  • i used to have a birch box subscription but cancled it due to the repeat items and how small the samples where.

  • Fun to get for maybe about a year and then the samples get old and there are a lot of repeats. Some boxes were an absolute hit and some were horrible with brands I had never heard of and didn’t care for so it’s very middle of the road for me

  • I would not recommend Birchbox. I liked it at first for the novelty of getting to try new things but it wasn't giving me the quality of product I was looking for. I felt like I was paying for the little free samples from Sephora. Not worth the cost and I ended up with tons of product I just threw out.

  • Me subscribí por 3 meses, porque me encanta probar productos nuevos y el hecho que sea pequeños muestras me va genial porque no suelo gastar todos mis productos. Lo que es muy top es el packaging, a veces cajas otros bolsos y otras latas, la verdad muy originales y que puedes reutilizar.

    Te recomiendo hacerlo por unos meses para probar. Si es verdad luego te vas llenando de muestras y cajas y muchas veces recibes algunas muestras que no coinciden que coincide con tus necesidades de piel.

  • I received this S a gift for six months. The products we nice but nothing I was thrilled about and nothing I decided to reorder. I do think this would be a great gift to give someone as it was fun to see what I would get each month.

    I did not care for the options given in the subscription. I never wanted to try hair products but would have to include it each month. I would rather double up on skincare or makeup.

  • The samples get repetitive and although the value could be broken down to be quite a high number, there are always enough duds that opening the box stopped being exciting pretty quickly.

  • It's fun to get a "gift" in the mail every month but I just wasn't using the products in the box so I finally cancelled. I still like some of the brands they carry on-site and order from them, but I can't justify paying a monthly fee for something I'm barely using.

  • I absolutely loved getting the samples every month... at first. I did fall in love with several brands that I would not have otherwise tried. All that being said, as a 49 year old woman in law enforcement, I did not need two or three highlighter samples in every order. Even after selecting the more natural toned down products, I would almost always end up with at least one of the samples being a shimmering pink face highlighter. I enjoyed the first year or so, but I canceled when there ended up being more products that I threw away than ones I actually used. It did make really great gifts, especially the 3-month subscriptions. Affordable and cool gift giving.

  • I always love unboxing a Birchbox! The packaging is always fun and colourful and the products inside do not disappoint. I’ve come across many brands I would have necessarily before and found some new favourites! Who doesn’t like a box of goodies?!

  • Loved getting this for a while, but many products weren’t right for me or had repeats so just stacked up and didn’t get used. Very cute boxes and used them for makeup storage!

  • I agree with the other person who said it is fun for about a year then it is just the same stuff. A year might be generous. 6 months then it is all on repeat. It is a great gift to give to girlfriends. I do like the boxes they come in rather then the cheap make up bags ipsy sends. I use the boxes to organize my toiletries and make up. More useful then a little cheap bag.

  • I had Birchbox for 2 years. The first year was great so I renewed and have had nothing but problems ever since. They take a month or more to ship and will not return e-mails for a minimum of 2 weeks, if at all. I had to file a credit card dispute this last box. Avoid them!

    Return to the old format? I don’t know…they were having delays then too. Whatever, restructuring was done has killed this company.

  • I've been a birchbox customer since 2011 ,the year it started. Forward to now , my boxes are late , samples half full . As of this month I still haven't received October box Customer service is non existent! I emailed 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back. After all of this time I'm canceling 😞

  • I’ve been with Birchbox since 2015 and I’ve never had any issues up until now. They charged my account $13.78 for the last 4 months and and I haven’t received any of the boxes. Customer service has been awful and they have not remedied the situation. I’m very disappointed and I’m ready to cancel my subscription.
