This week in tabs: Here's what's new in commerce and culture
Skims launched their first mens line. Hard to imagine the men in my life ordering anything from Skims.com, but if anything would convince them to, it is probably this picture of Neymar.
Big week for the Kardashian-Jenners. What's new. Kylie announced the launch of her new clothing brand, Khy. Definetly feels like she was heavily documenting a change in personal style this summer and during fashion month and I guess if you are a Kar-Jenner the natural thing to do is create a new brand?
Fly by Jing launched an even more crispy, crunchy and savory version of its chili crisp, Chengdu Crunch! If you haven't tried their classic Sichuan Chili Crisp, Thingtesting has a limited amount of free samples available to pick up in a store near you.
The beauty-brand-startup to TV show is not a well trodden pipeline, but just like the launch of Boy Brow and Cloud Paint, Glossier is constantly trailblazing. This week Amazon announced that they will be turning Marisa Meltzer's recently published book, “Glossy: Ambition, Beauty and the Inside Story of Emily Weiss’ Glossier” into a TV show. Very curious to see who they will cast in the role of girl boss Emily Weiss.
After quickly selling out last spring, the OUAI X DedCool detergent collab has been restocked. In addition to a re-up of the detergent, the brands also dropped dryer sheets scented with the same iconic Melrose Place OUAI scent. This is probably the last chance to snag this popular collab so get it while it's hot.
The Caker (a sister led brand and prior Thingdrop partner) and Recess, have teamed up to create a Strawberry Rose Cake Kit. The collab is a celebration of The Caker's 5th birthday and will include birthday cake mix, icing mix, rosewater, and freeze-dried strawberries. If you like to sip on a beverage while baking, the kit also contains some Strawberry Rose Mood Recess so you can stay calm, cool, and collected while pouring and mixing.
Happy reading!
