The Prologue heat protector spray was the perfect find for a protection spray that works for my straight, fine, very long hair. Totally weightless and not too much hold, but a beautiful gloss and body. The smell is gorgeous and rather unusual, love the tomato leaf. I liked this so much I bought the conditioner soon after, which is also lovely. Fully recyclable packaging is a big plus in my books too, alongside the B corp status.

I bought the Amber Balm and I'm fully obsessed with 1) how truly multifunctional it is and 2) how nice it looks on my bathroom shelf. I use the tiniest dab for lip balm, a smidge for dry spots on my extremely sensitive and irritable hands, a dab mixed with water for an incredible makeup primer (the glow and all-day comfort is unreal), or a little dollop for post-shower all-over moisture. It's so rich and yet so silky and easy to apply, I've been using it daily and happy to say it will last me probably a year. All things considered, incredible value for money, despite the higher-than-my-usual outlay cost. Regardless, I'm happy to support a brand that is 'doing sustainability' on so many levels and in such a creative way.

I will never buy supermarket toilet paper again. Eco-friendly, convenient, cute. I like that you can set your own subscription and it's very handy now that you can add other bits like kitchen roll and facial tissues to the order as well. As long as you have somewhere to store the loo roll, this is a great brand to buy from.

A great go-to for gifts or just for a little treat for myself. The formulas smell sublime (which is wonderful for some things, but if they offered more fragrance-free products I'd probably buy more). The packaging feels lux but is usually very sustainable too, which is a huge plus for me. Ordering online was easy and quick. The prices make the products a bit expensive for everyday, so I tend to reserve them for more occasional pleasures.

I love the Muji brand ethos and have shopped both online and in store many times. Their products are stylish, functional and so well made they last for ever. I particularly like their storage systems - modular and so affordable, I'll probably never buy another chest of drawers again in my life.

I've had some very funny moments playing this game, but it doesn't have the best re-playability. The expansions help to keep the prompts fresh, but in a household of avid boardgamers, it's rarely first choice. More of an occasional game to play with non-gamer friends for a giggle than a game that comes out again and again.

    The Ordinary

It's really refreshing to find a brand who don't try to fit too much into one product, and let each thing stand on its own with a clear function. Multi-tasking skin care isn't for everyone. It's a shame the serum foundation was discontinued - I thought it was excellent, super gentle on the skin, light coverage. At the moment I am having good results with their hair serum following post-covid hair loss. I do think it's helped me weather later waves of hair fall better, and my hair feels more resilient and seems to be growing full and strong since using it.

Love the brand mission and all the subtle ways they make their chocolate a talking point. I've had so many conversations with people about the chocolate industry after getting a bar out to share around after dinner. Other manufacturers need to raise the bar, pardon the pun. Helps that the chocolate is really delicious too!

Oatly are doing what needs to be done within the plant-based dairy category. Their products just WORK in cooking and taste GOOD on their own. Biggest shout out to the oatly cream. We used to buy cartons of panna long-life cream from the italian deli, now it is 100% replaced with oatly - perfect for pastas and sauces.

Huge fan of the mouthwashes. I've never used a more effective whitening product than their Whitening Mouthwash, it has a gentle but noticeable effect. It's nice to have a variety of flavours to choose from and I really appreciate the sustainable packaging. It looks great in the bathroom too, gives a very calm and clean vibe.
