Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

their stuff is nice but tends toward boxier fits which isn’t always my aesthetic
Everything I have purchased for ever lane is great quality and a great price. They have become one of my go-tos for basics.
I've purchased a few items from Everlane over the years, and generally the denim is pretty reliable. However, I have a curvier frame, and it's hard to find a pair that fits properly around the waist. I've tried several pairs in-store, and haven't found a winner yet. One of those pairs was the Curvy Way-Hi jean in vintage indigo. The fit around the hips and waist was decent, but the legs were way too short. I'm 5'8" with longer legs, and they ended up giving highwaters. If they offered a longer in-seam version, I'd be inclined to give them another try. The Way High Drape Pant is a comfortable trouser that is easy to dress up or down. I purchased these in the regular length and they're a good length for me. Last item I currently own is their The Ribbed Tank Dress in color Beech. I loved this dress at first, but it stains waaay too easily. I wanted it to be my casual everyday kinda dress, but I'm super paranoid to eat in it as even spilling a little something is a pain to get out. Good WFH outfit option though in maybe a darker color if they offer it.
I love this brand and it's mission. The quality is great and the price point too.

Good-looking normcore DTC apparel brand. Quality appears to be midlevel. Feels a tad expensive for the quality.
Great clothing, best jeans, easy returns! My only gripe is that sizing is all over the place - reviews are helpful for figuring out what will fit best.
The items that I have purchase has been high-quality and lasted. The newer designs are a bit tired, and have lost their more fashion-forward angle. Still strong for basics.
I've been a fan of Everlane since the early days when they only had a few items and was very curated. I get a little overwhelmed with how much they have now, but I think their price point and quality is still really strong. It's easy to satisfy free shipping requirements and they have Happy Returns which I find very easy. Only gripe is that they're out of stock of a jumpsuit I really want!

Clothes fit so strange and even between units in the same SKU and size (same fabric and style and size) there can be differences in fit? Very strange. Like the mission but not as transparent on sustainability as I’d like. Very nice basics and def can find good long lasting quality items but feels hit or miss and need to go into store to try things on to ensure fit.
I have loved Everlane for at least 6 years. Most of my closet is Everlane pieces. They last forever and are ethically/sustainably made. My one critique is they tend to go through phases and REALLY lean into certain looks (currently, everything is boxy, which is not a great look on many body shapes). Their jeans last forever and have a great appearance. Overall, excellent brand!
I would rate this higher if I had tried more products from there. All I have gotten was a pair of jeans and they were amazing!
Everlane is a staple when it comes to basics & simply designed, high-quality apparel & accessories. The price to value ratio for Everlane is much better relative to many similarly 'in' brands. The 100% Human line (which, depending on where you live, can become 100% New York or 100% Chicago) is a nice whimsical design touch. Denim & t-shirts are two of my favorite product lines. Sweaters are good but the knit fabrics' quality is not quite exceptional. Outerwear & accessories are also quite solid. I don't go to Everlane for discovery, but it's above Uniqlo on my basics list. You can find me in my 100% Austin tee at least once a month :)
There are a lot of items I've loved from Everlane. Sometimes the style feels a little dated or unflattering though. The quality has held up on almost everything I've bought. I usually feel I can mix and match it and will continue to buy. I like so much that they think about good working conditions in their factories.
High quality clothes and good sale prices!
Big fan. Their products are well-made, high quality, and fit very well. I'm a big fan of their pants - especially the linen ones which I've been wearing to the office quite a bit this summer. Really good place to get basics/build a capsule wardrobe.
I got these two simple ribbed Pima cotton tees, and man, I'm hooked on the brand. The quality is top-notch!
I love Everlane! In particular, I like their jeans and I have an oversized flannel button-down that I wear nonstop. Everything fits true to size for me and is high quality.

I’ve been a huge fan of Everlane since they launched but I have a huge disclaimer for women with curves / “romantic Kibbe bodies”. This stuff is classic, iconic, and comfortable but it’s all designed to fit a skinny curveless person. With that being said, I love the their tees and turtlenecks—the fabric quality is top notch.
The quality of the turtleneck I purchased is amazing. It feels good, doesn’t pill after multiple washes, and still have a great color.

Everlane and Madewell (now Quince) are my go to shops for everyday and office casual clothing. Everlane jeans are 👌❤️. Great quality denim. I have some of their collared shirts. The shirt oversize fit for women is def exaggerated and I wish I would have sized down. I wear a large/12 for tops. I’ve heard their body suits and yoga pant is amazing.
