Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

I love the products. The pasta is going to taste a little different than “normal” pasta but it still tastes good. It’s also healthier so I really like that. I’m getting the feel of pasta but without all the bad stuff.
I love Banza's pasta! It's the closest thing to wheat pasta I've ever tried and love it for a healthy swap. I've been a customer for years now and will definitely continue doing so.
I just couldn’t enjoy the texture of this pasta. I know it’s great for protein intake but if you’re big on textures when it comes to food this might not be for you. I found it was very gritty. I wasn’t a fan of the taste either.

I’m an Italian pasta lover and this unfortunately did not do it for me. Love that it’s high in protein but I just couldn’t get passed the horrible texture unfortunately. I would rather have a different meal if I’m trying to avoid pasta and still treat myself to an authentic pasta dish when I do want to eat pasta.
I love the idea of banza because it's gluten free and sometimes they get it right (Mac and cheese is stellar), but their rice has a weird texture and it's pretty heavy.
I switched to Banza when I started eating gluten free. My husband, a lover of carbs, could not even tell the difference. You do need to follow the cooking instructions carefully, but other than that it’s been a great find!
Love this brand for added protein. I used to eat it a lot more often when I was vegan and trying to meet my protein goals. Some pastas do foam up when cooking so beware to stay nearby and stir frequently.
I used to buy Banza on a regular basis! I love that it's high in protein, but they do use gum in the ingredients so I no longer purchase.
I am a fan of Banza pasta!! I use this pasta over traditional pasta because it has a higher protein content and still tastes great.
The shells were okay. If you are craving pasta then these will satisfy that. They are made of chick peas but taste like pasta.
Banza pasta is among the best gluten-free pastas I’ve tried. It tastes similar to regular pasta and is pretty healthy. I wish they used organic chickpeas but otherwise can find no fault with the product.
Yummy yummy yummy
Love their pasta! Texture is slightly off from reg pasta but that’s to be expected given the protein content. The pizza tastes good but it’s a bit hard to get it to cook until crispy
Gluten free pasta that tastes great, holds up well, and look’s beautiful in your cupboard. What else is there to say? There aren’t many brands where I’m excited to try new product offerings when I see them in the grocery store. Banza is one of them. Wish they offered Organic options.
Pleasantly surprised with how much I liked this pasta! Gluten- free is important to me but I do wish they had organic options!! Be sure to boil the pasta according to the directions so it doesn't overcook and get mushy!
Only ever tried the pasta and have loved it every time. If you don't put anything on it, you can taste the chickpea and know it's not pasta - doesn't quite have the same satisfying flavor or mouthfeel, wouldn't recommend just butter (vegan butter ofc) if you want butter noodles. BUT if you put a great tomato sauce, maybe some onion and garlic, etc. you have elevated your basic pasta dinner to high protein meal which I love as a vegan! I will always buy Banza for anytime I make pasta :)

I really like banza! They make great protein pasta with a good flavor. Definitely a re-buy and a nice pantry staple to have on hand.

Banza! Get their pasta whenever on sale. I will say it is pretty pricey compared to the good ole stuff, but hey you pay for health. Great to have the extra protein and less carbs, and you don't sacrifice too much flavor, especially if you are eating it with a sauce.
I've only tried the pasta but it is a pretty good pasta alternative. It's got more of a bite to it than traditional pasta but if you're trying to cut down on pasta and get more protein it's a great swap.

Best chickpea products! Love the pasta but the pizza crusts are amazing!!! We buy the 2 plain crusts and dress them up ourselves. By far best gluten free frozen pizzas!
