Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

Of all the gluten free, protein pastas out there, I think Banza is the hands down winner. The texture is excellent and does not get pasty/gummy like some GF pastas. I love all the shapes and how they stay al dente. The protein is a huge plus. I make lots of vegan dishes using Banza and they keep the protein grams high enough to make it a balanced meal.
I enjoyed eating this pasta. It tastes great with any pasta sauces.
They taste pretty good. A nice alternative packed in protein.
I have tried the Banza pizza and the Banza pasta. The pasta is good, but the pizza is absolutely great! You pay more because it is higher quality and protein packed which to me makes it worth it. I want to try the rice next!
Banza is pretty good considering it's not real pasta. It definitely does not perfectly mimic the texture and taste of fresh, real pasta, but it's a pretty good sub if you're looking for something with more protein and fiber! I appreciate how many varieties of pasta shapes they offer.
I like the high protein concept of the Banza products, but I've found they get mushy very fast if you get the pasta variety. no issues with the rice version.
this isn't my favorite of the alternative pasta's available, but it's okay. texture could be improved upon in my opinion.

i do not love how it tastes but i used to eat, when i found out they about the Glyphosate thing i threw it all away. I am not sure if it was true or not or if they have changed something but it just turned me off the brand

I do like banza for the plain noodles, but have found myself preferring other brands with comparable products.
Their white cheddar Mac is super good! I have to be careful with how I cook this pasta (stir it lots) or it can become kinda gummy or grainy. But it is a really good swap for pasta with some extra protein
Love Banza! Great way to get more protein and it tastes really good. It does take a bit to get used to but once you do you love it!! At least I do, def check it out if you are running low on pasta and get your protein in!
I don't have a problem with wheat pasta so I eat that generally, but I like that Banza has less carbs and more protein and still tastes pretty ok. It's never going to be as good as the "bad" stuff, but if you feel less bad after eating it, I consider that a win. I also think that the shape of the pasta affects the texture and taste, so you have to play around and find the right one that works for what you like.
It's not pasta, but with a good sauce it is close enough. A great alternative especially in a noodle dish with lots of other components.
Love their pasta! Don't even notice the difference but love the high protein
Banza is a game-changer for anyone looking to enjoy pasta while eating healthier! Made from chickpeas, it’s packed with protein and fiber, making it a much better option than traditional pasta. The texture is perfect—firm and satisfying without being too chewy. I love that they also offer a range of options like mac & cheese, pizza, and rice, all made from chickpeas, which makes healthy meals easy and delicious. If you’re trying to eat cleaner but still love comfort food, Banza is a must-try! 💪🍴
I love the Mac and cheese but the plain pasta isn’t my favorite

As a vegan, it can be hard to get enough protein. I like to work out and have been prioritizing protein for weight-management. Banza makes it super easy to add more protein without thinking about it. They taste great, have a ton of variety in pasta shapes, and other products like pizza, "rice," and instant meals. Not all products are vegan, but there are a ton of options. I have four boxes in my pantry right now, I always stock up when they are on sale.
I’m always looking for ways to incorporate more protein into my diet and lessen my intake of simple carbs. Pasta seems like an easy place to do that, however the times I tried Banza I really found myself missing the texture and taste of real pasta. It may have just been the size and shape of the penne pasta I chose, but the texture had a springiness to it that I really didn’t love. I’d prefer to indulge in normal pasta and bolster my protein elsewhere.

This pasta was very nice and I paired it with a nice sauce with some chicken. I felt very healthy eating it and will buy it again! Also love the packaging.
Awesome for vegetarians! Doesn't taste *exactly* like regular pasta but not far off at all. I love getting extra protein so I don't have to worry about empty carbs.
