Reviews mention

  • Redness-neutralizing color corrector
  • Deeply hydrating ceramide moisturizer
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulations
  • High-quality, effective sheet masks
  • Inconsistent shade-matching tint
  • Occasionally thick, heavy textures
  • Potentially irritating essential oils
  • Formula separation and pilling

Dr.Jart+ earns largely positive reviews for soothing, redness-neutralizing formulas—especially the Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment and Ceramidin moisturizers—which many say calm sensitive, rosacea‑prone skin and hydrate well. Reviews also flag drawbacks: the Cicapair tint can skew orange or too light on deeper tones, some formulas feel thick, dry, or separate, and certain products contain essential oils that can irritate; results can be hit‑or‑miss across the range.

  • Dr Jart stole from his partner, Dr G - please look into the history of this brand! Dr G is actually my friend's uncle. Dr. Jart products aren't as clean as they say they are, lots of animal testing, unfair labor practices

  • Overrated. Products don't really "do" anything for me. Their face masks are fun, but overpriced

  • Cicaplast cream is 10/10!! Especially if you have rosasea or keratosis pilaris!!!

  • I tried one of their face masks and loved the experience. It left my skin feeling smooth and nourished without being too watery.

  • Skincare is personal - Dr. Jart+ has product lines for a variety of concerns throughout the year and skin type/troubles. It is a long time, OG beauty line from Korea and still successful to this day in such a competitive market for a reason! The products definitely deliver on their promises - heavy moisturizers are heavy, and the lightweight moisturizers are lightweight. They are very "featured ingredient" focused and that's exactly the way you should approach their products. A star is taken off for reformulation of products - particularly their Ceramidin line - that seemed to make the product less effective in their intended use... including me. My personal favorite is the Tiger Grass Color Correcting serum - for reference, I am a medium-neutral and the product is great at reducing redness for no makeup days or makes for a great primer for days when I have a bit of extra redness for makeup to apply on better!

  • amazinggg brand. as someone with sensitive and combination skin, it can be hard to find effective yet soothing products. i can always count of dr jart to do my skin right. the formulas are effective and amazing!! only downside is that the brand is a bit pricey, but it’s worth all the money!!!

  • Love the cicapair tiger grass color corrector. It works great to even out skin tone!

  • This brand has a wide range of products and they all work very well and are unique.

I really like this brand! Not everything is a 5 star hit, but I also haven’t found that anything irritates my sensitive skin, which is always a plus. And I swear by their CC cream. It’s my go-to everyday makeup. It’s not a foundation, and yet it provides great coverage and evens out my skin tone. It provides spf, glides on like a dream, and gives a great glow. I’ve turned several friends and family members onto it as well, and everyone loves it!

  • I have rosacea and my skin is highly sensitive. The tiger grass might mask is amazing for calming my skin and the ceramidin moisturizer is one of the few I can use that won’t make my skin react. It’s thick and provides a protective layer, a must for winter time! The color corrector is also amazing, but only works on fair skin tones.

  • I think this works really well with Asian skin. Smells great!

  • I received the Cicapair color correcting serum in a gift set, and my life was literally changed. I use it instead of foundation for a calming alternative that helps even out of my skin tone. All of their products are formulated with skin barrier protection in mind, and I love that approach. The formulas feel so luxurious, and I love using their sheet masks at the end of a long day.

  • I use Dr Tart Cicaplast green cream almost daily. It counteracts redness in your face and has spf. I don't use enough of the product to get full spf benefits. I honestly buy the travel size of the cream because the larger one is too big and I can't go through the entire tub quickly enough.

  • The Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting is quality-wise a great product. It lasts forever, and holds irs promise to reduce the appearence of blemish skin. However, I have an olive skin tone, and the balm does not agree with that. It is more suitable for red-toned skin.

  • I've tried a variety of Dr. Jart+ products. Fan of the sheets masks. I've been using the Tiger Grass color correcting treatment with SPF for the past 8 months and it's such a unique product. It does help some with reducing redness, but it's a bit hard to blend. I've found that it's crucial to let the treatment fully absorb before applying make up on top, or it will pill - it takes a long time to fully absorb though, far longer than a typical moisturizer in my opinion, so any time I use it, it really slows down my full routine flow. I've also used the Ceramidin serum toner and moisturizer in the past, specifically back when I had to walk a couple miles to and from my college campus during harsh midwest winters. Incredibly moisturizing, but because my skin hates shea butter, I had to discontinue use of the moisturizer. I gave the products to a friend with less acne-prone skin and the Ceramidin combo has been her HG for almost a decade since then!

  • I only tried a smaller sample of the sort of color correcting with built in spf - I think it was cicapair. I really liked the texture, consistency, and results. It goes on sort of creamy green and then blends in really nicely. I do have other brands that I trust more, but would still recommend to someone who wants to try something new

  • I wanted to love this, I really did. It works so well at covering redness and doesn't contain pore clogging ingredients, but I just can't move past the sheer amount of essential oils in this. Although it didn't break me out or give me any new acne, the areas where I used the colour corrector got a little redder, and seemed to be drying out more. I have super dry, sensitive, acne prone skin, so I'm sure this won't be the case for everyone, but if you're a sensitive girlie like me, I probs wouldn't reccommend!

  • Used the tigers grass color correcting for rosacea it worked good but I had to use more than expected. Works best under makeup or a tinted moisturizer.

  • One of the only products I can consistently rely on that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Their moisturizing toner has been a gentle addition to my routine that doesn't cause any redness and I wear their sunblocks daily. Full coverage that doesn't leave a gross film and is perfect before applying liquid or powder foundation on top of.
