Cards Against Humanity

4.5

Cards Against Humanity wins big in reviews for delivering uproarious, easy-to-learn party play that sparks belly laughs, quick bonding, and late-night chaos—especially with larger groups and expansion packs—so yes, it works. Reviews also flag clear drawbacks: humor can be crass/NSFW and alienating for sensitive or mixed-age crowds, cards lose shock value with repetition, and some prompts feel dated or hard to play with certain audiences.

I've played this game plenty of times with my circle of friends and have always had a good laugh.
LOVE THIS GAME!! It makes me laugh and cry all at once!!
I thought Taboo was the best party game until I played Cards Against Humanity. Gut-bustingly funny.

Make sure you play with a group adults with a good sense of humor. Easy for some to get offended.
Classic game, who doesn't know about this by now? Great for any party and always worth having a box for an occasion.

They have some extra packs you can get too with different card topics.

A classic game. I like that it depends deeply on understanding the humor of the people that you are playing with.
Feedback
Some of the cards are definitely racist/sexist etc which can be expected from the game’s name but seems to stand the test of time less and less. Also gets boring pretty quickly and packs to keep the game novel are pretty expensive.

A classic party game. A great addition to any board game collection. The expansion packs make it even more fun after you've played the originals a lot.
Cards Against Humanity is maybe the path of least resistance at any social gathering that needs a bit of forced fun. But the combination of my mom now asking to play and finding a bunch of cards that just haven't aged well has made me groan a bit every time it comes out. That said, the brand seems to be doing a lot of really clever things and seem to have a view on social issues.

Retire some old cards.
First several times playing it is really fun, fun to see what everyone comes up with. However, it can get old really quick, especially playing it with the same group of people.
This is a great party game to play with a bunch of friends. It's super easy to pick up and learn. However, I don't think all prompts are that great / can get repetitive (but there are a lot of expansion packs)
Fun game! Unfortunately, I am terribly unfunny. Got mine brand new at the thrift store for $7, so I'd say it's worth at least $7.
Always a fun game no matter who is playing! I love that you can continue to add packs to the collection to keep the game fresh no matter how many times you play.

This game is fun and hilarious but it's not for the faint of heart! There are quirky expansion packs too.
Hands down the best game to have around when family and friends are over. We’ve bought a few other games over the years but always go back to cards against humanity - especially because they release new packs to add to the deck.
Feedback
Just more new pack release!

It can sometimes be uncomfortable to get uncomfortable with friends, but cards against humanity makes it fun and easy to be goofy and inappropriate… but all in jest! The instructions are easy to understand and straightforward so even if you have never played, you’ll catch on quick.

Such a fun game to play for adult game night! Guaranteed to make you laugh.
Feedback
Need more expansion packs or things can get redundant.
The fun of this game is the raunchiness that ensues. Fun game not to be played in polite company.

Enjoy playing this game with friends. It's a great way to break the ice and everyone I've played with seems to enjoys it. The packaging is easy to point out in a store as well.
Hilarious, offensive, outrageous - all words I would use to describe Cards Against Humanity. Not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. It's kind of like South Park - they make fun of everyone regardless of race, gender, political affiliation, sexual orientation, etc.
Feedback
None here, they keep coming out with new expansion packs to keep it relevant.

Always a good time to play with friends. And they keep it fresh with new cards regularly if you sign up for their email list. We have been playing for years.
