  • Distinctive botanical flavor combinations
  • Refreshing, crisp drinking experience
  • Eye-catching, artistic packaging
  • Clean, zero-calorie formulation
  • Occasionally perfumey, medicinal taste
  • Inconsistent flavor intensity execution
  • Herb-forward, unbalanced profiles

Aura Bora earns polarized reviews: the brand’s inventive herbal–fruit seltzers (Cactus Rose, Lavender Cucumber, Ginger Meyer Lemon, Peppermint Watermelon, Lime Cardamom) delight many with refreshing, crisp profiles and eye-catching cans, but others find flavors perfumey, basil- or herb-forward, or too faint, and note inconsistent execution. Reviews suggest it can be a standout mixer or soda alternative if you enjoy botanical notes, yet flavor balance and intensity vary widely across SKUs.

  • I really enjoyed this drink. It was super refreshing and I believe I had the lime and cardamom flavor. I was skeptical at first but it was a really nice flavor. Bonus points for ingredients being clean!

  • I LOVE Aura Bora. I was never really that into sparkling water besides Topo Chico, but Aura Bora fully created an obsession for me. Their flavors are unique and provide something more interesting than anything you normally find in stores. I’ve tried all their permanent flavors, and my faves are Lime Cardamom and Peppermint Watermelon. Also just got their collab with Graza, and I really like it - the juniper really comes through. Their customer service is great and responsive. The branding is so fun, and I actually enjoy reading their emails to see what’s new. For first-timers: Try to get them on sale at your local grocer so you can figure out what you like. The flavor names don’t manifest as an equal split in taste between the notes - there’s usually one flavor that dominates. Like the ginger is pretty strong in the ginger Meyer lemon one. Unfortunately you’re probably not gonna know if you’ll like a flavor until you actually try it.

  • I am OBSESSED with Aura Bora. Zero sugar and zero calories? Say less. Not to mention the flavors? How dare they jump off the shelf at me with the packaging, then make me addicted to the freshest least ~*spicy*~ sparkling water. My favorite afternoon treat. Do I pour this in a wine glass and pretend its a spritz? absolutely. Do I wish I could have an IV of the strawberry basil pumping through me at all times? again, yes.

  • I love the packaging, the texture of the can feels so luxurious and the tall slim can feels classy. The whimsical graphics are a fun touch. My personal favorite was the elderflower grapefruit one, but I think these were a tad expensive given that for the same price point. I’d like to see some flavors with caffeine or other functional additives.

  • Didn't really love this product, couldn't taste the flavors that we were claiming in the can

  • I tried the Watermelon Peppermint and was underwhelmed. The carbonation level is nice and I'd certainly be down to give other flavors another shot.

  • I don’t know if it was just the flavor that I tried but it tasted too herby, and by that, it tasted like I was straight up eating a plant. Maybe I’ll give it another go, I like botanical drinks, but this one was not for me.

  • I love Aura Bora! The Ginger Meyer Lemon flavor is really great by itself or with a meal or snack. The ingredients are incredibly clean and I absolutely love the packaging. I got to sample these as a part of a free promo a few months ago and really enjoyed them a lot!

  • Nice sparkling drink but I wish the flavor was a little bit stronger. The taste is nice, but is faint.

  • I really, really wanted to like this-- but at the end of the day the flavors just don't come through how I wish they would. There's just a whisper of flavor. Aura Bora isn't bad, by any means-- I just don't find it to be worth the price.

  • Super innovative drink. I love that they have unique flavor combinations and no artificial sweeteners. Feels like a mocktail you could have after work.

  • I'm surprised that people aren't more into this brand - especially if you like sparkling waters and are tired of the more traditional flavors. I really like the cactus rose and think it could make a great summery mixer, or is great on it's own. My husband loves the lime cardamom (and prefers this cardamom beverage to the Dram brand). I think that the strawberry basil is good but is more herb forward than fruit flavored. Last of all the Meyer lemon ginger is pleasant and I think had a good balance of flavors.

  • I LOVE Aura Boras! They are so delicious - I enjoy all the flavors that are sold at Natural Grocers. My favorites are probably the ginger Meyer lemon and cucumber lavender. They make unique and refreshing flavor combinations, and don’t put citric acid in there as a preservative!

  • i live and die by aura bora. found them at a trade show and have been a superfan ever since. i am all for weird water & their creative flavors keep me on the edge of my hypothetical seat. world's largest ginger lemon fan. extra points for the coolest branding of all time ever (& super funny socials). cannot recommend enough!

  • I was very pleasantly surprised by how much flavor is packed into a can, as well as the fact that some of the flavors feel pretty unique relative to what's out there. The packaging is also super cute and adds to the overall experience.

  • I’m a sparkling water connoisseur (aka I’m sober), the flavor profiles on this are so off. The strawberry basil tasted primarily like basil but not in a fresh way? The cactus rose just tasted like a chemical rose. I don’t know. I was excited for these complex flavors but they’re just too fake and forward to do it for me.

  • I absolutely love the unique flavor combinations that Aura Bora has created. They are perfect to sip on as a mocktail or anytime, really. Their subscription service makes it easy to always have my favorite flavor on hand and it is extremely easy to make changes to my orders when needed. Highly recommend if you like the flavor combinations.

  • I originally purchased Aura Bora as I have cut alcohol out. I really like the Cactus Rose Flavor. I have yet to try a flavor that I do not like. The lemongrass is my least favorite. but I don't like lemongrass normally, so I figured I wouldn't like this flavor as much as the others. I really like these canned sparkling waters as it has more depth than regular sparkling water. Very refreshing and different than other sparkling waters on the market!

Highly recommend. I usually buy these when they are on sale or I have a coupon and I stock up.
