Cards Against Humanity reviews and discussion

This was not a purchase, but I participated in the game itself at work. Honest, I don’t know what they were thinking — likely this is an example of generation gap. Apparently what’s defined as a healthy freedom of expression Amin the 20/30 somethings comes off as just plain rude with those of us attached to a different understanding of appropriate social behavior. As a game? It’s obviously engaging and entertaining - just should not be used in a mixed social setting.

Love playing the cards . I have many of the packs. My only issue is some of the cards are way too offensive to me but that’s the point of the game

A fun game to play

I have had some good laughs playing this game, but it is basically just a dirty/innapropriate version of Apples to Apples. Can definitely be fun with the right group of people though!

This is a game we come back to again and again. The everything bagel extension pack was exactly what we needed. Play only with people you know and trust well and expect to laugh and laugh! Great party game.

Branding and marketing by far are my favorite parts of CAH. The game is simple and a crowd-pleaser with a good sense of humor and awareness.

It got boring really quickly, with a price point like this it isn't worth it.

I’ve played this game and the expansion packs many times with friends. It’s hilarious the first time around, but it gets really old the second game. If you’re okay with buying it and only playing it every once in a while to keep the game fresh, then I would recommend.

A fun party game with friends and family. It can get repetitive if you play often so adding in the extra packs is great!

I love Cards Against Humanity! At first I was nervous to play as I thought I would have to be creative and think on the spot but you use the cards in your hand to fill in the blank which takes off the pressure. It creates a lot of silly and funny moments and it's easy to learn and play. It also doesn't take up a lot of room, which is nice, and there are a variety of expansion packs to keep it fresh.

I really enjoyed Cards Against Humanity when I first got it several years ago. We played it pretty regularly and it is a great party game if you know a good number of the people you are playing with. After playing it quite a bit, it did get old and I haven't played it in quite a while. Overall its a good party game, but the playability does wane a bit over time.
