Banza earns strong reviews for delivering chickpea-based pasta, pizza, and mac & cheese that often taste close to traditional versions while adding substantial protein and fiber. Reviews praise the consistently tasty pasta (rotini, cavatappi, shells), kid-approval, and standout frozen pizzas, but note weaknesses: noodles can overcook into mush, stick, or break; some shapes feel dense or grainy with a bitter/bean aftertaste; spaghetti/long cuts underperform; and texture declines as leftovers. Ideal for gluten-free or higher-protein swaps, provided cooking is precise.

Hands down my favorite pasta replacement. It tastes amazing and love the texture and really like it as an alternative when I'm looking for a high protein dinner but craving pasta
Obsessed with the nutty, hearty flavor of Banza pasta. I don't think of it as a pasta replacement but a different meal. So filling and honestly delicious.

Don't overcook the pasta or it will turn into mush.
Delish.

The pasta was tasty but a bit dry. I didn't NOT like it, but I think Veggiecraft and other protein pastas taste better.
If you want protein pasta this is pretty good. I’ve had better with higher flavor and texture but I think for an easy option this is reliable.
Banza has completely revolutionized the way I enjoy pasta. It’s high in protein, gluten-free, and still has that perfect al dente texture I crave. Knowing it’s made from chickpeas makes me feel great about indulging in my favorite comfort food without the guilt. Whether it’s the mac and cheese or the penne, Banza always delivers on taste and nutrition. A must-have staple in my pantry

Banza pasta is a great option if you're looking for a healthier twist on pasta! Made from chickpeas, it has more protein and fiber than regular pasta and still tastes really good. It holds up well in sauces and gives a nice texture—perfect for pasta night with a little extra nutrition.

This pasta was okay. It’s really easy to overcook and become mushy. I have had it 3 times and I have only cooked it successfully once. I do love the protein content and how much healthier it is for you but I haven’t seemed to have gotten the boiling timing right. So it’s hit or miss
My guy is a super picky eater with pastas or rice. It’s been hard fooling him into anything healthy. This did it though. Texture, size, flavor all as if it was traditional pasta. For sure worth the buy. Have used it for mac and cheese along with spaghetti and just plain ol buttered noodles.
Pasta was kind of chalky and was expensive for the amount. However I did like that it adds protein to the meal that you are making.
Good alternative and tastes good
Delicious, high-protein alternative to traditional pasta made from chickpea. It's delicious, easy to cook and affordabld product

This is not my favorite of the chickpea/legume pastas. There are other products that have less glyphosphates, more protein, and are better in texture.
I'm always looking for ingredients that will bring extra protein into our family's meals. I've so far enjoyed the pasta, in which the texture and taste wasn't too far off from the kind I typically purchase.
We love it and it’s a great option for extra protein!
Pretty tasty and very healthy. Definitely not like normal pasta, but it gets the job done! I feel good after eating these.
PROTEIN GAINS. Yes! My toddler doesn’t eat much meat and this is a household standard for us! It gives him the proper amount of protein that he lacks when he doesn’t meat.
I don't have a problem with the texture or taste of Banza, or any other legume pasta alternatives - I'm eating them for the protein. However, I don't really think chickpea protein pasta requires xanthan gum. Many other pasta brands can just make it out of chickpeas, or beans, or lentils.
I love pasta, the flavor of this one is very good, I will continue buying and trying the others
