secure than I'd expected it to be. I don't think I'd buy this full price or recommend doing it, even though I've been dying for it for so long! $400-800 is quite a lot for a dog crate and besides being objectively the best looking option on the market, the function here isn't special. It really is just a wood box with some holes and a rickety door. It's a bummer because I really believe in the whole "not ugly crate" and "crate as furniture" movement... but we need to all hold hands together and find a way to make that not cost $800. I wouldn't buy the crate again but I will keep on as a customer for leashes, toys, and other stuff they come up with! Really like the colors.

  • It was okay. The leashes were a bit too stretchy for my human-sized pups but they would likely work well for smaller dogs.

    Feedback

I'd like the leashes to be a bit longer and to see options on all of the products for jumbo-sized dogs.

  • Bought The Game. Took over a month to get it due to delays in shipping but I'm glad I finally received it! My dog hasn't quite mastered the game yet but she seems much more interested in eating her kibble with this compared to eating it out of her bowl. Has a nice quality feel to it. Larger than it looks in the photos.

Shipping was very slow and would have appreciated better follow up from the company to keep me updated on the status of my order (there was no outreach from them, I had to reach out multiple times to get an update).

  • I splurged on the leash and I don't know how I lived without it. It is so versatile and a handsfree walk with my dog has been a lifechanging experience. After 2 years, I experienced some significant wear on the hardware of the leash -- but I emailed them and the customer service was absolutely amazing. Within a week a new one was on its way to me. I really appreciated this and they won me over as a lifetime customer and have evangelized many friends with this product. I have tried the collar but the hardware for the clip was a bit heavy and ultimately replaced it, opting for something more lightweight for my pup. I would love to try their other "PLAY" products but their price-points have not made the leap quite feel worth it -- especially when there are cheaper enrichment products out there that do the trick. I do love the look of their dog crates, and would consider the splurge since it is a one time purchase on what is essentially a piece of furniture-- but they don't make one large enough for my lab/shepherd mix.

Please make a size L crate!

  • Super high quality - we have the crate, bed, and multiple accessories. My puppy loves the food play toys - they actually work! I especially love that the food games are made of silicone, so they aren't loud and obnoxious when my puppy is playing with them and I'm on a work call.

  • I recently got a new puppy for my family. Found Fable and fell in love with their products. They are not only cool looking but very curated. I love their crate. I was very hesitant about getting a regular crate because for me it was a big addition to my house, and I didn't want it to disrupt the rest of the work I put into the interior design of my home. Fable was able to deliver a beautiful crate, that blends nicely with my place.

    More color options!

  • Really like the leash! Very light weight and love all the different ways you can use it. Love the light blue color too!

  • Bought the Falcon and The Game for my dog and she loves them! She took to the Game rather quickly and will keep playing for a while. She likes licking peanut butter off the Falcon but hasn't really chewed on it much.

    Feedback

The Game is great and can really keep your dog entertained. The Falcon is well built but may not be good for smaller dogs or dogs that aren't big chewers.

  • Great, high quality products. The leashes are high quality and super functional and make walking the dogs super fun and easy.

    Feedback

The metal fixtures on the leashes scratch super easy which is annoying from an aesthetic sense since the leashes are expensive.
