This was one of my fave candles, the scent is strong but not overpowering at all

These are middle of the road for me - I've tried a few different scents, and they're definitely nice, but I haven't found one that's a standout. Overall good scents that I can leave burning for a while, but nothing I can't live without.

If you're a fan of smoky scents but also want something with a touch of girly flair, I love the Hinoki Fantome candle scent. It gets its smokiness from the resin, hinoki, and moss. It's not like a bonfire smoke though, it's more sophisticated and woody without smoking you out. The cardamom and jasmine come to round it out and add a bit of romance. Think: kissing by a bonfire with a glass of prosecco. I have been loving it for summer but I think it would also be a great scent to transition into fall (if I don't burn it all before then!) It has great throw even when it's not lit, I can smell it really strongly when I walk by. And like all the Boy Scents candles the glass container is so chic and elegant. I really want to try more scents from them.

Ohhhh, Boy Smells. This is such a splurge for me, but their scents are decadent. I much prefer their candles to their perfumes since I feel that the scent profiles translate more accurately in the candles; however, I do love the Violet Ends perfume. They have an affordable tester kit to find your fragrance, with no gendered advertising or labeling. They’ve also now started doing room sprays and body products, which I haven’t tried, but may indulge in if the reviews looks good!

Nice candles, no scent that I feel I MUST repurchase. Appreciate that they sell larger sizes, too. Really wish they were vegan!

Obsessed with the packaging & scents

Got the Kacey Musgraves Slow Burn candle and I’m obsessed with it. It smells incredible. Has a pretty solid burn time as well. The first burn was a bit rough (burned for a couple hours and still had tunneling happen), but not the end of the world.

Hands down one of the best quality candles and fragrances. At this price point and quality nothing compares. The burn time is very accurate and I never have leftover wax in the base of the candle. Overall it's a great experience from end-to-end and a really great last minute gift option. Every time someone walks into my apartment they always comment on how great it smells and most likely purchase the same candle shortly after.

Absolutely love these candles. Sophisticated, but friendly smells that range from fun, to sexy, to really innovative. They last for a long time and feel like a true indulgence every time you light them. LES and Redhead are favorite scents of mine. I love the colabs they do, and their moody marketing has such amazingg vibe and great explanations so you really have an understanding what a product will smell like before you purchase Also make great gifts- for yourself, your BFFs, the boys in your life, their parents (great meet the parent gift- especially parents of boys with a healthy sense of humor), significant others etc. Quick good shipping in customizable packages.

I love the brand and the mission of gender-less! Honestly I'm a bit sensitive to smells so I weirdly just keep the candle on my nightstand and it's fragrant enough for me without lighting it. I have been gifted a couple of their candles and then I bought the Kacey Musgraves collab and I found that one a bit too overpowering. If you like strong scents, this would be a perfect candle for you because they do have really yummy smells. Just keep that in mind that it's powerful!

This review is for spray-on fragrances. For the price, these have been really interesting, long lasting, unique, and pleasant. I'm really into perfumes and I love that these are not just common popular scents. The sampler set has honestly lasted me a long time! Favorites - Hinoki Fantome, Violet Ends, Les. My only complaint - I was emailed a coupon for a free sample size scent with purchase of a full size bottle. I purchased a bottle of Hinoki Fantome, and my sample smell? Also Hinoki Fantome. Like COME ON, how did you not notice that... still bitter.

I got a mini Hinoki Fantome candle in a Sephora candle Giftset. For a mini size-I got ~3 burns from it-which I thought was a good value. Plus the smell lingered for a bit. But $48 for a full candle is completely asinine. I doubt it even cost half that to make.

I have cowboy kush and love it. It isn't a scent I would normally go for but every time I light this candle my apartment feels so cozy and smells soooo good. They burn really well and last awhile.

My ONLY complaint with Boy Smells candles is I tend to have issues with them tunneling, no matter how long I leave them to burn. But other than that, they're one of the best brands in regard to scent, price, packaging, and quality.

Smells great! Purchased one for Valentine’s Day at The Social Type. It didn’t burn well. Now, I’m a major wickhead and know how to burn a candle well, this one left a large chunk of was at the bottom. Not for me.
