Acid League impresses in reviews for inventive vinegars, sauces, and dressings that elevate cooking—standouts include Meyer Lemon Honey, Strawberry Rosé, Garden Heat, and Spicy Serrano Mayo—yet consistency varies. While many praise bright, complex flavors and striking packaging, others find certain vinaigrettes waxy or too sweet/acidic, ramen broths bitter, and Proxies lacking wine-like depth, with some noting short shelf life.

Love love their pineapple habanero flavour. Super easy and can be found at whole foods

Totally caved to buy this at Whole Foods because of the cool appearance, but I was pleased. I think it's good stuff and price is relatively reasonable.
Acid League is one of my favorite companies. At this point we have at least 10 of their products in the pantry. The vinegars are all excellent, my personal favorite is the rare citrus. The sauces are all staples as well - the kimchi and liquid gold are everything. If you love a lil funk, def try these products out!

Sauce masters. Everything I've tried has been divine.

The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful packaging! The flavor combinations are unique and I'm excited to try more.
My experience is based only on the salad dressings - Mango Jalapeño Cilantro and Pink Peppercorn Honey Yuzu. The branding is obviously gorgeous, and they sound enticing. But having gone through two of the vinaigrettes, I was disappointed in the execution. They have a strong oil taste to them but in a bad way - almost waxy. I’m not sure if that’s due to the quality of olive oil they use or how the oil is interacting with the other ingredients, but I’m not a fan.

If you want to try them, try to get them on sale or use a discount code. If you’re like me, then you’ll be happier saving your money and making your own dressing or buying a different brand.

Yes, I'm a branding slut, but this stuff is also pretty darn good. I find all the vinegars to be pretty subtle in flavor, bordering on drinkable. The Proxies on the other hand pack too much zing and sweetness for me personally. I just got the mayo the other day and it's a perfect texture with a slight tang. Overall big fan of the brand. Honestly I think if something encourages home cooking it's worth it.

I own the Meyer Lemon Honey living vinegar and love it. Excited to try some of their more interesting and uniquely flavored products!
I signed up for their recent thingdrop and, unfortunately, I never received it. Something happened that damaged the products and instead of shipping subpar product, they issued a full refund. I respect when a brand is up front with things like that instead of sending along a product that isn't necessarily representative of where they would like to be. Definitely made up for missing out on the freezer pops!

I wish they had been a little bit more communicative about it earlier, instead of a full week after ordering it.

Ordered a sample pack of the "proxies" product. Took forever to ship and the shipment got lost. By the time they found it and got it to me the shipment had been left outside in freezing weather and all the bottles had exploded. Never even got to try them.
I love how unique their flavors are but unfortunately the execution fell short in my opinion.
Got the variety pack as a gift! Don't use it as much as I'd like to but when I do they're always a nice flavorful addition. Also loved the magazine they send to customers.
LOVE Acid League and their creations. Their Umami Miso is easily my favorite, but their Mango Jalapeno Cilantro vinaigrette was a sleeper for me, and such a pleasant surprise. It somehow pulls off sweet, spicy, and herbal without tasting like three separate dressings fighting for attention. The mango hits first, but not in a syrupy way. The heat shows up after a few bites, but it’s mild enough to keep things interesting without overpowering everything else on the plate. I’ve used it on grain bowls, roasted veg, and even as a marinade. Doesn’t separate weirdly in the bottle, which is more than I can say for a lot of vinaigrettes. I wouldn’t call it an everyday staple — it’s too specific for that — but when you’re bored of your usual tahini-lemon situation, this one wakes things up. The Umami Miso... just dump it on literally everything.

Acid League's vinegars have really leveled up my salad game. The Strawberry Rose and Meyer Lemon are both great on bright green summer salads. I use the Meyer Lemon with tinned fish and grains to make a cold grain bowl, too. Would highly recommend.
The dressing is light but flavorful; a little bit sweet but blends well with a sweet or savory salad.
I'm obsessed with Acid League's Spicy Serrano Mayo!!! I'm huge on sauces in general and LOVE spicy mayo. It's great having some at home to have with sushi, udon noodles, shrimp tempura, etc., and it spices up leftovers (literally and figuratively) so well. I do appreciate that the ingredients are real foods/derivatives (sunflower oil, water, egg yolk, fermented peppers, etc.), with Xanthan gum (stabilizer/thickener) as an exception, vs. the long list of random, modified ingredients/sugars/syrups usually present in sauces. I would love to try more of their products – and love that they have umami sauces particularly – but their pantry sauces, vinegars, and oils are quite expensive at ~$18 for a ~10 oz. bottle. The spicy mayo is $8 at Whole Foods for a 12 oz. bottle.
There’s no product from Acid League so far that I didn’t like. We tried different flavors of their vinegars, and also sauces - my favorite is carrot ginger. Everything is great quality, their vinegars are not too overwhelming, so it works great in salads and anywhere where you’d use a regular vinegar.
I was really looking forward to using Acid League products because I love the packaging and some of the flavor combinations sounded really intriguing. Unfortunately, the products I tried (Sushi Shop Carrot Ginger Dressing and Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce) had little to no flavor unless heavily doctored. Definitely not worth the price.
Truly taking condiments to the next level. Their products are such high quality and come in the most amazing packaging, they would make amazing gifts, but they also make you want to put them on display instead of in the pantry. Love the brand story as well.

Stunning packaging! My eyes immediately gravitated towards it on the grocery shelf. I tried the pho concentrate. I know it's called Acid League, but even so it was much sour-er than I expected. The flavor was good, but I found that it tasted best when not diluted as much as they recommend on the bottle.
