Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

I've tried the pasta, and it's impressive how close to real pasta the taste is. You would never guess that it's """healthy"""

Great line extension outside pasta.
I would really recommend the pastas for those who are gluten free! I personally am not but prefer eating Banza pasta than regular brands. The chickpea flavor adds a little bit more grit/heartiness to your pasta dish.

Be able to purchase pasta in bigger boxes / sizes
I really wanted to love Banza, but it's one of those substitutes where you can pretty evidently tell it's not the real thing. If you really love chickpeas then go for it! But if you're hoping it will taste like the real thing, I would pass.
I absolutely LOVE Banza! I like their wide variety of productsl; their chickpea pizza crust (pictured) is my favorite. Their protein pasta is also great for those on diets.

Other than it being on the pricier side, not much!
I think Banza is just fine and honestly don't buy it anymore. It upsets my stomach, tastes pretty processed, and if you cook it even one millisecond too long you're no longer going to be eating pasta instead just slightly chewy chickpea mush. I much prefer Jovial (they have space shaped noodles probably made for kids that I really love).
I love the idea of having a healthier pasta, however, I find this pasta to be a little challenging to cook without it going gummy in texture. I find that you have to undercook it quiet a bit or else it will get mushy easily. Perhaps I’m using it incorrectly but this has been my experience. I would try it again and see if I can get better results though as the taste and health benefits are good.

I would like to see more Vatican’s flavor options
I was always a fan of Banza pasta but just tried their new pizza and I'm obsessed! Tastes so good and the protein from the chickpeas makes me feel so energized!
banza pasta is INCREDIBLE, would always cook with it but it is a bit of a steep price point
I've only had their plant-based mac n' cheese and a taste of the dairy mac n' cheese and I'm obsessed! By far the best non-dairy cheesy pasta I've ever eaten out of a box. You can't even tell that the noodles are GF. And all that protein? Yes please!

As an alternative to wheat pasta, I absolutely LOVE banza! So versatile. I usually make banza pasta salad with arugula, tomatos, basil, and some other veggies; super filling and healthy.

There's nothing not to like - it's a high protein pasta equivalent. Also like that it comes in a cardboard box and the inner does not contain plastic packaging.
Feedback
The texture is a bit denser + "gummier" than your average semolina pasta but for those who have tried whole wheat pastas, it's about equivalent.

The taste is pretty decent but the pasta is filled with xanthan gum, which is not great for you. If it did not include that one ingredient, I would give it a 10/10.
Feedback
Remove the xanthan gum.
Is there a Banza product I don't love?! No! Mac and cheese, noodles, pizza, pizza crust... all amazing. Does it replace regular pasta? Also no, but sometimes I don't want regular noodles and I want the nuttier flavor of Banza. I love the protein and fiber count too!

Not great tasting and crumbles easily

It's a new brand to me, but I'm open to try it. I maintain healthy diet and lifecycle so that anything healthy, organic attracts me. Also I'm interested in the texture and flavor. I will recommend to my friends.

Love their "healthier" version of Easy Mac. They were the first to make such innovative products, so I'll always view them as leaders. However, I don't love the recent articles that have come out about lead being in their products.

I loved trying the Banda penne pasta. This is a much healthier alternative for those that can’t eat pasta.

My absolute favorite pasta brand. Tastes very similar to regular gluten pasta. Tastes great hot or cold. My favorite way to make it is as a baked ziti. The pasta holds up very well and doesn’t get mushy like some other gluten free pastas.

These noodles are amazing! You can’t even tell they’re made from beans!! I’ve tried their pizza and pasta. I was totally amazed and will continue to buy this products in the future.
