  • You have got to smell this oil. Not only does it give you some kind of higher SPF (for an oil) it's great to use and smell. It's the classic suntan scent. I recent went on a cruise and I kept this and their sunblock tucked in my sarong. I was so proud to show that S off lol I love the vacation Brand.

  • I’m obsessed with everything I have tried from Vacation! I stocked up for a trip to Cancun and it kept me protected, not sticky, and smelling nice. I loved using the Shimmer Whip for attending the beach wedding, and the oil for by the pool! You really can’t go wrong with the whole brand experience 😍

  • Ive tried a couple of Vacation products over the last year or so and while I can't say these are my official go to sunscreens (mainly because I live in the desert and I go through a LOT of sunscreen and I live in canada) but ive purchased the Classic Lotion, Chardonnay Oil & Orange Gelee on vacation (hehe) and what sticks with me is really the feeling and smell. No other suncreen Ive found will leave you feeling and smelling so glamorous and glowy. I'm saving the orange gelee for special occasions because it gives me such a beautiful shimmery glow. And the classic lotion has an intoxicatingly summertime smell.

  • Vacation has nailed both the product and the branding, their body oil and sunscreen are genuinely enjoyable to use and actually work, but the whole retro nostalgic aesthetic makes the experience feel elevated and fun. The formula feels great, smells good, and looks cool on your counter, which matters more than we admit.

  • I'm biased because I am their creative producer but I love the scents and quality of vacation so much. My favorite SPF, my favorite summertime host gift. I'll always admire their nostalgic summer scents.

  • I've tried the Classic Lotion, Chardonnay oil, face spray, and baby oil. I also have the sunscreen stick. I really enjoy the pure nostalgia smell of the classic lotion. It's a little on the thicker side and takes a while to rub in, but I feel that like helps make sure you have good coverage. The Chardonnay oil and baby oil are quick to put on and don't seem to leave nasty residue on clothes. I prefer the smell of the Chardonnay oil to the Baby oil. Both leave your skin with a subtle shine, without feeling like a grease ball. I am very careful not to let either make contact with my hair though, as it seems to damage it a little. I think of the four products I've tried, the super spray is just not for me.

  • Mine is a different scent one but didn't see it listed here. Transport me to: When spraying grand cuvée on my skin, it didn't transport me to a typical beach scene, like their sunscreen-scented products. Grand Cuvée leans toward transporting me to a sophisticated champagne brunch or a sunset rooftop. Scent: When using Chardonnay oil, from the first spritz, it opens with a nice burst of citrus, imagine chilled prosecco kissed with mandarin. I find I enjoy the scent more once the oil settles and dries down after about 30 minutes of wearing it. When I first spray it on, it’s on the strong oak side because of the cognac and amber. I prefer it once it settles because it transforms into a delicate blend of light florals and soft white peach. Wear time: Longevity can vary for each person, but for me, it lasted for almost six hours. In my opinion, I think that is a good amount of time because some perfumes only like to last for one to two hours.

  • I absolutely love the Chardonnay oil. It is a great SPF especially if you’re going to the beach or something. But I just love the scent of it. It smells so good. And the packaging is so cute and really vintage 80s looking and I like to keep it out on my vanity looking cute

  • I've been a fan for a long while, ever since the early days with the first iteration of the Chardonnay Oil. Vacation takes seemingly mundane sun products and elevates them to a pleasant, vibey experience that feels more luxe and more enjoyable than anything in the space. The Chardonnay Oil is the most surprising of the products I've tried, as it's silky and effective while moisturizing and yet somehow still avoiding the greasy feeling that you'd expect from similar products. I also love the Classic Whip sunscreen - it's just damn fun.

  • Vacation Chardonnay Oil smells absolutely amazing and makes you feel like you are stepping into a sunny vineyard. The scent is light and uplifting without being overpowering, and every time I use it it just puts me in such a good mood. It spreads so easily over your skin and absorbs quickly without feeling sticky or heavy. I love how light and silky it feels, like it’s giving my skin a little treat without weighing me down. Using it has quickly become my favorite part of the day because it feels so luxurious but still effortless. Honestly, it’s like a tiny mini vacation in a bottle and I can’t imagine my routine without it.

  • The Classic Spray somehow manages to be both nostalgic and modern. It evokes childhood beach days but with clean ingredients my adult self appreciates. The continuous spray makes application to hard-to-reach places simple.

  • The best smelling sunscreen in the whole world. Like your childhood in a bottle! It can be pricy but our Costco just sold a 2 pack for 50% the normal cost. I have used the Spray and the Lotion, but the lotion definitely works better.

  • The packaging may be retro/throwback but the formulations are fully modern. The fact that they brought back the iconic Orange Gelee - and made it SPF 30 - makes me a customer for life. I am not fragrance-averse but do not like banana-based smells (another popular sun brand) - this "classic" sunscreen scent smells summery so it's perfect for the beach/pool but I wouldn't necessarily choose for everyday city wear.

  • The packaging for the body oil is SO BAD it leaked everywhere all over my bad and I could only use it once. The bronzing lotion stained my swimsuit and I don’t feel like it helped me get any tanner. Love their branding. Lip oil tastes weird.

  • I love the packaging and creativity, but unfortunately I can’t get behind the ingredients used in these products. Many of them contain octocrylene and a couple other ingredients that are restricted heavier in the EU vs US. There’s no way to ensure that the ingredients fall under the safe range and there’s currently disputes over what the safe amount actually is. If I’m using sunscreen, I’m going for a mineral-based option with less harmful ingredients.
