Burrow earns mixed reviews: the modular sofas and sleek shelving impress for easy assembly, small-space maneuverability, and durable, pet-friendly fabrics, but comfort, cushion longevity, and structural sturdiness vary by collection and time, with reports of sagging, pilling, and firmness. Reviews praise the Range and Nomad lines for flexible configurations and simple moves, while noting inconsistent delivery timelines, limited color options, occasional misaligned hardware, shallow seat depth on some models, and fabric that can trap pet hair or show water marks.

I have mixed feelings about this brand. On one hand i love the innovation behind the design. We purchased a 3 seater & ottoman second hand off facebook marketplace and managed to fit it all in the back of our Audi Q3. However i cant imagine ever having paid full price for it, the quality isnt worth the full retail price. The fabric is pilling and the cushions don't as much support as i would hope for. We did buy the bedframe (during the black friday sale as again the full price is crazy) and so far that has been great.

We bought the Burrow bench to use as a shoe bench. It arrived in three separate, very secure boxes (albeit on different days.) It was straightforward to put together and so far we have been enjoying it. Everything feels high quality (I.e. the materials and build.)

5 years later and our burrow sectional is going strong. Our 100lb lab mix loves to “make it cozy” by pawing at the cushions and it has never ripped. The modular set up works wonderfully for our weirdly shaped living room.

I love the Burrow products and staff are nice, but delivery is abysmal. Three strikes on delivery of the couch I ordered - first they messed up the order, then a delay notice, and I was told this week (Feb. 15) about another two-month+ delay, and to expect it at the end of April. For my bar stools order, they mistakenly sent chairs which were returned - I'm still waiting on the bar stools, although I expect them soon (fingers crossed). This company has some major issues related to distribution and logistics.

We started out with 3 seats in our old apartment and added a new seat since moving into a bigger place. The modularity saved us the hassle of shopping for a brand new couch and the seats held up quite well after 3 apartments (5 year span). I do notice the older seats sink in more than the new ones, but that's to be expected. It's still quite a firm couch and there isn't any pilling but I might start replacing some of the old cushions in a year or two.

The quality of the fabric and material is great for the price. We bought the cream color - it has held up great to stains and is easy to clean with an upholstery cleaner. The couch assembles in just a few minutes (with no tools!) and arrives in giant boxes at your doorstep. We bought The Sleeper Kit and guests have only had good things to say about how comfortable sleeping on the couch was. Our neighbors bought the leather version of the couch, and wow...just wow. The leather is so soft and buttery.

Wouldnt mind seeing a cool accent chair.

I've owned two Burrow couches, one of the "Original" sofas and a new, big Range sectional, both in fabric. The original Burrow has been through three moves (all within NYC) and the frame and hardware are still in great shape, and although the cushions are slowly starting to lose their structure, it's still perfectly comfortable. If I need to request replacement cushions, I will, but so far there's no need. In our most recent move, we got an apartment with a loft, so I moved the couch up there for video games, etc. The Sleep Kit is also pretty awesome for guests. A friend said it was the best sleep he'd ever had on a couch. The new couch, the Range, is a massive sectional we got for our new living room. We ordered it pretty recently after it came out, in November 2020, and it was delivered the first week of February 2021. But, we knew it would be slow, and honestly if you've ever shopped for furniture before, you know that 6 to 8 weeks is a pretty standard wait time even outside of a pandemic. So far, I love it. It's incredibly cozy to curl up in a corner and watch TV. Yesterday, hungover as hell, my girlfriend and I both curled up for basically 8 hours straight, napping here and there. Our cats try to scratch it, and eventually I'm sure they'll succeed, but so far the fabric has held up to their claws. I love the modern look, and though it's not for everyone, it's definitely one of my favorite pieces of furniture.

I would love to see Burrow invest more in sustainability efforts. I know furniture is a tough problem to solve, because basically all foams and cushions are petroleum-based, but it feels like there's some room for improvement. I'm glad that the packaging, at least, is plastic-free.

Decent quality for the price but love the look and fairly easy to assemble. Fit perfectly in the space I was looking to fill. I would recommend the brand.

I love my Burrow couch so much. I have the Range set in Moss Green. It's so comfortable, so stylish, so easy to clean, and has held up extremely well over the last 2 years I've had it. I hate when cushions become mishapen/flattened over time and this couch does not at all. I love that I can continue to modify/change the arrangement as I change my space. I actually just bought an extra seat to make the couch a little longer. Also, it's great for a guest to sleep on- super comfortable and roomy once you flip the cushions to the back. Only downside is sometimes you have to wait a really long time for your item to ship if they don't have it in stock.

We purchased a burrow from the original collection at the NYC showroom a few years ago. I wasn't completely sold on it because even in the store they looked a little worn, but the sales person explained that we could replace every single piece of the couch, from individual cushions to the arms. That sold us, and we were very excited to receive the couch. Within a few months there was serious pilling on the fabric, which I needed to use a fabric shaver for really frequently. After about a year, the cushions were severely sagging and you could actually feel the wood underneath the couch. When we reached out to replace the cushions we were told that the fabric had been discontinued (without any notice to us) and we were offered a throw pillow to make up for it. After going back and forth, Burrow offered to send us a new couch base if we purchased the (almost $1,000 worth) of new cushions ourselves. There's no guarantee that the same thing won't happen again, and since the couch is pretty uncomfortable we didn't want to put that amount of money into it. It's been a few years now and the couch looks pretty terrible and the cushions are really uncomfortable. We are shopping for a new couch. You might be better off going with an Ikea couch for the quality. UPDATE: these couches look terrible and the cushions are pilling and sagging like crazy. We are in the market for new couches!

I purchased the one-arm Range sofa and ottoman for a new apartment in Brooklyn and it's the PERFECT fit! I have two roommates and the couch is big enough to seat all of us but was so easy to move into the living room. The color brightens up the whole apartment and is our most complimented piece.

This chair is not only beautiful to look at but incredibly comfortable and ergonomic to sit in. We say it's the perfect height to sit in and pet the dog. It was super easy to put together as well. We're looking forward to getting a Burrow sofa soon!

I've had a great experience with Burrow furniture. I have a nightstand, dresser, and credenza from them. The credenza is a beautiful, high-quality piece, and so easy to put together and move. The nightstand and dresser feel sturdy and look very nice. The drawers for the dresser were a little difficult to get into the dresser but once I figured it out it was fine. Overall I would recommend Burrow's products to people who are interested in affordable, high-quality, stylish furniture.

I have nothing but great things to say about Burrow and their products. I have their Nomad leather sofa and loveseat in my living room and my family and I love it. It's super comfortable and has gotten better as we've broken it in. I also bought the Totem credenza for a TV stand and love the storage it provides. The speed of the shipping was truly impressive, my loveseat arrived in 2 days!

I own a leather love seat and some leather chairs. I am really happy with both. The leather is tan and looks really expensive (even though it was cheaper than others I looked at). Delivery was fast. You have to know it's coming via fedex and has a lot of boxes. But the assembly was pretty easy. And once assembled, you have no idea it ever came in boxes.

I really love my new index wall shelf! It’s so beautiful and easy to put together. I love the many ways I can switch it up unlike some other decor. It looks great and the staff is nice and respectable

I’ve had a great experience with my Burrow products and Burrow’s customer service. My husband and I have had our Nomad sectional for almost 3 years and it has held up really well. It’s easy to clean if we spill anything on it and it stands up well to our cat’s scratches (although thankfully our cat doesn’t scratch the furniture very often; I can’t speak to how well it would hold up to frequent scratching). And when we moved last year, the fact that the sofa is modular and disassembles so easily made moving it totally painless. The movers put it together at our new house in a few minutes without needing to look at instructions or anything, and they even commented on how cool they thought that was. We’ve also had Index wall shelves for quite a while, and those might actually be my favorite Burrow product. Such a clever design and SO easy to hang. More recently though, we bought a Vesper chair and a Serif credenza. The Vesper chair had a manufacturing issue and required a replacement, while the Serif credenza was just a little tricky to assemble. However, Burrow’s customer service team quickly answered my questions and addressed the issues. Would definitely recommend Burrow to anyone in the market for new furniture!

I was skeptical to buy at first, but going to their store in Soho, NY helped me hit buy. My order shipped in 2 days and was delivered in four. The bookcase & chair were so easy to assemble. It took me 2 minutes to assemble both items & I could do it all on my own. The only thing I needed were my hands, I love that about this brand because using hammers & nails is just not my vibe. The quality of the wood for my bookcase is top notch. It's pretty heavy & feels like it's going to last me for a lifetime! As for the chair, it's so comfortable to sit in. I've owned this product for over a year and the seats are still extremely plush & comfortable to sit in. It's my reading it, looks great in almost any setting. The material is durable. 10/10 recommend.

First and last time I will ever buy burrow couches. For the price point you would expect the Nomad couch to be comfortable and durable but neither are the case. We are a family of 2, both average sized people and our Nomad couch and love seat wore out in 2-3 years. The seat cushions are all deformed, fabric is pilled everywhere, seams are separating, and Borrow won’t offer replacements even after I asked to pay for all new cushions. I’ve had much cheaper furniture last well beyond Burrow furniture. Sadly this was an expensive mistake and we will be replacing this furniture way sooner than I ever expected. Burrow furniture that only lasts 2-4 years is not sustainable.

We have three of Burrow's Index Stool's and use them constantly! Aside from a quick place to sit and untie your shoes, they make great side tables and step stools! Anytime we order food a couple of them always end up by the couch as TV trays, and they're super-sturdy to stand on when you need to get something from the top of the bookshelf! The oak and walnut wood textures look great and they stack so nicely when we don't need them out! The stools arrive in four parts (the top plus three legs) and literally only take a minute to assemble. Everything you need is in the box; so easy! We've been using them for over a year and they're still as solid and stable as the day we put them together! Highly recommend!
