Who Gives a Crap earns largely positive reviews for sustainable, plastic‑free toilet paper and witty, display‑ready wrapping, but opinions split on softness and thickness. Reviews praise the premium bamboo rolls for being soft, strong, lint‑free, long‑lasting, and subscription‑friendly, while recycled options and some recent batches are described as thin, rough, or downgraded in quality; tissues and paper towels skew less absorbent and softer than desired.

Got these during the height of lockdown when there was the huge TP shortage. Great price and fast shipping (got a box of 48 or so within like 1 or 2 days). Love the packaging and branding. Don’t love the TP unfortunately - truly feels like it’s half a ply, if that. Will never buy again
Have been using Who Gives a Crap for a long time and love the fact it’s recycled and sustainable. A little more expensive than supermarket brands but worth it.
Love this brand. No compromises and I love the design of the wrappers which means I can have extra toilet paper out for guests without it being unsightly.

Their website is funny and my subscriptions gets cancelled a lot.
Love the packaging, super fun designs and looks interesting in my bathroom basket! This brand is very cohesive, fun and inspiring. I have a subscription and will be buy my toilet paper from here until the day I die.

Would love if they had an extra soft version you could purchase (wouldn't mind a higher price point for this).
we buy in bulk and keep them in our laundry room - house of 5 goes through a big box every 6months or so. love the fun colors and sustainable wrapping
Get the premium toilet paper-it’s a lot better. Good eco friendly use from product to packaging. The facial tissues are my go to though! They aren’t super soft, but are strong and work very well. Paper towels are just alright.
Feedback
Soften the tissues just a little.

I’ve ordered twice from who gives a crap, and will continue to. Their toilet paper is great quality, I like their ethos, and the paper wrappings are adorable, so much so that I’ve used them to wrap presents.
Love the branding, love the idea, love the product.

I stopped using Who Gives A Crap because it didn't feel sustainable at all to be shipping toilet roll around the world. It seems far more sustainable to me to buy the most sustainable option I can in my local supermarket (which atm is 50% recycled, hopefully this will increase in the future), which is UK made and delivered in bulk to a central location, rather than buying WGAC which has great eco credentials but is then shipped half way around the world and delivered by a van to my door. Absolutely love what they're trying to do, and the brand and product, but it just didn't make sense that this was the most sustainable option :(
Have been subscribed with Who Gives a Crap for a while, after trying out a few of the new toilet paper brands. Love the plastic-free, fun packaging!

Slightly better email communications when your subscription is up for renewal - but maybe I should just set more reminders, ha.
Honestly, the only toilet paper I'll buy. Used to be something I'd hide away too but these rolls are too cute. Only wish the holiday releases came in their smaller boxes. :(
Once I tried their service, I've never gone back to buying any other toilet paper. I love that it's so convenient, elevated an everyday essential to a beautiful product and is eco-friendly and making a difference
I have been a subscriber for almost 3 years now and honestly I forget about it but in the best way. It's one less thing to think about and now that I live in a city, it is so nice not having to lug toilet paper around. Also, it's a huge plus that they are individually wrapped because it makes it easy to store. Added bonus, they are stylish!
I've been using this brand for going on four years now and I absolutely love it. If you're someone (like my mother) who puts a lot of weight behind how soft your TP is, I'd definitely recommend going for their bamboo option - aka their 'luxe' option. There is a noticeable difference there. I will say that my most recent order came in and the paper is much flimsier, like tissue paper consistency rather than what used to be a bit thicker. Doesn't bother me, but might bother you. I'll also say that I personally don't get the subscription because my household is only myself and my partner, but I think it's a cool service that they offer! And if you live in a small space, definitely only get the 24 pack. They look super cute in your bathroom, and, when it comes, the package only consists of one cardboard box and the individually paper-wrapped rolls, which is incredible. Obviously shipping gives it more of a carbon footprint, but I think that's a decent exchange for the ethos of the brand overall.
I will never buy supermarket toilet paper again. Eco-friendly, convenient, cute. I like that you can set your own subscription and it's very handy now that you can add other bits like kitchen roll and facial tissues to the order as well. As long as you have somewhere to store the loo roll, this is a great brand to buy from.
This tush needs a little more. The packaging is cute and yeah, you'll feel good about using recycled paper but I find myself using more of the roll to get the job done.
Idk it's nothing special. B/c it's recycled it's not soft/great quality. The packaging is fun but that's about where it ends. Another scam product to sign up for and have on autopay. I rather buy Quilted Northern.
We’ve been using this toilet paper in our household for the last four years and the biggest thing I want to note is during the pandemic when everyone else was panicking about not having toilet paper we received our order on time in full every single time! Additionally, I love the Swedish dish cloths for cleaning our home, and the customer service has always been incredible. I really enjoy this brand and it is a household staple for us.

Our household has had a subscription with Who Gives a Crap for over a year and we love it! I cringe when I'm in the store and I see all of those huge packages of TP wrapped in layers of plastic--the kind WE used to buy. This brand has really helped us cut down on the amount of plastic packaging that we bring into the house. We also enjoy the funny things written on the paper wrappers and the softness/quality of the product.

The website is very easy to use and it's easy to adjust delivery dates for subscription shipments. My husband and I recently spent a few months away from home unexpectedly, and I was able to go onto the WGAC website and adjust the date for our next shipment in less than a minute. I love this company's mission and way of giving back, especially their work in the areas of increasing access to bathrooms/clean water worldwide and ending period poverty. They give back 50% of their profits to these causes.
